This is quite interesting. I am a corporate web dev and I'd say my day to day looks quite different. I work on a single project for up to a few years at a time, so things like setting up sitemap aren't really a noticeable part of the work. Conversely I spend time on some stuff you don't mention like writing lots of different kinds of automated tests, Infrastructure as Code or doing technical design (our implementations are more varied in terms of technologies, I suspect, than when working in an agency that has a niche like Umbraco). Fundamentally it's still "building websites" but feels quite different to what you describe
Thanks for the insight. I haven't had that experience of being attached to one project for a long time. Yeah my experience is in an agency environment.
I really enjoy your channel. I love the fact that you set your mind to a goal and worked hard for it, then achieved it. Fantastic work dude. Well done.
Keep up the good work mate! I’m looking to transition from logistics management to web development and I’m hopeful I’ll become a full stack dev in a few years. Your vids have helped me stay focused, and they make me feel like getting a job in tech is more attainable and not as super complicated as a lot of other people make it sound.
These videos are amazing and so different to all those other programming videos that have been made countless times before. Keep up with these unique video ideas. You are genuinely a likable and interesting guy! This is exactly the kind of content an aspiring coder needs to watch.
Really appreciate it mate. Hard to know if the content is worthwhile when you're planning and making it so I'm glad people are thinking it's worthwhile 🙏
I saw your older videos. How was it learning c#? Was code academy solid for c# or chat gpt helped you the most in learning c#? Thank you and bless you!!

Yeah I want to demystify it a bit for everyone. Totally attainable if you put the work in. Full stack is a worthy goal!
Keep it up buddy, appreciate the inside look as an aspiring mid 30s career switcher myself. its helpful.
What are you wanting to switch from?

Very cool series. I am in the USA and looking to change careers from counseling.
Very doable. Best of luck

I'd say it was the Codecademy course that put me on the right path for C#. Chatgpt was more for help with specific problems while at work.
