pokemon pocket, though i don't really enjoy seeing pocketpair getting sued over game mechanics for Palworld, so pocket is another 'wait' for me as well. As for Scarlet, TBH in this meta their are so many clog cards all you'd have to do to counter is throw debris into Wong and no clone for them.
Great video. I’ve enjoyed Madame web and Arana, but both were overhyped. Hopefully Scarlet Spider will surprise but I agree he’s the least promising card of the month.
I think the card will have some synergy with Ms Marvel as well, kinda being another way besides doom of spreading power out to get her ongoing effect to trigger
I think an undervalued aspect of Scarlet Spider's ability is that it basically doubles any buff you play on it. Forge into SS makes Forge a 2/6. Similarly for Hulkbuster. Araña into a 1/5.
True, however, it's similar to Ironherat in that aspect where you don't know where the buffed second card is going to appear. So, even though Forge is a 2/6, its at the cost of spawn RNG.
@@jchaney229 That's what I'm doing. I've got a Spidey deck going where I work to fill 1 lane with at least 1-2 movables like Jeff while I have a Kraven and Silk in the other 2 lanes bouncing around. Going to use this for Scarlet spider as well for similar reasons. Though a part of me wished Scarlet spider was "Activate: Add an exact clone here then move to another lane." That way you could synergize a bit with movement and imo fits the Spider-man web slinging theme.
This is a very good dissection of how Scarlet Spider might work, and I think I agree with it. Tho a lot of thought is being put analyzing the synergy of these new cards, meanwhile Hela/Cow is burning Marvel Snap to the ground and has completely broken the game, making all of these discussions almost pointless until Second Dinner fixes this. I'm not too thrilled about War Machine either, I've lost count of how many times I've seen folks play Storm on 3, War Machine on 4, and then Legion on 5 and the game is over if you don't have a win condition by turn 5, this is not fun, this also broken, War Machine needs to be a 5 cost card.

The rng can be removed. If you load up one lane then you can control where he goes.

Now that I think about it, that list of War Machine can be turn into C7, just buff Scarlet with Arana or Forge.

I like the play style of the card, so I'm hoping if SS sucks, SD will give him the Nimrod treatment.

Legion is more likely to be changed before War Machine is imo.
And I don't disagree about Hellcow. I'd expect an adjustment.
