@David Strickland I agree but not every elite would be as arrogant as the Arbiter, Henry would have easily won. But I am not sure if he would fit in that escape pod or not.
@David Strickland Henry is an Elite. Lopez is just a human. That pretty much says a lot. No way some marine would just handle an Elite, especially without a loaded weapon. Elites are trained from the get-go, it's part of their culture. Don't be delusional.
For those who don’t know much about the flood, the reason why burgundy wasn’t killed immediately by cranker was because she had extensive knowledge of how to pilot space craft. Instead of her being turned into a combat form, they did what happened to captain Keyes in halo CE, used her for knowledge.
It's very clear that the writers were trying to make Lopez into this over the top, heroic badass, and yet everyone who watched this was rooting for Henry
Sorry for bumping an old comment, but I just found this video. Personally, I never did like Lopez. She never came off as the “Tough as nails, but gets everyone home” type, she just seemed like the “Asshole CO” type. I found her as likable as the ONI spook. Henry though. Henry’s cool. I like to imagine he beat Lopez, destroyed her body so she couldn’t turn, and managed to get picked up by the covenant cruiser. Then he was shamed and imprisoned for becoming a POW until the Great Schism where he was rescued by Elites and became a great warrior. Or, and hear me out, this entire movie is just backstory for the Elite spec ops commander from halo 2.

*Halo 6 opens* Arbiter tells chief he cant go withe him on his mission but he knows someone who can *on cue* Henry turns the corner *Chief approaches Henry does the most epic high-five multiple explosions* *Game Ends*
Benti was literally the best character in the entire story. Medic, deputy team leader, destroyed a proto-Hivemind trying to hotwire a slip space drive, trusted Henry and recognised that he was better with a gun than a bat and finally took down the traitorous Clarence while sacrificing herself. Everyone else was flawed in a way and most of them died. The coward and the mad scientist are the only 2 confirmed survivors.
Avalanche nah Henry and his elites were the best. They could have straight up prevented all of the deaths and infections if the idiots hadn't gunned them down. An elite was literally stomping one of the infected marines from Lopez' squad, with no weapon in sight, meaning he crushed that motherfucker in hand to hand combat.
Backyard Aviator Yeah! I know. I mean, that many elites all at least armed with bats or boards or something mixed with marines with assault rifles would have kicked ass.
No doubt Henry won the fight but in order for Henry to survive he would have to eject in time, be clear of the blast, get picked up by a nearby Covenant ship, and they don't find out he's a human sympathizer. If he survived all that, maybe he joined the Arbiter's forces later on.
Larry Garoth odds are both died. The is no record of either being picked up by the Red Horse on it's way out, plus with the threat of the slipspace drive and potential nuke means even if Henry one shot her hopped in the pod and went off. He probably didn't make it out of the blast radius.
We all know Henry's badass, but 2 marines fighting their way out of a tight corridor filled with combat forms with hand-to-hand distance in 10 mintues? That's BADASS

Not only is this terrifying, but it also gives a look into what the flood could be in 343 wants to make a flood-focused game. So many different forms, terrifying environments and creepy ambience, man, they could turn this into a fantastic horror game.
Honestly, a pretty similar game already exists, it’s Dead Space. Heck even the ships look the same. Not that I would mind such a Flood oriented game, but I had Dead Space vibes all the way through this movie 😜
The parts where we saw the pilot scream "dont let them take me!!" Was scary, and the fact she was thrown into a proto gravemind, makes a lot of sense, as she has the knowledge to fly ships, possibly the mona lisa?
I don't know why the flood doesn't know how to pilot the Mona lisa yet. Or maybe they didn't reach proto mind level when they breached the section where pilots were and just made them into combat forms instead of getting their knowledge on how to control the ship. The pelican pilot is indeed invaluable, but id like to see the flood find a pelican. 😂
@@deoxi3207 Maybe the Oni operatives shot the ship's pilots in the head before they could be taken. Someone had the foresight to wreck the nav system in the bridge before the flood could get it.
