Excellent review, thanks for sharing. My old-style AGIS recently cracked near the concealment claw; T1C got back to me immediately and shipped a replacement less than 72 hours later. I had already ordered an Axis Elite since I'm adding a TLR-7A to my EDC, so I now have both of those holsters arriving this week. Can't wait to compare them side by side. Just wanted to drop a plug for T1C's top-tier customer service, and again say thanks for comparing all three of these models.

I worked really hard at this review because I’m using a new video editing software system that has definitely presented a series of challenges along the way. Yeah there is a reason why I align myself with companies like Tier1 Concealed. If a company doesn’t stand behind their products then that is a no go for me. To dive even further, a company can stand behind their products but have terrible customer service. My belief is you can’t have success with just one or the other. They have to work in unison together with a quality product. Glad you began the video the way you did. One of the most common questions I get...”what’s the most comfortable holster that conceals the best??”. Dude it’s hard to communicate that I cannot possibly know what would wrk for them. I KNOW what works for me. All we can do is tell people which companies make a quality product and back it up with stellar customer service. They have to choose what they think is comfortable.

Haha your welcome. Definitely try the AGIS or the AGIS ELITE. And you may want to consider picking up a pack of Concealment wedges. Just make sure to buy the packs that are all the same size vs the variety pack. The only thing I don’t know how to advise she was what size to go with. Although you may not need them if you’re still having some Concealment issues they can make a difference. I’ve done a video on my Instagram of how you can set your holster and the Concealment wedges up to be able to move them in different positions on the back of the holster to find the perfect fit.Thank you for stopping by the channel and the kind words. Great video! I purchased the Axis Elite in Nov 2020 and was struggling with printing with my small tactical belly. I purchased the T1C wedges and used the XL. After wearing the rig for 2 months, I finally changed the ride height for a slightly deeper conceal and voila!! My printing issues improved significantly. The Axis Elite is a very comfortable rig. Highly recommend it!

Common sense would point towards soft and pudgy having more give lending itself towards concealment vs flat/"washboard" backing, all other things being equal... ...

Ok. I have a “tactical tummy” and not very active and I have the Axis Elite. Ok. It’s the most comfortable appendix holster I’ve owned. Ok. The retention on mine came super tight even with the screw backed out all the way. Ok. I ended up taking the retention screw out and it’s perfect. Ok

If I may, could I point you towards how Modern Samurai teaches drawing from AIWB? Seems like you aiming for the piece of garment between the gun and mag is costing you a few seconds compared to grabbing for a proprioceptive index (your belly button). @@SONofLIBERTY I also watched your Video on I think .. TC 1 holster and ARD holster. ARD or TC 1 no appendix rig for Glock 43 x mos with weapons light. I actually was very seriously considering the TC1, looks less bullk and think I would benefit from extra flexibility. Have a super active lifestyle always on the go, in any out of cars, trucks, walks dogs, etc.. etc..I'm 5ft 8 165 Pretty good shape. Thinking the Axis Elite is the next best option?

Really a good video to watch for anyone looking at appendix carry. What I noticed most is the right corner of the red dot coming through the shirt. Maybe just need to adjust where it sits... subbed!!

Great video, my only 3 issues is with the holsters not you. 1. The 2nd two don’t come apart and put back together easily like the first one. 2. None of them covered the mag release button. 3. None of them cant. Are those somethings that can be requested? The ultimate for me would be the 3rd one with buttons, mag release cover and can cant.
Michael Williams so you can offset them some but not much. Meaning you could run one side and one depth and the mag carrier at ONE screw hole above or below depending on how you needed it to can’t. Anything more than one level of office it would not work for this particular set up. That’s probably really hard to understand because it would be easier for me to explain it in video form then in words. Secondly it sounds like to me that you need to be looking at the aegis elite. That particular holster comes apart and will give you the most flexibility in movement, And offers the integrated wedge for better Concealment of your magazine

