Was expecting to see before and afters. For each light. Night testing and etc. but mainly just photos of packaging and repeated images over and over not knowing which bulb is which. Basically learned as much as reading the package of a bulb.
After trying lots of different things, I eventually settled for some basic Long Life bulbs. Human perception of brightness is logarithmic, rather than linear, which often means it would take a 4x increase in light output to perceive a 2x brightness increase. The brightness increases offered by higher efficacy bulbs is perceptibly brighter, but only just, and in my opinion, do not improve visibility
True but high performance bulbs aren’t just about brightness. That’s one side of the story that’s isn’t significant because they have to stay within strict regulations. The beam pattern is altered to get more punch downroad and to the sides, these cannot be measured by lux or lumen meters but with super expensive optical lighting equipment.
Your list doesn't match the links. you got them backwards. For number 7 You said HELLA but listed the Number one link and every other link follows the same pattern. The only correct link is Number 4 because it's exactly in the middle from 1-7. So switch 1-3 with 5-7. 1=7. 2=6. 3=5. 4 is correct.
got the Osram and one of them stopped working after 3 months, second was gone after 4.5 months. my h7 bulbs that came with the car lasted 5 years. i just don't get it, what should i buy next :(
I'm actually looking for a 9005HB3 & 9006HB4 replacement. Deciding between Phillips crystal vision vs Sylvania silverstars ultra so this video hit the mark. Thanks !
@@mayasmax I actually found a set of 9005 Sylvania Silverstars for my high beams ($30 on ebay) and for the lows I went with 9006 GE Nighthawk Platinums ($23 on Amazon) Im really happy with both sets so far.. knock on wood lol they both have a bright white tone to them and are super bright. The Nighthawks a very bright lowbeam, I saw a lot of places ranked them the best for amount of light they put out.
Yes, I've been buying these for all my vehicles (from walmart) and they only last maybe 3 months. And they are expensive and tough to change out on a few of the vehicles.
im trying to find a 9007 socket bulb thats better than my originals in the fixtures now. i drive an old 95 ford explorer with the 90s style refraction lens headlights. anyone know of a halogen bulb that can give off a cool white light that you would see in a 4000k led bulb in a house light?
What the dumbest comparison here! You cannot compare halogen between different type. Any 9006 bulb is rated about 1000 lumens, HIR2 or 9012 is 1875 lumens, H1 or H7 is 1500 lumens, and 9005 is about 1500 lumens. The brightest type halogen is HIR1/9011 that is used for high beam, 2500 lumens.
my gaawwddd its late as hell at night, would you get to a point,my ass hurts from sitting here so long, just pick one,i quit im going to bed,i will just use the old school yellow lens's with dead bug guts that i have
I’ve used them all, Philips just don’t last (4month). The best one I’ve used so far are the new Osram laser. +150. They are cheaper and last a lot longer, I’ve had 4 in my caddy full and low beam and we coming up on 20 months!! The light is very good as well….. not like the ‘Empty’ light the LED’s put out…. Not much photons apparently and the frequency that they flash at is harmful to eyes and sleep patterns in the brain!!!
Did the reviewer travel to the future to give us a review from 2024?
Was thinking the same
Im telling you

There ok for night time driving............when do you think I use them
What an amazing graphic quality in your video, I literally couldn't see shit
What is your best recommendation for a 9005 halogen bulb in a projector housing?

Used the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras-lasted only 3 months. Thats a lot of money for that short life.
Gah, I’m so worried bout wasting money on a crappy light 😭

Useless tech spec and marketing material read out aloud. Waste of time.

seems to me like just buch of copypasted promo photos and random clips. It's not review. It's amazon list of most saled bulbs. Just clickbait video.
Night braker 200%, strongest hallogen of all.
Not really i had them in my 2020 Kia Sorento SX. And i found the Silverstar Ultra's to be FAR superior both high and low beam.
@@tomtalker2000 Duration Silverstar Ultra ?
