DO NOT "J" OUT! YOU WILL LOOSE SL and RP! In less than 5 min go land at the nearest Air Field, earn more SL and RP. It is MUCH, MUCH easier and faster to return to air field and earn that extra after-bombing score than going to target.

For people finding this video today: It's been nerfed it a bunch so it's not quite as OP. Bases are better targets than airfields now and you only get half the rewards if you don't land. So you actually have to play the games. If you suck too much to do this then either git gud or find another method. If you dedicate too it it's still not as OP as before but it's great RP for pretty braindead gameplay. Pull up some videos, sit in third person on your bomber, and just fly to bases, bomb, alnd, repeat. The Ju288 and HE177 are beasts for this because you'll usually pick up a few plane kills too with those nasty 20mms.
Exact opposite for bomber mains… 1. Climb 2. Fly to enemy base 3. Use gunners to blast incoming fighter 2000X 4.Die in one shot when they blow your wing or tail off instantly.
One thing I would really recommend is for getting boosters, the the Air and ground assault arcade battles as they give you a booster regardless of the outcome of the battle and so it will give you decent boosters, sometimes very high in percentage, and then that further helps the process
Yeah if you enjoy wasting 30 minutes just to get no rewards because you didn’t win. Too many people don’t know how to play assault air arcade, they just chase the bombers nonstop even after they drop bombs, leading to falling behind on the next wave and the next, also 3-4 people going for ground when only 1 is needed. Until there are 3 waves and a wave of ground targets and there is NOTHING you can do.

I've found that it's best to turn off auto repair. Not only does this increase your profits per match, because it saves you SL since you aren't paying for repairs, but you are also less stressed. This means you will test War Thunder as more of a game, and less as work, and you will be better able to think clearly, instead of constantly worrying about paying for your repair at the end of the match if you get shot down. As a secondary, it means you will only have to pay to repair a damaged aircraft only when you want to fly it.
I literally had to turn it off because I ended up bankrupt and unable to purchase or train any crew of tier 3 planes. But even then the absolutely retarded repair times are more frustrating than the costs. Having to wait 3-4+ hours, some even take literal DAYS to repair at higher tiers. It’s so fucking stupid. Just a way to force you to pay them money for their in-game currency. Scumbags. Yeah, make it so I’m unable to play your game, that’s really gonna make me wanna give money.

I love wt. I hate having to grind so much for any tanks. I mean ik how to play tanks for the most part. but it takes SOOOOO damn long for me to get anything. even getting a good ammount of kills it's such a grind. you need to put next too 35+ to get the next tank past tier 3
1. The problem is that the B-29 atm costs 74k SL to repair. If you dont have a prem account you will most likely loos SL, especially if there is a semi good player that will just eat you alive making you pay 74k SL again. 2. Also a booster only lasts 30min in a battle, it wont last for two hours 3. Another good way that isnt that risky is going to Ground strike tank in tank RB with an premium aircraft like the Do 335 or He 219, if you do this you will most likely get around 150+ SL per battle with a prem account, and even without you get a good ammount up to 100k SL

If you say have 12 million silver lions and just need research then you can bail out of the plane but if you need silver Lions than you need to try to keep the plane alive or use a different bomber 2: that's what I thought but you can see at the end of that game that was over an hour long I only made $400,000 silver lions but when the game finished the 400% booster activated and increased it to over a million
If you activate a booster (for example like a 400% one) and go into battle every 30 minutes you spend in the battle is another booster so if the battle if and hour and 30 minutes long then you get 3*400% booster. It even says this on the boosters ig.

unfortunately bombers did get a big nerf so vid is a little outdated now to anyone in 2022 unless they rebuff them in the future past this time edit: you have to return to the airfield to recieve full lions and xp, it is half from hitting bombs, other half is given when you get back, if you get shotdown I think it gives like partial of full but not fully certin.
If you play the tu-4 you can get like 70+ t of tnt and with a booster you can get like 100k rp and 1mil+ sl, also you shouldn’t be going into gunner view bc in sim players get really close and your Gunners will laser them down on their own
An important note: Gaijin recently made a change which halves your reward for bombing airbases in the air and gives the other half only once you land! Also make sure to remember that every 30 minutes in a game counts as 1 battle for boosters, a 1 game booster therefore will only apply to the first 30 minutes, a 5 game booster to 2,5 hours and so forth

