Careful with that knife on your side. A small wipeout could turn into a surgical procedure. Careful Ken. JZ

Not to be a tire kicker, but figured I'd chime in and let it be known that in 1986....the CR500 AND CR250 GOT SHOWAS new magic legs in the form of the first production cartridge forks to grace the young and burgeoning moto industry....... But.......
For one reason or another,.....the 86 cr125 was NOT outfitted w the new forks that year and had to make due with the tried and true damper rod, TCV EQUIPPED componentry ( travel control valve) and although by today standards they are very less refined but in 1986 , bruised backsides, wrist splints, bone spurs and plantar fasciitis was par for the course as far as the accepted base level of fork performance and feel were concerned.....now these were not as bad as some of the others like Yamahas forks on the yzs in mid 80s were absolute death traps, w soft spring rates trampolining you into the bleechers...........but man she is gorgeous.......I love the ATAC logo, that font is really intoxicating to marvel at.......so this was the best 125 in 1986 by a landslide, these machines were a decade ahead of their time and the competition would agree after going up against any one w a red bike back in 86......supposedly this 125 had the broadest spread of power most than any other before it and pulled hard thru midrange and into a decent top end.hook.......ive never ridden an 86 so I'm def curious to see how the power spread was on these and how the perception of the times may be diff now looking in retrospect.......best 125 ever is something I hear more often than not regarding thisachine!!!!!!