Henry is so fucking rad, I love him. Headcanon is that he beat Lopez nearly to death, hucked her into the pod, hopped in after her, escaped the blast, and they both crashed on a tropical planet where they resided until they were rescued after the war ended. Let me have this dream. Also, Burgundy pleading with Cranker and screaming not to be taken was really chilling.

One way is they merely having him have the cricket bat handle on his side belt like it was broken to pieces during his fight with the Sgt and all that remains was the handle, not really able to be noticed but it could be like a cool Easter egg we see next to a Elite relaxing on the side of a mission or cut scene.
This is the gas station for nightmares. The flood are freakin terrifying monsters. This deserves a game of it's own. Hell it deserves a live action movie.

This gave me Dead Space vibes, which is a good thing. The flood are horrifying, especially when against normal people, not a super soldier. A game survival horror based game around the flood would be awesome
I think they could go for something open-ended like Prey (2017) where there are multiple ways to finish the game. E.g. escape the ship/station, destroy the ship with survivors on board, cleanse it somehow... Could include rescuing marines, civilians and of course Henrys and have them fight with you
51:58 This scene, right here, has to be the most horrifying part. Not in the sense of pure gore horrifying, but the thought of being forcibly dragged and absorbed into an unknown alien being while conscious is terrifying to me. Has to be more horrifying than being outright infected

My hope is that one day , we'll get a halo game that's focused on the horror aspect of the flood. We could be a marine trapped in some kind of ship or forerunner facility and we would be vulnerable to infection.
+mousecyr01 what if they made a mini games that we all play as marines or odst and we do flood missions with one life and there's a objective too, get out and run
But if all of them had orion then, the flood would target them, the orion isn't a cure, it just makes it harder to infect, the infection forms won't go after the people with orion, but if everyone had it, they would go after them, because it's the only thing they can infect.
Johnson was not immune. Boren syndrome, the illness speculated to be the cause of his immunity, was made up by ONI to cover up illnesses caused by the Orion project.
@The Rational Rifleman Due to Johnson's augmentations, the Flood had a slightly harder time taking over his nervous system, which gave him enough time to push off the infection form and kill it, then proceeding to evade the Flood until MC arrived.
@@punctuationman334 No one mentioned "Boren syndrome" or how it was a cover-up until your comment. The original comment plainly says they already know and are talking about the Orion project itself. No one here is being fooled by the "Boren syndrome" crap that ONI made up, so I don't know why you left that comment, lol. Like other comments have said, due to Johnson's augmentations from the Orion Project (aka Spartan I project) it makes him harder for the Flood to infect him. ONI then made up the "Boren Syndrome" thing to avoid having to explain/expose the Orion/Spartan I project to people, but that really has nothing to do with what we're talking about here (which is the Orion Project and why it either makes him immune, or very hard to infect, from the Flood.)

This is halo horror done right this is how horrifying the flood would be Also how thing were the flood on the Mona Lisa because they made a damn proto-gravemind
Plus, Proto-Gravemind building also includes taking people that know certain parts of a ship or how they work. So, if you are an engineer, fighter pilot, or ship captain, prepare for a long death
This is a brilliant story. Scary and Interesting. Also gave me even more unending nightmares of the Flood. Jesus Christ They made a scarier infection than anything.
@Ricardo Smarts I mean that Necromorphs can literally never leave the site of the outbreak. If Isaac had never come along or died the Necromorphs outbreak would've ended when ishimura crashes into Aegis 7 or when her gravity tethers completely destabilise and turn into mini black holes talking out it and half the star system in the process. If the flood had been in the Necromorphs place they would've turned aegis 7 into a flood hive and then taken over the ishimura. As a matter of fact had it been the flood they would've either taken the ishimura and left the system to spread or fired off a signal to lure more prey in. It would've been game over for the entire dead space universe
@Ricardo Smarts the Necromorphs also have a crippling weakness against energy weapons and disintegrators. The flood has it as well but they supplement it by using their foods technology against them. Also the Necromorphs will get fucked up if they have to deal with heavy caliber ballistics or explosives. Autocannons and minds would their worst nightmare. Dead space is another case where the military is intentionally made stupid as possible or crippled somehow to hype up the horror effect. In halo tho the more competent you are the higher the chances are the flood is going to fuck you over royally
@B.O.S Ranger Hawke Weight class is everything. Henry is a species that can lift a 1000 pound Spartan with one hand (evidenced by Emile's death). Elites have also gone hand to hand with Spartans and survived large caliber bullets. This is a toddler fighting a body builder. Plot armor is one thing but neither of them have it in this scenario. Lopez has such a low chance realistically that it's not even worth considering.