SONofLIBERTY I was looking at what the true physical differences were between holsters. You broke it down all the way to the space between the gun and the mag. This led you to point out about how your draw changes due to your shirt collapsing in the gap between your gun and mag. Great breakdown man. 👍🏽 I only wish I hadn’t just bought the elite... Great video! Ive been carrying the Axis elite with my Glock 19 and the Axis for Walther PPS and love them. I've been considering a Agis elite for awhile but haven't had any issues with AXIS models so its been a hard decision to try the AGIS elite. Maybe I'll try one for 43X in future.
If your like me and wear a holster all day and never take it off and are active then you’ll feel a noticeable difference but the holster may take a day or two to adjust too, Atleast it did for me.
I've talked to a few who run it without the claw like you do. One of the benefits to their new claw design is you get to not adjust the claw up and down vertically to get the right placement behind the belt, but it also has the ability to remove what I call "plates" to adjust its overall thickness. That translates into either getting MORE concealment for the grip of the gun, or reducing the pressure the claw is applying against your lower abdominal wall.

This video took me a long time to do as I was learning a new editing program and I’m really happy with some of the small things I was able to do that most people would probably overlook but were huge things for me LOL. If you are heavier set and overweight in general with a larger midsection I would probably recommend the AGIS or AGIS Elite. If you are shorter, thinner then I’m probably going to recommend the AXIS or AXIS Elite.
which holster di you end up going with. I'm 5'9" 185 with a G15 x300u setup. 34" waist. Do you find the length of the light an issue. Just wondering about switching lights to the TLR7 for length or possible comfort. thanks @SONofLIBERTY

Why do none of these AIWB holsters have a backing material? It seems like you'd be required to wear an undershirt if you don't want plastic rubbing against you belly all day.
All of mine have medium sweat guards. That’s what the plastic material is referred to as. You can get them without or you can even get them as a high guard. A lot of it’s just personal preference but I wear a T-shirt every day of my life ever since my days in the military 20+ years ago. One of the habits from a military service I’ve not been able to let go of

Glad you began the video the way you did. One of the most common questions I get...”what’s the most comfortable holster that conceals the best??”. Dude it’s hard to communicate that I cannot possibly know what would wrk for them. I KNOW what works for me. All we can do is tell people which companies make a quality product and back it up with stellar customer service. They have to choose what they think is comfortable.

just ordered an axis elite for my 320x compact and really liked the info --have been using there holsters for a few years and carry my cz p10s and p10c in axis holsters and have been very happy with them. once again thx for the great info

Haha your welcome. Definitely try the AGIS or the AGIS ELITE. And you may want to consider picking up a pack of Concealment wedges. Just make sure to buy the packs that are all the same size vs the variety pack. The only thing I don’t know how to advise she was what size to go with. Although you may not need them if you’re still having some Concealment issues they can make a difference. I’ve done a video on my Instagram of how you can set your holster and the Concealment wedges up to be able to move them in different positions on the back of the holster to find the perfect fit.Thank you for stopping by the channel and the kind words. Great video! I purchased the Axis Elite in Nov 2020 and was struggling with printing with my small tactical belly. I purchased the T1C wedges and used the XL. After wearing the rig for 2 months, I finally changed the ride height for a slightly deeper conceal and voila!! My printing issues improved significantly. The Axis Elite is a very comfortable rig. Highly recommend it!
Yeah Sometimes they just need a little fine tuning to get the right fit for the right body type. Glad you got it figured out

At 3:03 you seem to be sayin' it's designed to be more comfortable over a beer-belly?
Not really just a belly with more curvature haha. My tactical tummy fluctuates with the seasons.
Common sense would point towards soft and pudgy having more give lending itself towards concealment vs flat/"washboard" backing, all other things being equal... ...

Ok. I have a “tactical tummy” and not very active and I have the Axis Elite. Ok. It’s the most comfortable appendix holster I’ve owned. Ok. The retention on mine came super tight even with the screw backed out all the way. Ok. I ended up taking the retention screw out and it’s perfect. Ok
I didn't understand the continuous repetitive use. Ok. But once I did, ok, I can't unsee it. Ok.