I know I’m a bit late but I still have a few questions: *Is this method viable for any BR of sim Aircraft? *Can I create a battle with just me against all AI and still get similar rewards?
1: works on any br but the rp & lions you get in this method are based on the number of bomb tons you drop. similar to with fighters it would be amount of planes you shoot down no, the modes have to have a minimum of 4 players or it wont start. but you get the same amount of xp and lions if you shoot down a player or ai :)
Great grind method! Here is mine if you don’t have a good bomber or just starting a new country tech tree. (I came up with this method because I wanted to start the Germany Tech Tree and get all the Bf-109’s) Step 1. Call a friend who plays war thunder but isn’t that great at dogfighting. Step 2. Make a 1v1 battle, it can be any map, any game mode, any setting. (Simulator mode is recommended) Step 3. Kill them as many times as possible. You should probably let them win a couple of times just so they don’t ragequit. Step 4. Enjoy the reward. Edit: I never actually used this before. I didn’t have my laptop at the time and was watching inside a car. Earlier I was trying to start the Germany Tech Tree and get the first 109 fighter, but sadly- I kept constantly getting killed by Japanese or Russian planes in Arcade, so I decided to watch this. Then I came up with my own method after. If you could give me some feedback on this method that would be great.

i didn't use this tactic but i started grinding italian ground forces and im already at 7.3 after 5 days of RB battles and a little bit of premium time :)

Pretty sure Gaijin tried to remove this tactic by decreasing the amount of RP and SL that you got for bombing bases in sim. However, rockets still work, so attackers have now become more viable.
@@若鶏えひふ If the bomber that you are using has a low repair cost yes, but it is much more profitable to use an attacker and go for the airfields with rockets. The only problem is the AAA shooting you down at that point.

I picked up this method, as i needed SL for tier 4 french tanks grind... i had to fly fighters a few times, and now i'm addicted to flying sim as a fighter pilot instead, it's just so damn rewarding. in both SL and mental reward.

For all the German Tech Tree grinders get yourself the captured P-47 and destroy Artilleriy and such grind to the Do 217 M-1 it carries 4000kg of payload and has a much better climbing rate than the previous Do 217. If you're cool like I am get a Talisman for the Do 217 M-1 and Bomb Airfields and such. My best round i had with those two Aircraft i had a couple Tail gunner kills and used the P-47 a bit bombed the Airstrip and such. Plus i had a booster of a hundred percent and of course Premium i got 220.000XP and i I don't know how much cash. But yeah I skipped a lot of Aircraft this way.

not that i can tell. I played a match for 2 hours today. Did 2.8 tonnes of bombing and only got 5000RP to show for it, Which i can do in a good match in arcade. Plus i have premium
goldgreatdane1 It does work, however I would recommend playing at about 3 tier in sim. When bombing airfields you need to remember you have to be above 3500m to not die and bomb each module (the green squares). I recommend bombing the Tents as they are the module that will repair everything unless destroyed. Did this yesterday for about 45m and earned 17k RP and about 100K SL. However I did die twice of my three runs, meaning I lost about 50% of my SL and RP. If you manage to not die on each run you can make some good cash.
Look for a battle ongion and see what the br is. It goes a max of 1 up and down so a b29 is 7.0, in the battle it will allow 6.7-7.7 so i pick the lowest, middle and highest br i can. Sometimes the game for some reason allows you to get the middle and lower plane 😁

@@DeathMonkey0505 yes mate. It's those rank numbers at the beginning of the list when you select a match. You have to chose a game with a matched battle rank to your chosen a/c type.
Guys this works, I ahd 7 planes unlocked but no lions due to repairs and I was able to dedicate a whole day to just this simulator technique and get 800,000 lions and 14,000 rp
I didn't know that but still, with that being said since you get a ton of extra experience just buy playing this mode with or without boosters it's still 30 minutes then of 200% XP inside of a game mode that grants 200% already for the same task you would do in realistic or arcade :-)
I thought it was every 30 minutes spent in a single battle counts as an additional battle, meaning that 2 hour battle will have the booster the whole time, but will count as 4 missions
If you haven't already, watch plenty of videos on the basics and controls and what keybindings will help you. I started playing about a month ago and had a rough start as well. But changing keybindings and understanding offensive/defensive flying helped a lot

