I have the border and flowers across the top done but not crazy with the colors & really would like to see your choice. I think I could be happier with this stitch and am struggling with it. I could say so many things about this flosstube but I would be writing a book. I'll try to keep it fairly short. I always love watching you two and this episode came at the perfect time. My best friend passed early this morning from breast cancer. Y'all are a great distraction. Kathy, thank you so much for speaking to us aida stitchers. In all honesty I would love to be able to stitch on linen, but for some reason, I just can't. I think I need in-person lessons! Molly, thank you for giving us "permission" to stitch on aida. I am so glad you showed "The Bluebirds of Happiness" on aida. I've had that pattern for quite some time and was afraid that aida wouldn't do it justice. Your stitching on this is beautiful. Hi Ladies. Molly I'd like to share something with you. When I started to stitch Aida was all there was and there certainly wasn't the selection there is now. I stitched with a group of very accomplished stitchers who stitched solely on linen so I felt very pressured to do the same. As time passed I enjoyed stitching less and less until I started watching your videos and saw the gorgeous work you do on Aida. I feel like you have given me permission to go back to Aida which I have done. I am now loving my stitching again and enjoying all the beautiful Aida fabrics available now. Thank you and don't ever feel 'less than' if you chose not to stitch on linen. Your work is beautiful and the joy you experience stitching is written all over you. Thanks again.
I totally agree…stitch on the fabric that is best for you and enjoy every X. I try to stitch as many sizes and fabric types as I can find on my flosstube so judgement is immediately set aside. As always, fantastic video.

Oh, you guys, I just love you! I went to the Attic for the first this past April while in town visiting family and Molly! Molly, you will love it there! You MUST go! No shame in stitching on Aida!!! My husband waited very quietly and very patiently after I made him swear he would (😂) while I spent about an hour or two just taking it all in and shopping! It’s a wonderful place and I hope you and Kathy go soon! This community is so cool! So welcoming and supportive! I love your videos. You two are just so fun! ❤❤❤

Great video! I have stitched over 40 years. Stitch on what fabric that makes you happy. I stitch on Aida and linen but with aging eyes prefer Aida. I stitch samplers on Aida that are beautiful. Life is too short not to be happy. 😊

Great episode! Claudia owned the LNS in my town before she moved to Arizona. At that time she designed table toppers which were easy to stitch and became a staple in my stitching as we raised our young family. Claudia is such a wonderful asset to our community and I look forward to the time I might hear her talk about Bristol samplers.

Kathy, just an FYI… Claudia had a store called Dutch Treat Needlework in Livermore, CA and I think she closed it in 2002-2005. She probably had the Aida left from her store days LOL. She used to design bread cloths using Ann cloth and she had some really cute designs. After she closed the store she got into Bristols, especially after the discontinuation of Ann cloth 😊

This has been delightful! Took 4 sessions to get through it...couldn’t miss a minute. I too buy samplers for the sayings. Just finished Maria Casson which has one of the verses you read. A Saviors Praise is in progress on regular linen from JoAnn...not the expensive fancy linen...if it has a hole between threads, I'll stitch on it. Lol. God bless.

I totally agree…stitch on the fabric that is best for you and enjoy every X. I try to stitch as many sizes and fabric types as I can find on my flosstube so judgement is immediately set aside. As always, fantastic video.

WOW! Great Flosstube today! You two made me laugh and cry. Love you guys! That gift of the Aida just blew me away. Enjoy! There is nothing wrong with Aida and I can't believe someone said mean things about it. I stitch either on Aida or 28 or 32 count. I can't do more than that. And I use DMC! You guys stay the way you are, and Molly keep on stitching on Aida. I fly when I stitch on it. Now, I gotta go . . . you made me want to make cookies! Yum yum!

Oh, you guys, I just love you! I went to the Attic for the first this past April while in town visiting family and Molly! Molly, you will love it there! You MUST go! No shame in stitching on Aida!!! My husband waited very quietly and very patiently after I made him swear he would (😂) while I spent about an hour or two just taking it all in and shopping! It’s a wonderful place and I hope you and Kathy go soon! This community is so cool! So welcoming and supportive! I love your videos. You two are just so fun! ❤❤❤

Great video! I have stitched over 40 years. Stitch on what fabric that makes you happy. I stitch on Aida and linen but with aging eyes prefer Aida. I stitch samplers on Aida that are beautiful. Life is too short not to be happy. 😊

Oh My Goodness, You girls are so fun to watch. Loved seeing you again. So much to say, every time you talk I want to talk with you. First you have to know Those Cookies are so Awesome!! I split the recipe & added chocolate chips for my husband, well that's not happening again cause I Love the ones without the chocolate. Totally understand why it's hard to get those cookies to Kathy's house😁! I dream of going to the attic someday and I have never been on a retreat but if ya'll did one I would definitely give it a good try (don't wait to long, getting older by the min)😳! Great episode! Claudia owned the LNS in my town before she moved to Arizona. At that time she designed table toppers which were easy to stitch and became a staple in my stitching as we raised our young family. Claudia is such a wonderful asset to our community and I look forward to the time I might hear her talk about Bristol samplers.

Kathy, just an FYI… Claudia had a store called Dutch Treat Needlework in Livermore, CA and I think she closed it in 2002-2005. She probably had the Aida left from her store days LOL. She used to design bread cloths using Ann cloth and she had some really cute designs. After she closed the store she got into Bristols, especially after the discontinuation of Ann cloth 😊

This has been delightful! Took 4 sessions to get through it...couldn’t miss a minute. I too buy samplers for the sayings. Just finished Maria Casson which has one of the verses you read. A Saviors Praise is in progress on regular linen from JoAnn...not the expensive fancy linen...if it has a hole between threads, I'll stitch on it. Lol. God bless.
