Vises, Vises...Vices - Different Types - How They Work - How Many Do You Need?

The vise, a top five tool in the shop for me. I tend to run into and consequently collect, vises. I have many in the shop and they all serve different functions for me. There are jobs that you simply cannot complete without a vise. I don't know what kind of work you do, but if you even tinker in the garage, you should have at least one vise. If you're serious about the work you do, maybe you should have more than one. I will take you on a walk through my shop, showing you what I THINK are all my vises. I'm sure I have more lurking in the shadows somewhere...
In this video I will give a brief overview of all the vises in my shop, how they function and which type I prefer. Hopefully this will give you enough information so that you can make an educated decision on which vise may be right for you and all that you do in your shop.
