Frontier OS31 Sawmill
NEO-TEC Power Chainsaws
We live in the foothills of the Northwest Georgia mountains on our 8 acre small scale homestead. We grow specialty crops consisting of in-season fruits and veggies. We sell our market garden produce and fresh eggs locally at the Canton Farmer’s Market in Canton, Georgia. We soon will be selling forestry products including firewood and lumber.

Thought I was going to learn something about the sawmill
Nice equipment you got there
Thank you! Now if we can just get a little cooperation with the weather we can put it to more use! Thanks for commenting 👍 and subscribing!

Beautiful video!
Best regards! 🤝🤝🤝
Good evening my friend! We hope all is well with you and the family! Like you we have been very busy, much work and little time! Stay healthy and safe my friend! 👏👏🤝🤝🏁
Thats a great sawmill. I'm considering one of these, I'll be retiring in about 18 months. This would keep me occupied. Merry Christmas from the Barr House in West Virginia.
Good morning Dean! Yes sir,it seems to work well. Frontier needs some work with customer service but if you are mechanically inclined this mill is great! We figured best all around when dollars really counted! Merry Christmas bud stay healthy safe and warm!

@@CornucopiaFarmstead Thank you Ric PS I appreciate your Patriotism and displaying our Flag on your garage buddy.
Thank you Dean. We Love this country, My father, his father many family and friends have gave so much, and Like my father, he never came back but sacrificed so so much for us and so many more. It will always fly and always be in remembrance of all who have gone and all who serve today,100%!
Great work on the mill guys. I've got one in the pipeline, a OS27 mill. I can't get logs over 24" so made better sense for me. Are you getting any more content on the mill ?
Cheers guys
Are you still liking your mill? I'm looking at the Frontier line now. I'm homesteading in the mountains of NC and I'd love to turn some timber into lumber. I appreciate you and your channel.
Thanks,
Scott
Good morning Scott. Yes we still have our mill and have lots of logs waiting to be cut now. We don't cut during the summer because of the bee's. We have honey bee's and don't spray or else we will kill them and we wouldn't want that to happen! The mill is great and for the cost it is well worth it. The customer service for Frontier is the only problem. Our mill crate was damaged during shipping so many parts were missing. Frontier at the time was very hard to contact even though they had several means to do so. Eventually we received everything but it took a while. From my understanding they are much better now, just not when we acquired ours. If you have any questions about it I'll answer them if I can. We have no complaints about the mill, it is 100% as advertised ! Thanks for the kind words, just trying to do our part also.

@@CornucopiaFarmstead Sorry to bug you so much but do you mind if I ask what carrier it shipped with? The only reason I ask is it's pretty difficult to get to my house and I might be able to give the driver a heads up. Thanks again for your help.
@@s.r.t.8758 not a problem bud. We used T-force freight which is a subsidiary of UPS. They most likely will ship it on a LTL truck. If you want lift gate service it is substantially more, I'm sure you have pallet forks for your tractor which you will need if you choose not to have lift gate service. We used our tractor to unload. We have the 0S31 and it weighs well over 2000lbs so keep that in mind. Don't sign for it until you open and inspect everything in the crate. If there is damage take lots of pictures then you can file and start a claim with the carrier right then, this is what we had to do. Once you have filled out all the damage docs and received a claim number then you can sign for your shipment. Just keep that in mind. Make sure that you track your shipment once the carrier has it then you can touch base with them before they start out or else you will have delays. We had to do this also for our place because it is very hard to navigate a semi truck in our area.
@@CornucopiaFarmstead thank you! I'm a 20 year veteran arborist, if I can help you in any way, I'd be glad to. Stay safe out there.
@@s.r.t.8758 yes sir! I appreciate it, I know there are some times where I get in over my head so I'll likely be giving you a shout! Thanks so much!