@B.O.S Ranger Hawke Sorry but no. There is a reason that weight classes exist in all fighting sports, as well as gender segregation. Size and strength trumps in the end. Henry weighs at bare minimum twice as much as Lopez. Henry is powerful enough to kill a Spartan in power armor in hand to hand combat. Henry belongs to a species that can lift half a ton with one arm. One good hit from Henry and the already wounded Lopez is dead, if she hits him he will barely feel it. Look up what happens when a chimpanzee attacks a human....long story short you are screwed. This is even worse, this is basically a human in hand to hand combat with a gorilla. This would not be a dramatic fight scene with scripting to benefit Lopez. Ford killed the arbiter because the arbiter monologued for plot reasons. This won't happen here. Henry is in fact faster and more agile, especially because Lopez is wounded. Unless some BS comic comes out and saves Lopez Ex Machina style this is how it goes: Henry hits her once and she's done, she is not fast enough to hit him and if she does he doesn't feel it. Realistically they both die. Henry wins and either can't fit in the pod or doesn't know how it works. If he does escape he's either executed by the UNSC for being Covenant, or executed by the Covenant for being a heretic. There is no happy end here.
@ODST 4 Life Absolutely true, especially in this case. I repeat, there is a reason that weight classes exist in fighting sports: with similar skill sets size offers a massive advantage. This isn't a street fight, this is a human versus something monumentally stronger and also faster. Look up what happens when a person is attacked by a chimpanzee, now escalate it even further. Henry is an alien that can lift a half ton Spartan with one hand (as evidenced when Emile is killed in Halo: Reach), can flip large vehicles by hand, hold his own in hand to hand combat with power armored super soldiers, jump higher than the average person stands, and run faster than the average person. If plot armor or Ex Maxina type moments are thrown aside there is almost a 100% chance that Henry wins this fight. He is so physically superior in every way that it is down right laughable. This is comparable to a human fighting a gorilla in hand to hand combat.
Man I wish they made this into a horror game, limited ammo, multiple perspectives, dark maze like ship to navigate through, mysteries to solve sounds like the perfect recipe
There’s a mod you can get where you play the level 343 Guilty Spark as a marine. Sub to that, and play with the skulls there you can’t pick up alien weapons and your motion tracker is disabled. Gameplay is pretty fresh
The writing was pretty bad actually, but it was an interesting story and helps flesh out the flood as a real threat for people who don’t know the lore as well.
Henry is a legend, saved the marines from the get go despite them wanting to end him, all without pants. This is an amazing story and love the animated comic book style taken That end was fucked, henry had proven himself to be a great ally. He still held the Sangheilli honour and saved their arses best he could with some damn wood
Fun Fact: The elite infection form showed at 49:25-49:33 is actually the Juggernaut form, a tendril wielding hulking Goliath who spears its victims. It was originally supposed to be in the Halo series, but was removed due to issues with the creature's ai. Also, no, it is not the same as the pure forms we see in Halo 3 that mutate into the hulker, needler, or crawler.
Fun fact it is a pure form. Composed of biomass, was supposed to be a pseudo-mini gravemind of sorts. it´s heir exists in halo wars 2, there´s some text descrition that describes some giant flood thing as an advanged Juggernaut. Also the Juggernaut in Halo 2 was finished but never used cause bungie thought he would destroy any balance (if you modded him in, you fucking know he does)
+Hidden Desire Yep and now it's canon. It's in the shitty Halo CE retcon game which was released last year. I don't remember the name of it. I want to forget it exists.
