I've had a few rides on Flying Dutchman, and I can tell you the dark room before you see the ship feels massive. Hell, it doesn't even feel like a room. It's amazing, and the ride has basically become a part of Dutch (and even Belgian) culture. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't know about the ride. It's iconic over here.
Beautiful video! But you said that the exterior of The flying Dutchman was an 13th century castle. Well actually it's an 17th century typical dutch harbour. And there isn't an captain that seeks for riches, he was cursed because he sailed on easter. And that was strongly forbidden around that time. Furthermore it was an video that really told my feelings about The flying Dutchman, so thanks for that!
What I like about rides like mystic manor is that its based on a ORIGINAL story that Disney created without an ip attached to it. The US parks need to do more of this
Mystic Manor in Hong Kong had to be themed that way, because they have laws against the depiction of the occult and supernatural themes. They did a crazy good job on that though!
I commented on the last video saying how Rise was probably number one now, you didn’t disappoint with this one! Didn’t know you made a follow up video haha
This really made me laugh love the commentary keep up the good work👍👍(also those are some good rides I love the Batman one,you got your self a like)also I’ve been on all the Disney ones in Orlando and In Paris and the universal ones but to me Disney Orlando is the best as it’s a very immersive because it’s like your in a magical bubble
They did a really good job of turning Disney World into it's own little city! It's difficult for me to pick a favorite since they all have their own unique style! Glad you liked the video Joe!!
Mystery mine definately needs to make a list because, even tho its not the best eurofighter out there, its theming is what you need to see, which is why I ride it again and again
the story of the flying dutchman is actually that the captain became the captain of the flying dutchman after he left his harbour on 1st paasdag (Most important Christian festival of the year) and during a storm. he became blind of greed thats why he was cursed. i like your videos and keep up the good work!
Dude this is awesome you have edited this amazingly. Although I must say your story of the Flying Dutchman is a bit off😉. Nevertheless you sir are amazing and I hope you produce more videos
I know this is an old comment but I wanted to add to this - can't believe I just watched 22 great themed rides, but Phantasialand was completely ignored ... F.L.Y. is the most immersive thing I've ever experienced, I mean, even having to empty your pockets beforehand is themed and you literally fly through an incredibly detailed steampunk town.
I think that rides like wickerman and smiler from alten towers and saw the ride at thorp park should have maid the list as their theming is immensely creative and the queuing experience is ok to great
If you were to open this up to "most immersive attractions" rather than just "rides", I would recommend the Meow Wolf attractions. The only one I've personally been to is the House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe, but it is excellent, and based on the videos I've seen, it looks like Omega Mart in Las Vegas might be even better. The House of Eternal Return is a walk-through attraction, and it is very immersive, because you can rifle through the papers on the kitchen table to look for clues to understand the backstory of the attraction. There is an ad playing on the television in the living room, and it has an 800 number at the end of it. If you actually call the 800 number, it is "in-universe" and gives you more clues. The newspaper lying on a chair in the corner of the bathroom has an ad with a QR code. If you scan the QR code on your phone, the web site you reach is also "in-universe". The attraction is visually stunning, and very well-themed. One thing that slightly detracts from the theming is that different sections of the attraction seem to be done in different styles, which makes the theming feel a little less cohesive. Also, it wouldn't earn any points for "theming of queue", since you just have to wait in the parking lot until the timeslot on your ticket is admitted.
Wow 🤩 super professional !!!! You deserve at LEAST 100k subscribers 🤷♀️ let me start that off by adding mine 👍 What a super super vid Thankyou so much
I love cartoons and would love more attractions based on them but Runaway railway would be much better if it had the artstyle before this one i found it do unnapealing especially goofy
Tomb Raider The Ride at KI is the most immersive ride I ever rode. Its also my favorite ride I've ever been on, and NOTHING can dethrone it. Too bad Cedar Fair destroyed it. I'll forever miss it. It is my #1 of all time, and the rarest credit I have.

Flying Dutchman is my all time favourite ride

Great vid! the only thing I would have changed is maybe adding flight of passage? anyway, keep up the good work!
It’s all screens though.
Great video

Your channel is so under-rated
You deserve more subs!
Great that you picked two Efteling rides. Droomvlucht / Dreamflight is also fantastic, but I get that you had to make choices 😉
Mystery mine definately needs to make a list because, even tho its not the best eurofighter out there, its theming is what you need to see, which is why I ride it again and again

Subscribed. Very entertaining video!
Everybody makes mistakes, Park Wars! Easy does it!

Pirates of the caribbean in paris is in such bad shape these days. So sad to see what it could be if it was maintained properly
Wait you added a efteling ride but not even an phantasialand one? Talocan, taron, chiapas and fly? 😭 Great video though.

The fact that hagrids magical creatures motorbike adventure and velocicoaster isn’t in either list is a massive disservice
Ghost captains letting you ride a rollercoaster instead of killing you are tight.

I think the best are Pirates in Shanghai,Journey and Avatar
a pufferfish approves of this video
You need to do a new version of the video there some cool rides added in 2021 (like Jurassic world adventure in beijing)
What do you think of the Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster?
Wow 🤩 super professional !!!! You deserve at LEAST 100k subscribers 🤷♀️ let me start that off by adding mine 👍
What a super super vid Thankyou so much
No no. You can get to the Batcave through Wayne enterprises
You missed the best Pirates... the new Piraten in Batavia beats pirates in everyway...
Gawd those harrasy fans that in addition make you feel guilty. There's no need!
Been to hong kong disney land and it has nothing on Europa park. As a whole
VELOCICOASTER
taron?
E. T? Transformers?
