these are the best overview formats I have seen done, video editing is on point, sound is clear and to the point 5 min long ,, seriously amazing quality
I spent about 45 minutes teaching this game a couple nights back and went back to this overview to see what rules you skipped to keep it within 6 minutes... the answer was disappointingly few 😅 This is really impressive!
My concern is all the little fiddly bits shifting around. Those tiles that were flipped fit into a recessed spot, but a lot of the rest looked like it was shifting about even in the overview. I'll have to check out your gameplay video.
In terms of the gameplay, not at all. But it is in their Ancient Anthologies line of games all of which use the same artist and a lot of the same pieces.
How heavy is the game? Maybe you guys are just really good at explaining but it ended up being a lot easier to understand than I was expecting. Maybe not as complex as I thought?
Good question. It definitely falls into the category of “not that hard to understand how things work on a turn” but what to choose and when and how to maximize and which scrolls to take to work those synergies leaves a lot to think about. But the turns themselves some down to “count your banners, spend them to do stuff” with heavy dose of resource management.
Heh, If I had a dollar for every game that I could have said that about then I'd be rich :) I'm actually looking forward to this one. Thanks for the overview. @@TheBrothersMurph

This looks really interesting. The stories of Ezra and Nehemiah are fantastic and i can see the theme coming theough.
I am so unbelievably excited for this one. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!

Amazing as usual bros. Any plans for a play through? Love all the long form stuff you guys do too.
Play through dropping tomorrow!
@@TheBrothersMurph excellent to hear!
Nice, You made it as the Kickstarter intro video. Excellent!
Wahoo!
Great overview, well done!

This game might be a little too much for me, but I like the theme. Great overview!
Great video thanks!
Looks fun but also AP inducing. 😮
Does this game remind you of Hadrian’s Wall?
Similar art and meeples and vibe.

This looks a lot like a retheme of Lisboa, have yall played it? Is it similar?
I suppose there are some similarities with like rubble cubes and stuff but this felt nothing like Lisboa to us
Damn, my shoulders already hurt of how heavy is. When is the KS?
This month!

Setup looks high on this one gents?
It’s a mid-heavy euro game and has the usual amount of setup for those types of games
this game is nothing but a themed spread sheet. Save your money and just open up excel
Some people like that though..
You know, it is possible to simply say “hey this game looks like it’s not for me” and move on
When can we expect to see your Excel Game on KS?

I genuinely sometimes just play with data in excel - its very relaxing