I'm sad that "ice cream" was changed to "shore leave". In times of strain, something as small as ice cream can be a major morale boost...not as good as shore leave, but the Sarge couldn't promise the latter, but could swing the former...plus served as better "comedy relief" in the tenseness of the storyline.
Lopez: This is Macraw, as you can see he's new. *Immediately proceeds to gloss over the rest in rapid fire form* Me: Welp, they're all gonna fuckin die.
Well UNSC are quite creative in what their Al would look like. They come up with different appearances for the AI like taking any appearance from a person from 4th century until 26th century. For example, the Roland AI is a ww2 British pilot
the Spartan ll Program was directly inspired by the Roman spartans, as halsey even wrote in her journal. Seeing as the most advanced military soldier is an homage to the fierce spartans of old, its only fitting an AI match the theme.
That was very entertaining despite the low budget animation. Microsoft has the ability to write a good script, and they have top end CGI technology at their disposal, they should just put 2 and 2 together and make a full length CGI feature film set in Halo universe.
I really like how this shows the horror of the flood, and shows the horror of ONI; it’s nice to see that even the covenant know the flood is the true enemy and Henry was willing to aid the humans in their common enemy
One consumed BOTH of the most technologically advanced races to ever exist while the other gets its ass kicked by a crazy dude with the force throwing chairs at their legs. Sorry but necromorphs (although awesome in their own right) have nothing on the flood
I liked the lone prisoner at the end, he befriended an elite, managed to hide from the flood, and survived all the way to the pods. It's a shame he was shot at the end. Miller was my favourite character.
I also like that he clearly likes Henry since he's always trying to make sure they don't kill him. He begs them not to shoot Henry first before adding not to kill him either.
I love the acting and lines in this “you’re getting spittle on my projector” great humor in a otherwise tense scene and this was a legit scary film. We need a Halo tv show
The way the Flood's depicted here almost resembles the Necromorphs from the Dead Space games. I wonder if we'll get a survival-horror Halo game set on an infested ship in the future. It might not be the most original idea, but it'll be fun nonetheless. Maybe it'll share some traits from the Aliens franchise too! Halo 3's "Cortana" mission anyone?
In the original story it’s even more chilling. It goes along some like this “She kept on screaming for someone to help as the infected Cranker threw her onto one of the bulbous sacks, then she started screaming *from pain*”
To be honest I'd rather die than be thrown into one of those. Those screaming faces were people being assimilated into some gene soup for the flood to absorb 0.o
Wow, this is honestly one of the best 343 video productions I have ever seen. Just wow, the flood is terrifying(as any halo fan, including myself would know)
The Mona Lisa looks a lot like the Ishimura from Dead Space. And now that I think about it, the stories are pretty similar too. A ship undertaking a clandestine operation mysteriously goes dark. A small team is dispatched to investigate the blackout, and are methodically separated and killed off. The survivors are lost in the deteriorating ship, trying to complete their objective and escape. The cause is revealed to be the former inhabitants of the ship, who have been transformed into zombie-like creatures (Seriously, the Flood and Necromorphs are very similar. Both are comprised of host bodies that have been infected and turned into horrifying, disfigured monsters whose only goal is to kill and create more of them, and can only be killed by completely destroying its body). A 'doctor' onboard the ship is revealed to be at least partially responsible for the outbreak and turns against the rescuers. They complete their objective, and the "hive mind" of the infestation is destroyed. But one of the members of the team is revealed to be a government operative, kills one of the survivors, betrays the protagonist, and is killed. Out of the entire group, only one member escaped.
Aaron Jerrell I'm not talking about Halo as a whole, I'm talking about this specific part of Halo. And yes, I'm fairly certain the necromorphs were inspired by the Flood in some sense.
Why can't 343 just make a sequel to ODST and have a team of ODST trapped and have a first encounter with the flood and have it very scary and gory like this? Like seriously it can't be so hard
As an emetophobe, the foley artist that did the throwing-up-blood sound effect deserves a raise. 10/10, actually gave me an anxiety attack by 3 minutes in 😂 well played, sir or ma'am 😂.
