Wow I can’t believe you don’t do nails for clients. You have such an attention to detail, even more than my nail tech who’s been doing nails for 29 years! You’re so talented! xx
Yeah I think that's why her fingers were burning under the lamp, this happened to me with my nail tech years and years ago when I first started getting gel. I remember she was saying I was so dramatic 🤣 yeah she filed me too hard because it hasn't burned since.
To stop heat spikes, pull the hand out , wait a few seconds and reinsert the hand. There shouldn't be another immediate spike. Cure as you normally would!
Thank you!! I noticed people also flash cure after a design like glitter or something is that normal? I’m confused I thought it was just to not get heat spikes. 😬
dip is just acrylic powder and nail glue pretty much (mma is in the acrylic liquid, not the powder)... might be all that glue that’s getting gooey like that when you were soaking it off... you should get your license, girl... you have natural talent...💕 Next time add heat to speed up the removal process.. in the form of a hot towels or warm mitts... you can add a plastic liner over the hands to protect your towels/mitts.. Keep practicing... it gets easier 💕
That makes sense cause I was so confused as to why it was gooey like that 😂 totally forgot mma is in the liquid and not powder. And yesss! I wanted her to soak it in a bowl with hot water underneath but she wanted her hands free lol. Thank you so much ❤️❤️
What I do for heat spikes, is pressing my finger tip against the table (while still inside the lamp). Or take the hand out of the lamp for a few seconds and put it back in.
Samantha, of that I do not know, I am not a professional nail tech. I do apply my products in thin layers. However, I found some products just happen to have a heat spike.
Love the videos...can you tell me the name of the nail remover..because i got something from CVS and i say with my nails 30 min and still barely came off... I'm a new subscriber really liking the nail video's you are doing...
@@cocoaxpuffies sorry just seeing this. I was able to order on Amazon 100% acetone nail polish remover which works. Thank you and sorry for the late response.
So many techs say that hard gel ovwr natural nail is not possible. Im so confused as soft gel is not as strong but gel nails are almost always bigger and bulkier than natural nail. But hard gel overlay gives natural nail that protection to grow and not break so fast (when you have splitting nails)
I only get heat spikes when I remove and apply the same day there’s no way to avoid it then lol just take it out and put it back and it won’t do it anymore

Hey! The dip didn't make them unhealthy or anything..they kept lifting and popping off😂 So this kept me doing my nails EVERY week which is way too much. I Use any brand if I like the color... I can get 3 weeks on one set..I have a lot of OPI and Gelish (catch'em on clearance @ Sally ☺️) And my version of long is just a bit longer that the Model's nails in this video..

I know it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@Reid Tommy Flixportal
@Richard Duke thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it!!
@Reid Tommy Glad I could help =)
100 grit is actually really coarse, wouldn't recommend using anything under 180 on the natural nail ♥️
That's right!

This was literally soooo helpful especially all the extra little tips you added in because I would’ve done the total opposite lol. Thank you!
I’m so glad this was helpful!! Thank you for watching❤️
Ok, I thought I had seen the best tutorial on this but you win hands down. Thank you for all of the detail you put into this!
Just what I’m looking for! Loved your commentary too!

This was very helpful, thank you! Can you tell me what brush you used?

Heat spikes can damage your nails
Samantha, of that I do not know, I am not a professional nail tech. I do apply my products in thin layers. However, I found some products just happen to have a heat spike.
Wow so beautiful
I havent finished the video yet but what color are your nails!! so cute
the grit on your files are coarser the lower number hehe, like 100 grit is really coarse, but I'm guessing u just misspoke
Nope, later in the video you see the grit in view on her natural nails...
I love your videos!!! You go girl❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love love. You're very good!!
Do you need a topcoat after using gel overlay ?
Super cute😍😍
Thank you ❤️
Why do you have to do a gel base coat? I’m new to gel, so curious.
Helps prepare the nail so the gel can bond to the base coat rather then to the nail, the base coat has to bond to the nail.

you have to use 100% acetone remover! a lot of removers are acetone free/a mixture of acetone + other stuff so make sure you're using 100% acetone.

Where do I get this a good brush ? To do this x

You know the alcohol wipes you use? You could use one of those to clean the top of the lamp.
Will this protect her natural nails? I’m thinking of transitioning over to a gel overlay
I have ibd gel overlays, I love it. Its more flexible then acrylic. When I wore acrylic if I hit my nail the acrylic would crack, gel does not
How long do u wait between refill with ibd gel?
Typically 2 weeks! It really depends on your new growth but 2 weeks is ideal.
What number brush do you use
What’s the name of the polish on your nails pls?
how do i clean these brushes?

Hi dear your doing great🎊🎊🎊
Who tryna grow out they real nails cuz they mom said they cant get acrylic lmaoo
Try putting parchment people down and tape the sides of you so not want to use a small towel.
Loving your videos.. and the continuous tips.

Yep. I left that dip powder alone, Nails been hella long ever since.
How did dip powder effect your nails if you don't mind me asking? And what do you use now?

@@mkb5984 have you ever tried dip powder with a base gel like gelish foundation gel? I think that works better than the glue or whatever it is.
😍😍😍😍
why don't you get your license? We need a good nail tech!
Oh my goodness... a cheap nail drill from Amazon would have cut your time in half. Great job doing it by hand tho!
I have a drill but I prefer hand filing. Thank you for watching ❤️
Everyone does not like using e-files... I prefer hand filing as well. Less damaging.
Your sister & Mom are so lucky.
