OMG. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. You saved me from being in the doghouse big time. I told my wife I could fix this problem (no start). I’ve had this dryer apart a hundred times to clean out the lint. I checked the ohms across the starter motor and didn’t get a reading so I thought my motor was bad. Ordered one and waited a couple days. Put the new motor in and.. {click}. I thought it was the motor until I saw your video. Sure enough it was the problem. 10 minutes later (to let my soldering gun warm up) and the dryer starts! Thanks again!!
Thanks for showing this. I could not figure out what the problem was after replacing the pulley checking both the pulley switxh and the thermal fuse. The board had blown. A little solder and all good again. 😊
I have LG dryer with TE1 error, I called a repair person and replaced thermistor with no luck still have the error any idea if it’s a bad control board.
Steps to Reset Press Power to turn the dryer off. Unplug the dryer from the power outlet or turn the circuit breaker to the unit off. With the power disabled, press and hold the Start/Pause button for 5 seconds. Then plug the dryer back in or turn the circuit breaker back on.

There had to be a reason the board had a blowout.
True. Sometimes it could be some kind of power surge, but I'm not Electrician so I don't know for sure
Thank 😢.
You
You’re so. Kind

Yes, it could happen with a power surge, or possibly incorrect grounding. Might be just a one time thing.