The pacing took a deep dive in the end. Nevertheless. The rest of the motion comic, was pretty rad. I felt very immersed. As if I had been there with them. 8.5/10
@@synx5196 Mostly the suspenseful moments not taking enough time, to set the appropriate atmosphere. Despite dramatic pauses being a bit over done, I think the last confrontation would have benefited from having a few.
Right? doesn't make sense. that goes against the fact that the floods goal is to infect everything, and the flood use the host knowledge. so itd be completely capable of infecting the redhorse, and i think the covenant ship they're picking up is ascendant justice a flagship that had a majority of its crew made up of engineers and a less then 100 elites from the book halo first strike that master chief and a few marines captured. so im sure the drop pod, and both ships would've been fine.
The Flood doesn't entirely work like that. Sure, the Flood form that the pilot would turn into after infection would retain knowledge of how to fly the Pelican, but that knowledge wouldn't be shared with the other individual forms unless they're unified under a Gravemind. In addition, even if she used that knowledge, there wouldn't be any coordination in getting other forms to board the Pelican so that she could take them anywhere. So instead of infecting her, they brought her to the Proto-Gravemind that they were building in the engine room to add her knowledge to it, so that they could all use it once it was finished.
In the book it is explained that all pilots found in the ship were shoved into the mass on the slip-space drive. So instead of a pelican, they were going for a much larger ship that could travel further.
At that staged, this was just a *PROTO-Gravemind* But hey! close enought and yes it would had done the job. A *Gravemind* is the size of a City in it's fullest, this is why actualy, *Gravemind* dies by being "overbloated" with intel' [ Yes intel'---But the GPU are thousand upon thousands of corpses.] When this occured, the *Gravemind* released very specifics spore each a fraction of that *Gravemind* to find a [Literaly.] "bigger" place from where to sprout and began a new life spawn, growing even bigger, more intelligent... Deadly. That's the basics.
Don't underestimate a human. Its not the first time a lone human killed an elite on one-on-one combat. Remember John Forge? Just a normal human who killed an Arbiter.
but forge had a knife, and then used Ripa's sword against him, so he had advantage, however in hand to hand combat without any kind of sharp or firing gun, an elite is much more stronger than a human, just compare the strenght of a human hitting with a gun with an elite hitting with a cricket bat, but anyway I'd prefered that Henry won, I just hate ONI.
RazgrizOne yeah, but at the end she prefered to support ONI, anyway if an elite helped me to survive, I don't see why not sharing the last pod, the pods aren't that small though, or use the pelican where the marines came, but she just wanted to have every survivor dead so they don't expose or get in trouble ONI, so... it's almost the same thing.
IMO it's the other way around, at least the flood is more killable; Gravemind vs. Multiple moon sized zombie gods capable of using radiation instead of direct contact to not only convert its victims but can also drive them completely insane to the point of seeing the people they care about as enemies to kill or to create a cult completely revolving around these gods and must i even mention the Ubermorph.
jazz3911 Yes, but the necromorphs understand what they are doing. The flood gravemind thinks he is fulfilling the mantle by infecting everybody, and thus genuinely fails to understand why people resist. Also the whole revenge against the forerunners thing.
If Henry lived throughout all of this, I assume he'll take control or participate in Flood Containment teams for the Covenant to honor the people in Mona Lisa and to make sure that no Elite has to live through what he did
This is Henry we are talking about, after a human saved his life he 100% part of the swords of sanghelios and is most likely the main ambassador for them. Not counting he work great with spartan flood combat unites.
I like how they showed that the only ways to kill the flood is to either shoot the exposed infection form or rip the corpse apart. after the numerous lore issues with fallout 4, I'm glad to see adherence to the lore in one of my favorite franchises

Everyone else was flawed in a way and most of them died. The coward and the mad scientist are the only 2 confirmed survivors.

Of course, she had more knowledge of how to operate a ship.
I don't know why the flood doesn't know how to pilot the Mona lisa yet. “There is no cure”
Sgt.mjr. Johnson: *laughs in Orion project immunity”
It’s been stated it’s not a cure it just make him less appetizing to the flood, it doesn’t mean they can’t/ won’t infect him.