If I may, could I point you towards how Modern Samurai teaches drawing from AIWB? Seems like you aiming for the piece of garment between the gun and mag is costing you a few seconds compared to grabbing for a proprioceptive index (your belly button). I actually was very seriously considering the TC1, looks less bullk and think I would benefit from extra flexibility. Have a super active lifestyle always on the go, in any out of cars, trucks, walks dogs, etc.. etc..I'm 5ft 8 165 Pretty good shape. Thinking the Axis Elite is the next best option?

Great video, my only 3 issues is with the holsters not you. 1. The 2nd two don’t come apart and put back together easily like the first one. 2. None of them covered the mag release button. 3. None of them cant. Are those somethings that can be requested? The ultimate for me would be the 3rd one with buttons, mag release cover and can cant.
Michael Williams so you can offset them some but not much. Meaning you could run one side and one depth and the mag carrier at ONE screw hole above or below depending on how you needed it to can’t. Anything more than one level of office it would not work for this particular set up. That’s probably really hard to understand because it would be easier for me to explain it in video form then in words. Secondly it sounds like to me that you need to be looking at the aegis elite. That particular holster comes apart and will give you the most flexibility in movement, And offers the integrated wedge for better Concealment of your magazine

SONofLIBERTY I was looking at what the true physical differences were between holsters. You broke it down all the way to the space between the gun and the mag. This led you to point out about how your draw changes due to your shirt collapsing in the gap between your gun and mag. Great breakdown man. 👍🏽 I only wish I hadn’t just bought the elite... Great video! Ive been carrying the Axis elite with my Glock 19 and the Axis for Walther PPS and love them. I've been considering a Agis elite for awhile but haven't had any issues with AXIS models so its been a hard decision to try the AGIS elite. Maybe I'll try one for 43X in future.
If your like me and wear a holster all day and never take it off and are active then you’ll feel a noticeable difference but the holster may take a day or two to adjust too, Atleast it did for me.
Which one did you prefer again for bing active? Axis elite?

I have the agis. Use it every day. I like it. I take the claw off though, it's uncomfortable.
I've talked to a few who run it without the claw like you do. One of the benefits to their new claw design is you get to not adjust the claw up and down vertically to get the right placement behind the belt, but it also has the ability to remove what I call "plates" to adjust its overall thickness. That translates into either getting MORE concealment for the grip of the gun, or reducing the pressure the claw is applying against your lower abdominal wall.

What is the difference between the T1C “quick ship” Axis Elite and the Axis Elite?
The QUICK SHIP option is one for a few select common model guns and is Typically BLACK Kydex ONLY. If you have a common gun (ie Glock 19) and dont want any custom features the Quick Ship option is for you. If you have an uncommon gun, and want a specific kydex color option you need to select the other Axis Elite. You'll have MUCH more options of customization options. Excellent video. I'm debating on getting either the Axis or Agis for my P10C w/X300. I'm 5'7 at 180lbs. Dunno which one to get.

This video took me a long time to do as I was learning a new editing program and I’m really happy with some of the small things I was able to do that most people would probably overlook but were huge things for me LOL. If you are heavier set and overweight in general with a larger midsection I would probably recommend the AGIS or AGIS Elite. If you are shorter, thinner then I’m probably going to recommend the AXIS or AXIS Elite.
which holster di you end up going with. I'm 5'9" 185 with a G15 x300u setup. 34" waist. Do you find the length of the light an issue. Just wondering about switching lights to the TLR7 for length or possible comfort. thanks @SONofLIBERTY

I actually have a full review of the TXC here on my channel but I’m not sure that my other video obligations will allow me enough time to do a comparison of those two holsters at this time. Why do none of these AIWB holsters have a backing material? It seems like you'd be required to wear an undershirt if you don't want plastic rubbing against you belly all day.
All of mine have medium sweat guards. That’s what the plastic material is referred to as. You can get them without or you can even get them as a high guard. A lot of it’s just personal preference but I wear a T-shirt every day of my life ever since my days in the military 20+ years ago. One of the habits from a military service I’ve not been able to let go of
