He will never stop because he experienced that it does not have any consequences on his life, especially when the wife stays beside him. it is as if he’s been forgiven for cheating without consequences. it is the same when women forgive men who are violent against them over and over again. Staying with him means that either she has distance herself emotionally from him and stays with him in the same house, because of the children. Or maybe because she didn’t suffer enough to get out of the marriage which is only hurtful.. I couldn’t lay in bed with a my husband, knowing that he cheated on me over and over again.
