@@BandOnABudgetNZ Thanks. I am just trying to level my in ears aux channel easily. I play drums and lead so I swap a lot on both. I was hoping for an easy way to raise the drums in my aux when I'm playing and reduce it when I'm leading.
I'm trying out the Master Fader app on my android phone before buying the DL16S. But nothing above the pan slider shows up. There is no way to see any of the effects controls.
Phones will have limited access. You need a PC/Macbook or Tablet. I contacted Mackie tech support about this and they said its not a limitation due to the phone its the screen size ratio and pixels. So larger screens can support ALL the finer details of the apps features. Hope that helps
Just wondering what Mackie DLxxxx you're using with the MACKIE MASTER FADER App on the ANDROID as I'm in the same boat and are you enjoying it & is it doing all you want it to do ? ... thanks
ANY idea of why, using the hearphones output, I hear an huge lag of sound? I mean is huge like...i speak into the mic (no chain effect applied, only straight signal from mic to phones) and I hear my voices 200-300 msec later! I cant find anything in the settings to get rid of this. Thanks for any suggestions...
Hey mate, great video have you seen this MASTER FADER 5 App running on an ANDROID Tablet ? I'd like to know what you think if you have ( I'm thinking of buying a Mackie DL1608 and they only have a Lightning Connector for iPads ... so I'm wondering about compatibility with Androids, most TH-cam Videos talk only of connectivity with iPads, I've always favoured Androids ) Keep up the good work Joe from Tassie
thank you for the feedback =) Ive been using a Samsung Galaxy A7 since i got it and have also used ipads. I prefer the Galaxy A7. Although I am using the DL16s. If the hardware is lightning connector then it stands to reason it was designed more for apple products.
I work with a band where the guitarist and bassist changes instruments, and i need different settings for each, can you have presets for individual channels or can you only do full shows?
Yes you can store/save and recall presets for each channel OR you can save the overall "Show/scene" for when you change. preset channels work best when each musician needs a specific EQ, Compression, Gain settings but you can also do this with the FX channels. The "Show/Scene" presets/saves work well when there is a large changeover in the band lineup, channel settings, add/remove musicians. An example of this would be when you are hosting an open mic night and need to switch quickly between a duo setup to a band setup. Or if you had to work with 3 bands for a music event, you can name the Show XYZ and then within that stored show you can save 3 different "Snapshots", one for each band with different mixes, settings, EQ, FX etc. This mixer is an absolute game changer and makes setup and pack down easy and quick.
that is really odd, I have used so many kinds of screen devices on this and I have only ever encountered limiting features when using phones. Can you check settings to see if you havent accidentally turned on the manual limit functions?
Completely agree, this has to be the most user friendly interface for a digital mixer! Same reason I’m considering buying a DLS32
I use a samsung s9 tab but i cannot acess to the dynamic sections can u help...
can i have channels on VCAs and a subgroup at the same time?

are you connected to a laptop or computer via the USB port on the mackie as well?
You have a delay on stereo output. Bring it down. 🤟🎸

Nice video
Can you send sample set up of Mic on your application thanks
What do you mean? You can use any mic on the mixer as long as you connect it with an XLR cable. IS that what you mean?
Hey dude, could you possibly talk faster and open and close options more quickly please?
😂 sorry if I am but Yes I could lol but that's what the speed adjustment in the settings is for
