The best part of my dearly departed father's hobby was building and fixing planes and helis over weeks months or years . the best part of my hobby is flight.
Tip from an old timer here, don't use 5 min epoxy in structural areas. It will not have enough time to properly soak into the wood to get a good bond. Use 15 min, or the best is 30 min. You can use a heat gun on the epoxy bottles to heat them up before mixing to get epoxy thinner.
Real simply, if the plane comes with electronics it is a PNP. Especially if they're already installed. If you need to supply your own electronics, ie, servos, motor, ESC, it is an ARF. There's always going to be some assembly required. Also, you should never use 5 min epoxy. Always use 30 min. The structural integrity of the plane may be compromised with 5 and 15 min epoxies. Check out any Extreme Flight planes and their online manuals if you have any doubt, or questions about how to build an ARF, or PNP for that matter.
Awesome video, Jay! I appreciate you pointing out the little mistakes throughout. Because, let's be honest, we ALL make 'em. Showing that stuff on this platform is a true to form display of how we all tend to work our own ways through an assembly like this. And thanks for not showing all of the profanity, if you're anything like me, you said when you realized you were re-hinging the elevator. I'm sure we've all been there in one form or another. Can't wait for the maiden 👍
Dude, you didn't even measure to check and see that the horizontal stab was straight before you marked it to cut the covering back, to glue it in. You got to measure that man from the tip of the wing to the tip of the horizontal stabilizer on each side and make sure both sides are the same measurement, so you know that the plane is square. Surely you know this information if you're flying RC planes..
Hi Jay WOW that’s one Beautiful Cessna I absolutely love your RC channel as far as I am concerned you have the best RC channel on the website blessings and Greeting’s from Canada sincerely ❤ Richard ❤❤❤❤
Definitely not PNP. Nice video! I saw or read a test about adhesives not long ago, and hot glue was better than epoxy in most applications. I believe it, because I've had some major failures with epoxy. I've sometimes wondered if hot glue or packing tape were better.
Nice looking plane but far from a PNP. Want a true PNP balsa airplane then look at some of the offereings from Extreme Flight RC and Skywing. I have put 3 different 67" planes from them now and all take roughly 30 minutes from opening the box to having it ready to fly.
You need to do lots of reading and learning before posting a demonstration video about assembling an art like this. You made so many rookie mistakes that you will surely have structural failure. Thr method on elevators was ridiculous.
Day 1 of me telling you to fuck off! Nothing is free in life. You have to work for everything you have. Never ask for, or expect hand outs. You have the wrong attitude, son. Don't be a free loader. Don't be a drag on our economy. Don't be a blight on our society. Grow up, get a job, be a man, and pay for your own shit.

Those CA hinges are trash. Ive had them rip so many times that I have given up on them with any balsa plane. I use the dubro hinges the flat ones for smaller planes and robart pin hinges for larger models. Screw those cheap ass CA hinges yall need to stop being lazy and put real hinges in there and gap seal your surfaces its worth the effort I promise!
The best part of this hobby isn’t just flying but building and fixing planes 😉😊
I have a lot to fix. Come hang and bring some glue 😂

same here
love fixing the big planes
Building is amazing but some folks enjoy flying the most. Especially with good people.
For some folks personaly i prefer flying more than building planes

this is wisdom, listen to it🤣
I agree ☝️

Can't wait to see it in the air!

Man.. Now I need a balsa, THANKS JAY 😅
ARF for sure. But i have had foamies that needed hinges and rudders to be glued sooooo....
Awesome Jay, looks like a ARF Plus Plus. I’ve got two balsa ARF’s to build and add to my hanger.
Awesome !! What you got.. Anything good ? Electric or Gas?
@@Jays_rcgarage both electric ⚡️ Hanger Nine J-3 Cub 40 80” and Nexa G-36 Sport 1580mm
Men. That is a beauty! To bad there are no LED to give it the perfect finish i.m.o.
Great install video🔥

NICE
Love this plane!! It flys amazing and as you said, super easy to build and go fly, nice work Jay👊🏼👊🏼
Woaaaah! You have one ? Thanks Jeff 🔥

My idea is: you must be install main wing first.
Balsa birds fly way better than foam. More rigid and stronger. easy to repair.
Basic old school building, rigging, etc
It’s a Plug & ARF
Arf
ARF.

First ❤ love ur vids
Nobody cares that you are first
@@Alexanderthegreat8595-s8j idc if people care I was just saying that I love his vids
Definitely NOT, PNP.
Definately NOT "PNP" This is an "ARF"!!!! PNP only needs the receiver and battery installed all other parts are completely ready to fly!!
Day 1 of asking for a free rc plane bc me and my family are to broke to buy one :(
Also the cessna looks beautiful

Oh wow.. 0:57 yeah thats not pnp...the moment you gotta glue or cut...its an ARF.
Why those clowns false advertise??
