Sir, i followed your instruction and successfully updated my new location in Nebra app. But in the helium wallet, hotspot details shows the old location address. Does it take time to update the wallet information? the lighting buttom shows success app interaction btw
@@MattLong6Crypto helium support see multiple successful location asserts for my hotspot (cause i am not sure doing correctly), and that is the case, then do not worry how it looks in wallet. But he found that maybe noone is surrounding me so my hotspot is not being witnessed by anyone
For some reasons my helium wallet in iOs and Android do not want to swap HNT to DC, only iOT to HNT. Because of that I can not assert new location at all

I didn't do any changes, I verify if there was new neighbors but nothing has change,. everything is before the migration and my rate scale goes down 😢. Why? Thanks again 😊

helium mining is trash. i thought it was bad before but my goodness its unimaginably worse than before. thank you for the video but my app cant even add the dc it needs after adding the proper amount of helium. zero customer service or help. im about to throw it in the trash. thank you for your video and explanation!
I find the best bet is to. 1. Join the Helium Discord. Or 2. Email the maker of your helium hotspot about your issue. That's just how it's always been the the owner pays for the location assertion fees. Unless you're saying that you have to reinsert because for some reason your location got deleted or moved during the migration. Yeah I can see how that's annoying, I also have to reassert all my locations because I just moved recently 🤪 And I think Bobcat is having an issue so you can email them directly or join their Discord, they have had the most issues with me with this migration so far. The easiest has been the RAK and FreedomFi (5g) sold by Cal-Chip.
I'm unsure, this is all new for me as well. I'm going to keep tracking my monthly live streams where I share how much I earn. So I need another month of data so I understand more. Subscriber for the Livestreams 💪

Hopefully they can make everything a lot simpler like it used to be. Because right now it is confusing, but we're still new to the new migration, maybe they'll be some updates to the app and such.
Thanks for the video! Wish the Helium app made this process easier. Doesn't say anywhere that you need to use DC.

What I would do is join the Helium Discord and wait for someone there to help you out :) They can get more specific than me for your miner.

how long should it take for hotspotty to pick up the new location. its been 5 days and its still showing the old location. Im getting IOT though.

Yeah, I also have been having an issue with Bobcat specifically, try emailing them or joining the Discord to see if they have a solution for you.

Why do you need to assert the location?
If you do not assert the location then I don't think the hotspot will earn as much because it cannot witness other hotspots.
Also: its possible you can be added to the deny list.
