We pre-ordered and paid $500, then had to wait 7 months to get them!!! By the time they arrived, the big returns had passed. Absolute nightmare. 2 years later, I have only made back 1/3 of my investment.

The founders mined 90% of the coins in the first year. They did spoofing and everything else they tell you NOT to do. Since they hold all the HNT and if they dump it the price will tank. That's why they moved to solana. That keeps the value of hnt more stable so they can slowly sell it while not tanking the price of HNT

Which hotspot do you recommend in 2024. I want something used and dirt cheap, like under 30 bucks. It looks like I'd have to reregister it costing another 40 bucks... which makes me wonder... why would anybody ever set up one of these, even if they are a techie propellor head like me willing to pay the cost just to have fun installing some new tech on their network?

They pulled the plug the miners are useless.. It crashed over a year ago. I made right around 380$ that was it .. We go in late. Friends of mines made close to 6 figures previous years.
All the miners (all manufacturers) that mined HNT now mine IoT tokens that are convertible to HNT in the new helium wallet (old wallet lacks functionality). You need a few cents worth of Solana for the gas fees. But it all works fairly quickly since Helium migrated to the SOL blockchain
I still mine with my bobcat to this day. Although they did kick me off the discord when I accused them of scamming. I do make about $.25 -$1 a day in IOT off my 2 bobcat miners though.

If it’s connected to your internet, find the bobcat IP address, type into a web browser, and you’ll have some troubleshooting/reset options. Might not help tho. I have a bobcat 300 I’m trying to get working, and it’s connected and asserted, but no inbound/outbound activity. The original blue app has some additional troubleshooting features or wifi, etc. Good luck

I've had a sensecap and bobcat for over 2 years, zero issues and both are highest earners in my area, I'm guessing over expectations or poor setup.