RIP Lopez
failed attempt to kill an elite hand to hand.
000 987 spoiler alert damn
Haha? jk
People forget she was also wounded.
@B.O.S Ranger Hawke
Weight class is everything.
@B.O.S Ranger Hawke
Sorry but no.
@ODST 4 Life
Absolutely true, especially in this case.

I figured Henry killed Lopez easily, just to realize he can not fit into the escape pod.
Cricket paddle will live. Henry and Lopez have died.
I love the acting and lines in this “you’re getting spittle on my projector” great humor in a otherwise tense scene and this was a legit scary film. We need a Halo tv show
This... didn't age well...☹️
Well… about that
You should’ve asked for a good Halo Tv show
@@ivnislykun Aged like milk
Be careful what you wish for
The way the Flood's depicted here almost resembles the Necromorphs from the Dead Space games. I wonder if we'll get a survival-horror Halo game set on an infested ship in the future. It might not be the most original idea, but it'll be fun nonetheless. Maybe it'll share some traits from the Aliens franchise too!
Halo 3's "Cortana" mission anyone?
Interesting idea.
A halo game like Alien:isolation? that would be fucking amazing
tyler johnson Only this time, you play as a Grunt hiding from a Flood infestation, or possibly Marines.
Stryker Nocte Sounds better than call of halo 5
Che Guevara Because there's no such thing as Call of Halo 5.
Lol, all struggling to kill the flood.
Meanwhile:
master chief kills hundreds in the library
Practically billions counting the other games and high charity's detonation.
@Keen Folk use frag and pistol
Joe Venables chief is a supersoldier but these guys are regular soldiers
Read the Books? Chief got real messed up mentally by the flood.
he still uses the same weapons tho, unless they were nerf'd for the marines
Cricket bat: new weapon confirmed for Halo 5?
Henry Badger sadly no hub?
Huh*
Lol
Halo 6*
Henry Badger Is this in anyway related to the infamous Golf Club Hammer?
Henry is the real MVP, doesn’t say a word and is one of the most entertaining.
hearing that screaming... DONT LET THEM TAKE ME! DONT LET THEM TAKE ME!
just chilling
In the original story it’s even more chilling. It goes along some like this “She kept on screaming for someone to help as the infected Cranker threw her onto one of the bulbous sacks, then she started screaming *from pain*”
Silenced Games Dear god....
@@Nephalem2002 there is no god in the Halo universe. The closest ones are the Precursers, who eventually mutated into the Flood.
@@arikutin1032 *well isn't that fucking ironic*
To be honest I'd rather die than be thrown into one of those. Those screaming faces were people being assimilated into some gene soup for the flood to absorb 0.o
Wow, this is honestly one of the best 343 video productions I have ever seen. Just wow, the flood is terrifying(as any halo fan, including myself would know)
Well don't give them full credit they did not really make the comic version all they did was animate some of it and add voices
And the copying comes full circle.
It was heavily inspired by Dead Space: Downfall, I believe that one of the story writers and artists worked on this as well.
But Halo came out first
Aaron Jerrell I'm not talking about Halo as a whole, I'm talking about this specific part of Halo. And yes, I'm fairly certain the necromorphs were inspired by the Flood in some sense.
Ryan Sorge Oh of course the necromorphs have been stated as being inspired by early interpretations of demons as well
This is the human version of that one comic where Rtas Vadum lost his jaw.
Your not wrong
Unless you are playing as an unstoppable badass like Chief or Arbiter, every story involving the flood is a horror story.
The last flight of the infinite succor?
Why can't 343 just make a sequel to ODST and have a team of ODST trapped and have a first encounter with the flood and have it very scary and gory like this? Like seriously it can't be so hard
sadly in the halo universe the rookie was killed so I don't think they will make another but that would be awsome
Wait, the Rookie died? Whaaat
Ya in one of the graphic novals
lol, if he lived and became a spartan....
