No one talking about the little head walking behind the table? Haha
Future board gamer alert. Super cute.
Behind or in front of?
I feel like there’s a lot of hate for med-high weight euros because they are abundant and similar (some say). The fact is medium weight euros are the pop music of board games, easy to hate on, but really the most popular and fun.
So excited for this! And you guys are hilarious, hence why I listen to your review even though I was a day 1 backer :) “Auxiliary- why Shem, why?!” 😂
When we are talking about Euro games, still the only one I am always excited to bring out is Cryo, it is not too hard and it is not too boring, lots of interactions, multi use cards, cool worker regroup mechanism and very cool theme :) and also one of the games I have that's is good and scales well with all player counts, very underated game in my opinion:)
Cryo rules
I’m excited to hear some love for Cryo. Haha I’m happy to hear it’s “not too boring”. I picked it up $10 new on a whim and hope I like it!
@@john-qz3fu its probably the best mid-weight, tight euro of its year
@@john-qz3fu lucky u, I got it as second hand but unopened for 40eur, but even with that it is worth it, cool workers nice presentation and artwork, good components, and as "not too boring" I mean a lot of euros gets kinda samey even in the same game, but this one actually ramps up interactions while options shrink.
sadly is lacking card variety and gets old really really quickly
How bout Ietusalem? you guys like it too? Really want your review
This makes me think of Caylus, which while an older game (2005 with a 2012 edition) is still available and could be worthy of a look-back review.
Best Euro I own- Anachrony. It’s spectacular! I enjoyed the West Kingdom trilogy, but ended up dumping it- Viscounts was meh, Architects was decent at higher player counts, but I have better games for those, but Paladins was incredible- until I realized it’s solvable. I’m hoping E&N takes the best parts of the trilogy and fixes the issues with the systems.
Normally I can clearly get how a game works after a video of you guys. This time I found that harder and therefore could not really decide on if it is for me (good weight, actions, playtime, playercount this was covered). After watching the Kickstarter video I found some things whom would have helped to be in the video, atleast for me. Amount of banners indicates strength, combine played banners of same colour, blessings and how different actions relate to eachother (combo's). Going to rewatch to see if I might have missed something
Rewatched and missed some depth on actions which made me not feel they were as unique as you stated. Ex. build temple by filling with resources just felt a bit bland to me.
The depth you took in showing the cards was great
These are good comments, thanks so much. We will try to improve. And thanks for taking the time to watch the video.
I still love Troyes. Best euro I have ever played.
I saw a commercial for spikeball. The people looked awkward and the game did not look fun. I saw people playing it, and it looked dumb. A few months later when I went to play volleyball and the net was broken, so we played spikeball instead. Spikeball is a ton of fun. Even if I look dumb and awkward playing it. I now have my own set.
Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk!
There’s a few neat lessons (hopefully learned) in your shared experience! Neat
look similar to paladins in terms of feeling and geting into.
Longest honeymoon - Puerto Rico.
If I"m not a Euro game lover, how to I get started? And don't say a shirt lol
Building walls? Sounds like Trump's second favourite game after Great Wall by Awaken Realms (if he only had any sort of reading comprehension) LOL
If only ! Hahahahahahahahaha
Heh, this game is pure example of just another euro )). Another cube pusher, but with some card "feature". But nowadays all euros have this "feature". The question is - do you like the style of Garphill Games euros? If do - so this is anoher one, if don't - after some plays you'll be bored )
So euros shouldn’t be produced anymore?… Only euro haters here? 🌚
@@ThiagoSilva-dv3ri I'm europlayer for about 75% ). Just triggered by the "uniqueness". According to this review - all euro now are unique and fantastic! And what for me - game without any unique features can still be excellent (Ark Nova, Clans of Caledonia, for example).
@@ThiagoSilva-dv3ri
I'm sure it was not a euro-hate comment
And I'm agree with it.
In the video guys have said that reviewed game is unique and not just another euro, yet they failed to provide convincing points to support this statement.
It still could be a good game, but this review smells fishy 🤔
@@vladimirshlapakov8033what euro uses cards you played prior to build the actions you take now?
NGL this looks incredibly boring. Not for me.
Looks like yet another garphill game. They're all the same, and I haven't liked a single one.
