Wow I've never seen a watercolor pallet like that, that's so cool
That watercolour book is just amazing! It was like magic when it turned out to be the paint palette and not just colour options. I also didn't know that you could get masking fluid in pen form, that will definitely make any calligraphy pieces easier

I actually thought that the pallet was just a guide where you decide what colors to use but I was shocked when you used it. Like woah! That's awesome.

Saw the Molotow masking pen about a week ago and had to have it (and got a refill). I never thought to tape a sheet while IN my notebook, thanks so much for sharing this tip and your lovely project.

It looks like her paint palette is a diy version made from the Peerless Watercolor Sheets (linked in the supply list above). It looks like the palette is squares of the sheets glued to cardstock (maybe) with color names handwritten below.

Just beautiful. Do you squeeze the barrel of the brush while applying the color? This idea of hand lettering a quote and watercoloring the background would look great laminated in a planner as a dashboard!
No, no squeezing. It's sort of the same pen method as a paint pen

what the heck...never seen watercolor paints like that haha really cool!
I think I need to use a thicker layer AND get a gum(my) eraser. I just tried this and while it now seems to rub off better using my finger, I'll most likely end up with wicked bad blisters if I always removed the mask like that. I'll see if a thicker layer with work with the erasers I have for now.

The sentiment is true, and the artwork is fantastic! Were you ALWAYS doodling and drawing when you were a little girl? Did you play around with your handwriting at a young age to make it own? Just wondering. I've always been an admirer of pretty writing (both calligraphy & everyday lettering), and I always like seeing what you will do with your talent. :)

I just wanted to know what that board is called? The one you’re working on? The black one with the scale markings and stuff?
I bought the Molotow masking pen because I loved the effect it gave you. I've watcher this video a million times and am awed by how easily the fluid comes out of the marker for you. I haven't been able to get mine to come out with any steadiness to it and the fluid keeps drying on the tip. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you!
+Brittany Nicole When mine gets "gummy" and doesn't flow well, i wipe the tip with a baby wipe or wet cloth. then I pump the pen on some scratch paper to get the flow going again. Usually that resolves any issues. :)

HI! So I just brought the molotow pen and I love it, I'm just having with removal. Does the adhesive eraser work the best? I've been using a gum eraser and sometimes it smudges the water color and it's no quite as clean of a finish as I would like. Please let me know what you would recommend!
I have some Windsor and Newton art masking fluid for water colour. It's pretty old do you know if it goes bad? I was able to shake it back up. I tried it with a cheap water color brush and it just completely gunned it up. What am I doing wrong?

I brought both the thick and thin versions of this pen and love it, but im finding sometimes that the masking isnt rubbing off and is just melting into the paper - any idea why? Love your work as always, thanks for being a constant inspiration x
+Megan Pickard It depends on the paper. I've noticed that Molotow masking fluid doesn't work well on Strathmore watercolor paper, however it does great on Canson Montval. Try it on different papers and see what happens. :)