Few tips would be play slowly, dont go into the open, look around a lot, dont cross corners without looking left or right and watch your team mates, try to dont stick too close but dont be alone somewhere because than you will get overrun, also dont push too much in front if there is no friendly that can help you
First of all if you are playing early german tanks around that br you should be aware they have bad armour mostly so you should learn to angle yourself for better protection, if you dont understsnd what I mean look it up or go into the armour protection tab and turn the tank around and see how its potential armour thickness increases. Next you should try to always have a team mate on your side to watch over you and pay constant attention to the map. If you want to go to cap a point then try not to over extend or go head on with the enemy and dont push unless you have some friendly tanks with you. Position yourself so you can watch an area where enemy tanks are likely to appear but be ready to reverse or get to cover. Try not to expose yourself in more then one angle at a time and dont try to engage people in long sightlines. Also dont forget to press b and use your binoculars especially if you are in realistic mode because they will help you a lot as well as the rangefinder which you can activate in the settings. Another really useful tip is to go into the enemy tank tech trees and find the tanks you go up against and look at their armour to see where the weak spots are and the best places to attack them. Try not to carry too much ammunition on you (I usually carry 32 shells max in every tank) you should take 24 heat (high explosive anti tank) shells and then some high explosive shells for shooting open topped vehicles or AA or SPAA where crew members are exposed and some apcr (armour piercing crowned rounds) for shooting targets with tough armour. With this method I almost never get my tank destroyed due to an ammunition fire. Also dont forget to discharge your machine gun to gauge distance as a last resort and alert your allies to where the target is. When researching modifications you want to get parts and fire prevention equipment first then focus on the trees around the engine and transmission before things like add on armour and artillery support.
I know this sounds kinda stupid but in normal battles I was getting like 600-1000 rp and just wasn’t getting as much as I was hoping for and what others are getting. Some ppl that are fairly new like me might not know but if you just capture zones and get at least 1 or 2 kills and win the match you will get a shit tone of rip and sl
after i did this video warthunder slightly debuffed bombers, ignore the payload size but the amount of bombs, for some reason more hits give more points but also its only good to do with a major lion or rp bonus now
@@dustinl796 Thanks. It seems they also nerfed the strategic bombers' respawning rate. last time I tried to respawn in a bomber I had to wait 9 minutes. They increased the amount of SP required to fly a strategic bomber. You now need 240 instead of 200 :(

They’ve nerfed SB now apparently, you only get half when you bomb the objective, and then the other half when you land. I think you get less RP and SL too
You have to check their new anti cheat system on launcher, it's necessary for gamemodes without markers. Sim always here, pls come i love free meat for my fighters
War thunder is definitely more strategy. Occasionally the YEET theory works but to be really successful there’s gotta be a plan for every move you make
Tip: Use "F80A5 Shooting Star" (Unlocked Bombs brought it to SB and bombed a couple of times, won the game and got all mods done) With the "A2D-1 Skyshark" (Same BR in SB 7.7) so if you die or crash with the Skyshark you can get 0,5 ton popcorn dropped with the Shooting Star as quick as a pancake is flipped. It's easy to take off with, climbs good, GREAT rear cockpit visual, go bomb come back land bing bang rama dama ding dong all day long. F4E Here I come.
yes and no, its less lions you get but as long as you land on your base it works still, you get 50% lions on the attack and 50% on rearming now so if you make it and dont j out? yes :)

You know I watch this video a phew times and now I will play War thunder for 2 days or hours because of COVID-19. I will do this guide and maybe restart war thunder to get a fresh clean start because I mostly played as the Americans and Germans so I would probably do it.

1. The problem is that the B-29 atm costs 74k SL to repair. If you dont have a prem account you will most likely loos SL, especially if there is a semi good player that will just eat you alive making you pay 74k SL again.
2. Also a booster only lasts 30min in a battle, it wont last for two hours
3. Another good way that isnt that risky is going to Ground strike tank in tank RB with an premium aircraft like the Do 335 or He 219, if you do this you will most likely get around 150+ SL per battle with a prem account, and even without you get a good ammount up to 100k SL
1: that's why I said it depends. If you say have 12 million silver lions and just need research then you can bail out of the plane but if you need silver Lions than you need to try to keep the plane alive or use a different bomber
2: that's what I thought but you can see at the end of that game that was over an hour long I only made $400,000 silver lions but when the game finished the 400% booster activated and increased it to over a million
If you activate a booster (for example like a 400% one) and go into battle every 30 minutes you spend in the battle is another booster so if the battle if and hour and 30 minutes long then you get 3*400% booster. It even says this on the boosters ig.

