@@heavymetaldiecasti dont think they used the shooting star.....they used the F-84 g which i have a model of......the reason for them being based in europe was "logistics" and "ease"......having 2 teams us airforce top brass could keep the Thunderbirds" for displays at home and the "Skyblazers" for displays in europe......that way the Thunderbirds would not have to deal with all the bother of travelling overseas ,thereby making the teams life easier
@@jaws848 I was just going off info on a website about the Skyblazers where they started in 1949 with the F-80, they switched over to the F-84 in 1950 before changing to the F-100 in mid 50"s. Yeah it said once they had aircraft capable of inflight refueling the need for two separate teams was no longer needed as the team could now fly the aircraft to European shows so the Skyblazers got the axe!!
Oh hey. Hope you have been well!! Thanks for coming back to check out the videos. Yeah hard to believe how the channel has been growing. I'd still be doing the same thing though whether I had 10 subscribers or 10 million, haha not that I would ever get 10 million!! I just realised we have over 2.5k subscribers now!! I'm not really a numbers watcher, I just do a video and if people watch and it helps then that's cool. Thanks again for dropping past!!
Very nice! I've got a Vietnam F-100 & it's awesome. The 100 is among my favorite century series fighters. Actually, it'd be tough to put them in order of 1st to least favorite. They're all awesome in their own right
Its like choosing which of your kids you like best, haha. Oh I really need to find me an F-100 in SEA camo!!! That would look awesome!! I have a F-105 coming up in the next week or two in a nice two tone green camo. Thanks for watching the video!!
"I never saw it coming!"- If you're referring this F100 you must have been blind! What an eye catching and awesome scheme and there is something about a "clean" aircraft which is so pleasing to the eye. Your shelves must be a "sky" blaze of colour now, especially with some of the recent reviews!
I wish I had shelves, haha. Unfortunately, my cabinet situation is bad....well full. So every model I have reviewed goes back into its box, haha with the exception of a few. This is until I can get some glass cabinets bought or somehow maybe for free, haha. Nice big glass cabinets here in Australia are around $1000AUD...every time I try and save for one, I end up buying models!! Then the more models I have the more cabinets I need, a big vicious circle, haha
@@heavymetaldiecast I too have to rotate mine as I have a sideboard and some tables. That is one of the reasons why I do gear up as it is a bind having to remove the landing gear every time I put one away. Unboxing, displaying, reboxing dependent upon what theme I am interested in currently.
Hahah yes, diecast and having no money seems to be a common theme among collectors!! I thought I was getting into a cheaper hobby when I got out of working on classic cars!!! This is just as expensive, haha. Thanks for watching the video!!!
Absolutely gorgeous! HB is awesome!
This is certainly a great looking model!!! Thanks for watching!!
beautiful curious fighter jet
Seeing these with flames shooting out the back at air shows would have been a sight!!! Thanks for checking out the video!!

Muito lindo! Gostei do efeito de "queimado" na fuselagem da turbina, modelo incrível.👏
Oh yes that extra detail looks amazing, it really adds to the look of this model. Thanks for watching!! 🙂

@@peterhewson3216 yep space is always a problem, especially dust free space, haha
You can't go wrong with a good Hobby Master model. I have 4 of them, with more on the way. My bank account also hates me😂
