If memory serves that "quite cool screensaver" was Berkeley After Dark. There were several with that particular one appropriately named Flying Toasters.
I've just recently decided to get back into the Commore Amiga. Have bought myself an Amiga 600 (recapped, 1MB chip RAM expansion, gotek and old IDE HDD in inside) which I plan on spending the money to get sent back to have it upgraded with the kickstart ROMs and an accelerator card (and maybe change the IDE HDD with a CF card one). I also have a recapped 1200 with a TF1230, 3.2 Kickstart ROMs and an internal and external CF card addons. Unfortunately I'm finding that most of the physical games I'm buying/rebuying (to rebuild my physical library and add to it) simply no longer work after all these years (tbf I kinda expected this) So as I might as well go down the whole WHDLoad/get games from the internet I might as well keep the Amigas for the nostalgia of owning them and get a Pi 4 or 400. One question I have regarding PiMiga etc is does it allow you to run the system at a slower speed so that the games aren't running as fast as they were in the vid? As nice as it is to have them running much smoother than on the old machines, they're a little TOO fast.
Technically the Amiga would support two fire buttons: If memory serves the left and right click could register as seperate button presses, and some games even supported it. (US Gold's Street Fighter 2 for example could be set up to use 2 button gamepads, not that it helped a lot)