Timothy Soetarto He'd have his own game if he did :o
poor henry, he was loyal till the end, kinds of show how your enemies are not always blood thirsty savages like you would think.
Cross your fingers that Henry will win
There's still an escape pod -_-
Why do I see you everywhere?
Lardass actually Mac took that one
Zouheir Hassoune I'm talking about the one they are fighting over, I was replying to Fred Torney.
Clorox Bleach why the fuck do I keep finding you
The only way to survive this:
Hide in that glitched out spot behind the crates
As an emetophobe, the foley artist that did the throwing-up-blood sound effect deserves a raise. 10/10, actually gave me an anxiety attack by 3 minutes in 😂 well played, sir or ma'am 😂.
It really sounded like he was drowning in it too!
The pacing took a deep dive in the end.
Nevertheless. The rest of the motion comic, was pretty rad.
I felt very immersed. As if I had been there with them. 8.5/10
what was wrong with the pacing?
@@synx5196 Mostly the suspenseful moments not taking enough time, to set the appropriate atmosphere. Despite dramatic pauses being a bit over done, I think the last confrontation would have benefited from having a few.
Im surprised the flood didn't just infect the pilot, then use the pelican to fly to the mona lisa.
Right? doesn't make sense. that goes against the fact that the floods goal is to infect everything, and the flood use the host knowledge. so itd be completely capable of infecting the redhorse, and i think the covenant ship they're picking up is ascendant justice a flagship that had a majority of its crew made up of engineers and a less then 100 elites from the book halo first strike that master chief and a few marines captured. so im sure the drop pod, and both ships would've been fine.
Keep in mind that the infection only reached the proto-gravemind stage. So they still didn't really have any cognitive, centralized thought.
A *Gravemind* is the size of a City in it's fullest, this is why actualy, *Gravemind* dies by being "overbloated" with intel' [ Yes intel'---But the GPU are thousand upon thousands of corpses.]
When this occured, the *Gravemind* released very specifics spore each a fraction of that *Gravemind* to find a [Literaly.] "bigger" place from where to sprout and began a new life spawn, growing even bigger, more intelligent... Deadly.
That's the basics.
Even 10 years later, I keep coming back to this. I absolutely love it
I bet that Henry won since an elite with a cricket bat is much, much stronger than a human with an empty assault rifle
Osvaldo Damian
Except Mama Lopez isn't ONI.
Osvaldo Damian
"Preferred ONI"
no she didn't. Actually, both of them died in the end, its a moot point.
Major Dead Space vibes ten minutes in. Hell, even Mona Lisa looks like the Ishimura.
IKR. I got the same vibe.
Well, Necromorphs are just a less creepy version of the flood in a horror game version of halo.
YES!!! I also reminds me of that animated movie they did. Dead Space: Downfall
You should make part 2, Henry's day out with the UNSC
This is not the people who made it
Do you like my new coat?
-wears that marine's skin-
part 2 should be like "Henry join UNSC"
Henry and the Henderson's
Come on people start writing the fanfiction of a part 2. We can make this great.
I get a lot of Dead Space: Downfall vibes from this
That movie was hectic
imagine the horror a lone soldier would of felt. no matter how brave. the chief is truly a bad ass legend going through so many flood carriers
Obviously, Henry would have beat Lopez so bad that you couldn't even recognize her
This was, personally, my favorite motion comic they put on Halo Waypoint. It was just good with some really fun characters and a horror aspect
This is probably the most gruesome/gory halo movie I've ever seen...ITS FUCKING AWESOME!!!
1:01:50 this is comedy gold
BAMP
Lmao
Bonk
Wort wort wort
I like how they showed that the only ways to kill the flood is to either shoot the exposed infection form or rip the corpse apart. after the numerous lore issues with fallout 4, I'm glad to see adherence to the lore in one of my favorite franchises
fallout 4?
Ainsley Hariott fallout 4 broke cannon on many occasions. Made a lot of fans mad and this guy is glad Microsoft is keeping Halo consistent
Declaw ah OK thanks
Despite how harsh it sounds, that bloody, dying man had the *most merciful death* in this short story, dead serious here.