unfortunately bombers did get a big nerf so vid is a little outdated now to anyone in 2022 unless they rebuff them in the future past this time edit: you have to return to the airfield to recieve full lions and xp, it is half from hitting bombs, other half is given when you get back, if you get shotdown I think it gives like partial of full but not fully certin.
If a fighter looks at a bomber: wings fly off engines explode and the pilot shoots himself its a death trap.
Boosters last at differing rates than what was suggested in the video. Example: 300% for one battle (RB), or for 30 minutes spent in battle (SB).
If you play the tu-4 you can get like 70+ t of tnt and with a booster you can get like 100k rp and 1mil+ sl, also you shouldn’t be going into gunner view bc in sim players get really close and your Gunners will laser them down on their own
my gohd.... for gunners tho in jets, people come at bombers normally from the sides where gunners have issues hitting them in my experience.

An important note: Gaijin recently made a change which halves your reward for bombing airbases in the air and gives the other half only once you land!
Also make sure to remember that every 30 minutes in a game counts as 1 battle for boosters, a 1 game booster therefore will only apply to the first 30 minutes, a 5 game booster to 2,5 hours and so forth

1: works on any br but the rp & lions you get in this method are based on the number of bomb tons you drop. similar to with fighters it would be amount of planes you shoot down
no, the modes have to have a minimum of 4 players or it wont start. but you get the same amount of xp and lions if you shoot down a player or ai :)

Great grind method! Here is mine if you don’t have a good bomber or just starting a new country tech tree. (I came up with this method because I wanted to start the Germany Tech Tree and get all the Bf-109’s)
Step 1. Call a friend who plays war thunder but isn’t that great at dogfighting.
Step 2. Make a 1v1 battle, it can be any map, any game mode, any setting. (Simulator mode is recommended)
Step 3. Kill them as many times as possible. You should probably let them win a couple of times just so they don’t ragequit.
Step 4. Enjoy the reward.
Edit: I never actually used this before. I didn’t have my laptop at the time and was watching inside a car. Earlier I was trying to start the Germany Tech Tree and get the first 109 fighter, but sadly- I kept constantly getting killed by Japanese or Russian planes in Arcade, so I decided to watch this. Then I came up with my own method after. If you could give me some feedback on this method that would be great.

Pretty sure Gaijin tried to remove this tactic by decreasing the amount of RP and SL that you got for bombing bases in sim. However, rockets still work, so attackers have now become more viable.
How bad is it now? Is it still worth trying?
@@若鶏えひふ If the bomber that you are using has a low repair cost yes, but it is much more profitable to use an attacker and go for the airfields with rockets. The only problem is the AAA shooting you down at that point.

I picked up this method, as i needed SL for tier 4 french tanks grind...
i had to fly fighters a few times, and now i'm addicted to flying sim as a fighter pilot instead, it's just so damn rewarding. in both SL and mental reward.

For all the German Tech Tree grinders get yourself the captured P-47 and destroy Artilleriy and such grind to the Do 217 M-1 it carries 4000kg of payload and has a much better climbing rate than the previous Do 217.
If you're cool like I am get a Talisman for the Do 217 M-1 and Bomb Airfields and such.
My best round i had with those two Aircraft i had a couple Tail gunner kills and used the P-47 a bit bombed the Airstrip and such.
Plus i had a booster of a hundred percent and of course Premium i got 220.000XP
and i I don't know how much cash.
But yeah I skipped a lot of Aircraft this way.

not that i can tell. I played a match for 2 hours today. Did 2.8 tonnes of bombing and only got 5000RP to show for it, Which i can do in a good match in arcade. Plus i have premium
goldgreatdane1 It does work, however I would recommend playing at about 3 tier in sim. When bombing airfields you need to remember you have to be above 3500m to not die and bomb each module (the green squares). I recommend bombing the Tents as they are the module that will repair everything unless destroyed. Did this yesterday for about 45m and earned 17k RP and about 100K SL. However I did die twice of my three runs, meaning I lost about 50% of my SL and RP. If you manage to not die on each run you can make some good cash.

