It would be great if you had a back view so I could follow you and copy. I practice other forms (yang Chen sun wu) and would like to learn Wudang. However it’s too difficult for me to reverse transcribe the mirror image when your facing me. I can copy style easily when facing the same way. Also if you have back facing instructional video that would great. However many moves similar but need to follow complete flow from one to another. I’m 74 and use daily very slow jogging and tai chi to slow down inevitable decline as I age
This video is not meant to be instructional. It is more for reference for my students. I teach private lessons and also have classes through Patreon. (link in description) There are archived videos that teach this whole form.
Do you sell a dvd with a back view to follow the complete form? Too many teach with front view mostly. If you have dvd with simultaneous front and back view I will purchase it. My approach is carefully observe and follow and slowly learn complete form, a little at a time. Lots of practice and minimal extraneous spiel.
The number 108 is a little deceiving. Not all of the movements are named and many others are repeated quite a bit. This is the straight run-through of the entire form just a single time.
@@peterfarnsworth9495 It depends really. Mostly, it is about the basic training in the beginning. But either Ji Ben Quan (Basic Fist) for external or TaiJi 28 for internal. The simplest system and most beneficial system to learn early on is definitely the Five Animals Qigong.
❤❤ practicing with perseverance Shifu Jake.
Thank you so much!!!
Sensing the Qi, I am seeing your energy moving through the body !

How many repeats of this form did you do on this video? Seems longer than 108 movements?

thanks for the reply the difference in forms is quite interesting. What is the simplest form to learn in your opinion for a beginner?
