This area has a great mixture of places to eat and shopping 'experiences'. There is also plenty of greenery and plants. 44 Stanley Street is a wonderful place to relax and chill out. Many tradionalists still love to read books and there is also a library. Traditional 'recordings' are making a come back as many hear a different 'quality' from that of a cd recording. Are there any professional 'recording' studios in Johannesburg. I know that Darius Brubeck moved to Durban. Are there 'professional' musicians with roots in Johannesburg and where would you hear them performing. Thank you for this video.
04:55 -This looks "baie lekker" for sure. 05:48 - I'd like to have a seat at the table right now and try some chakalala. If they don' have any, a juicy South African gatsby would do as well. And then some malva pudding before we go. 06:00 - As I love to listen to South African music (all its genres and languages actually), I would stay in there for hours until they would ask me to leave. On the other hand, I do not habe a vinyl record player. :-D

There are plenty of places in Johannesburg that are unique and clean. Especially if you remove the lenses of ignorance.