When i join a battle I need spawn points for my bomber and I can't spawn. Do I have to create the session in order for that to work?
Look for a battle ongion and see what the br is. It goes a max of 1 up and down so a b29 is 7.0, in the battle it will allow 6.7-7.7 so i pick the lowest, middle and highest br i can. Sometimes the game for some reason allows you to get the middle and lower plane 😁

@@DeathMonkey0505 yes mate. It's those rank numbers at the beginning of the list when you select a match. You have to chose a game with a matched battle rank to your chosen a/c type.
Guys this works, I ahd 7 planes unlocked but no lions due to repairs and I was able to dedicate a whole day to just this simulator technique and get 800,000 lions and 14,000 rp

Boosters only last 30 minutes of any battle you enter. So a 2 hour game the 200% booster only applies to the first 30 minutes of combat you see.
I didn't know that but still, with that being said since you get a ton of extra experience just buy playing this mode with or without boosters it's still 30 minutes then of 200% XP inside of a game mode that grants 200% already for the same task you would do in realistic or arcade :-)

I thought it was every 30 minutes spent in a single battle counts as an additional battle, meaning that 2 hour battle will have the booster the whole time, but will count as 4 missions

Im honestly not having a lot of fun with this game. Ive got 17 hours in and I still am stuck with trainer aircraft.
If you haven't already, watch plenty of videos on the basics and controls and what keybindings will help you. I started playing about a month ago and had a rough start as well. But changing keybindings and understanding offensive/defensive flying helped a lot

Few tips would be play slowly, dont go into the open, look around a lot, dont cross corners without looking left or right and watch your team mates, try to dont stick too close but dont be alone somewhere because than you will get overrun, also dont push too much in front if there is no friendly that can help you
I'll look into it but I don't really know any major tips for tanks at the moment
First of all if you are playing early german tanks around that br you should be aware they have bad armour mostly so you should learn to angle yourself for better protection, if you dont understsnd what I mean look it up or go into the armour protection tab and turn the tank around and see how its potential armour thickness increases. Next you should try to always have a team mate on your side to watch over you and pay constant attention to the map. If you want to go to cap a point then try not to over extend or go head on with the enemy and dont push unless you have some friendly tanks with you. Position yourself so you can watch an area where enemy tanks are likely to appear but be ready to reverse or get to cover. Try not to expose yourself in more then one angle at a time and dont try to engage people in long sightlines. Also dont forget to press b and use your binoculars especially if you are in realistic mode because they will help you a lot as well as the rangefinder which you can activate in the settings. Another really useful tip is to go into the enemy tank tech trees and find the tanks you go up against and look at their armour to see where the weak spots are and the best places to attack them. Try not to carry too much ammunition on you (I usually carry 32 shells max in every tank) you should take 24 heat (high explosive anti tank) shells and then some high explosive shells for shooting open topped vehicles or AA or SPAA where crew members are exposed and some apcr (armour piercing crowned rounds) for shooting targets with tough armour. With this method I almost never get my tank destroyed due to an ammunition fire. Also dont forget to discharge your machine gun to gauge distance as a last resort and alert your allies to where the target is. When researching modifications you want to get parts and fire prevention equipment first then focus on the trees around the engine and transmission before things like add on armour and artillery support.
Find out spots where enemy tanks are driving and flank them or back shoot, best strategy for getman pz III and IV since they have no armor for br.
I know this sounds kinda stupid but in normal battles I was getting like 600-1000 rp and just wasn’t getting as much as I was hoping for and what others are getting. Some ppl that are fairly new like me might not know but if you just capture zones and get at least 1 or 2 kills and win the match you will get a shit tone of rip and sl

It seems they also nerfed the strategic bombers' respawning rate. last time I tried to respawn in a bomber I had to wait 9 minutes.
They increased the amount of SP required to fly a strategic bomber. You now need 240 instead of 200 :(

Tip: Use "F80A5 Shooting Star" (Unlocked Bombs brought it to SB and bombed a couple of times, won the game and got all mods done)
With the "A2D-1 Skyshark" (Same BR in SB 7.7) so if you die or crash with the Skyshark you can get 0,5 ton popcorn dropped with the Shooting Star as quick as a pancake is flipped.
It's easy to take off with, climbs good, GREAT rear cockpit visual, go bomb come back land bing bang rama dama ding dong all day long.

You know I watch this video a phew times and now I will play War thunder for 2 days or hours because of COVID-19. I will do this guide and maybe restart war thunder to get a fresh clean start because I mostly played as the Americans and Germans so I would probably do it.
