In the scene “homies are pissed off” stands for one direction and how they were upset about his decision to leave the band. “Eyes on you everywhere” stands for how publicized the whole ordeal was and how everyone was waiting to see what he would do next. “Mud on the streets” stands for how he was treated and how nobody liked him for his decisions. “You don’t know me” signified how until recent years nobody knew how the band or him was treated and how he was slowly suffering by continuing to be in the band.
This is my favorite album, really if you listen to the full album it is just another level, I never had the feelings I have when I listen to Icarus Falls before with another album. Maybe because Zayn is my favorite artist, he is really one of the best artists out there.❤️❤️
