Spain: Review For Digital Nomads (Southern Spain, 3 Month Stay)
In December I started a new life as a digital nomad and decided Spain, specifically Southern Spain, would be the place I'd spend my first three months. I work remotely in web development and was excited to begin my life as a DN, and I'm happy to report I had a great time on the whole.
I stayed in a couple of smaller towns/cities but across three different Airbnbs and definitely learnt plenty about what I want and don't want going forward.
In this video I go over my digital nomad experience and how I found the weather, the people, the food, the scenery, the wildlife - everything in Spain. I also talk about how things compare to back in the UK for me. Thanks for watching!

how did you get the discount
When I was using the site you couldn't miss the offer, it was a bit intrusive, all over the site and they'd send me emails all the time too
I'm still stuck on this problem wtfff
Could you make a video how you became a digital nomad?
What's the name of the extension
I never released it or anything. It was just part of the lesson on FCC.
Are you still active? Loved your content and story
Congratulations for your milestone bro! Keep up good work! I am my 2 or 3rd week in on harvards cs50 python. I wish to look back on this comment one day and know how bad i was and be happy at my future knowledge. Future me input: ( pending… )

Congratulations!

I don’t get it. I submitted my scratch game yesterday and I still don’t see a score for it. Just a green checkmark next to the week 0 submission
Hi bro, even I have the same doubt, pls help me out did u get the score on the scratch, started 4 days ago
Pls reply me 🙏
lol
I managed to do all of the "more comfortable" problems before this quite easily despite being completely new, but this one completely destroyed the ego I had built up. I had to just look up a solution for the lock_pairs function. I had a lot of correct instincts about it, but I just COULDN'T figure out how to get things together to actually work despite staring at it for like 10 hours.
Why stopped sharing your experience?
Congratulations brother 😄✨ Keep going!!🎉
can you please give me this code bro 😅
I’m super confused by what you’re doing. I did it with three loops a few self incrementing ternary operators.
Did you learn from Freecodecamp? Im learning from them right now. I've learned more from them then I did in two semesters of college.
nice job!
Hello im a beginner im stock at cat photo url
Freecodecamp is goated
I mean… day 94? It’s the problem set ONE! What did u do 93 days prior ?
only 10% of devs are now needed
Very nice man keep it up
Give me the source code
How do you not get a 100% im not trying to be mean but doesnt it autocheck it.
That substitution task should be a cakewalk, if you completed caesar
Have you got a job now
Hello sir! I'm currently stuck on Tideman and just looked for opinions on it. I saw that some consider it to be the most difficult pset of the CS50, I don't know if it gives me relief or more pain xd Thank you for your content. Save the code :)
thank you for your service lol but i felt so annoyed watching this because i basically had the logic and the same skeleton of code down but there were about two things i was doing wrong and changing those simple things made it work lmao
1. Liked it, 2. Waiting for the next one 😊
Do you recommend Codecademy?
Goals !
what are the udemy courses you took on web dev ?
I took one on next.js. I didn't enjoy it unfortunately
What a great insight, good video.
Honestly the credit one belongs to the next lecture(wich is arrays), because without you knowing that you can just use a string array to make things way easier its just so hard.
The point was solving it without arrays 😅
I thought week 1 was hard, too. Ive only really used python a bit before, i have no idea how many hours i spent on w1p, but in my experience u just keep trying and u get there. Id guess i spent 10hrs on it 😂
kudos bro. i know ive seen your longer vids before so pardon me if youve said this in another video but how many hours per week do you think you studied in that 8 month period? cheers!
It really varied on how much time I had that day and how motivated I felt. Anywhere from 3-8 hours a day.
@@code_questing 3-8 hours a day thats a large variance, haha, but right on!! That's commitment man. Thank you for your response. My current goal is 20 hours a week and I'm expecting to be "able to" start applying for jobs 6 months from now. Thanks for the encouraging channel that you have!
The massive oversaturation of software development and software engineering is plainly brutal. I've never seen something like this before. On LinkedIn, most tech jobs have hundreds of applicants after just a few hours. The only way to succeed is by having strong networking and being in the top 1%. Otherwise, consider changing careers.
Kudos 🎉🎉
Never stop friend
This is an encouragement and not a reality video.
So proud of youuu🎉
congrats 🎉
congrats 🎉
How long did it take you to finish cs50?
How is it day 94 but you are still on week 1? If you wanna learn real CS I recommend SICP or Haskell programming from first principles. CS50 is garbage.
I'm stuck on less comfortable Mario. C is like Python written by a mad man.. LOL
What is this useful for?
Validation checks
There is still a lack of good and experienced developers, but I've seen a huge rise in influencers selling it as a "get rich quick" thing
Agreed. I don't think a lot of people starting don't know what they're getting into 😂
learn an unsexy language. I get paid $230/hour to write COBOL. (but don't expect that right away I am a senior developer)
I do love the idea of this. I also just saw the guy who runs Scrimba is offering jobs to anyone who learns Imba...
