    Yemeni people look young even if they reach 50 years old:) I'm 23 and people think I'm 17:P. Also when people see my mother, they think she is my sister:D.

    It's singers like Ofrah Haza and Zion Golan that keep old Yemeni/Yemenite forgotten songs alive.
    I salute them, their parents, relatives and those responsible in keeping the tradition alive both in their hearts and in the music they put out for us to enjoy. To all
    who took a piece of Old Yemen with them and kept the flame burning, I hope one day you all could come back, if only to visit and get that closure they seek. I'm sure every Yemeni in your homeland will welcome you in open arms.
    God bless.

    Yes I know it's hard for you , we both jews and Arab been here in Israel , but while we jews build ourselves ,you arabs did what ever you could to destroy us and you.
    and it started long before 48 , but you couldn't do that , we kept prosper and you kept going down.
    and you still think we are the problem haa...I pity you , maybe one day you will wake up

  • @moshad2002

    this song origion is jewish or not,in the singer book he is writen as the composer and the lyrics are by his mother in law.
    but many of the yemenite songs are from yemen so I guess it's not all Jewish.
    some of the very old songs are jewish since Islam don't take music as a positive thing so most of the music creators in the Old Yemen where jews.

    amm...this is a complicated question...and the answer will take long to explain , I will send you a msg later explaining what i can , but think about that : my grandparents are from Yemen , and as such I can be considered arab (this is by the definition of an Arab) but no almost no mizra7is in Israel see themselves as Arabs

  • @moshad2002
    @moshad2002  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    i'm not sure what you are asking her , I don't speak arabic very good but I think I understand that you ask if we (jews from arabic countries) stil speak arabic ,if this what you wrote then the answer is that most of us don't some of us know good arabic (I know little) but the third generation almost don't talk at all

  • @moshad2002

    religions has nothing to do with the conflict between Jews and Arabs.
    infact muslim and jedaism has a lot in common together then with christianity.
    the conflict is simply about land , the religone is only a tool used by thouse who benefit from this conflict.

  • @moshad2002
    @moshad2002  17 ปีที่แล้ว

    my culture is an anciant jewish culture , the yemenite jews are the purest jews you can find , we still keep the original way to pronounse the Hebrew.but my country and homeland is Israel , Israel is our original homeland Israel is the jews homeLand (named after judea).

    it's not that jews don't like muslims. infact muslim and jews had a lot in common , it's just the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians that influanced the jews and muslims

    MohamedRoman, the Arabic Jews or Mizrahim are usually more right wing than the ashkenazim. I wouldn't say Mizrahi Jewish attitudes towards Palestinians are any more cordial than others. In the early days of modern Israel, Judeo-Arabs were looked down upon, less for being Arab and more for being religious/orthodox and uneducated. I'd say that stigma no longer is prevelant, especially with Mizrahim being the largest ethnic group.
