Personally, I love the entire album so much so it's kinda hard to pick 3 because the more I listen, the more they will change, but for now, my top 3 are: 1) Sweat 2) Outside 3) River Road
So beautiful. I even told myself that if ever it'd play while i'm meeting someone i know or someone new, if that particular lyrics "something told me it was you" plays, i'd take it as a sign that that person i was meeting is actually my soulmate. It's crazy ik but that's how that song makes me feel.
Him being a dad has nothing to do with this album and it would be very nice and appreciated if yall stopped making being a dad a part of his personality. He’s more than that
I always appreciate zayn's urdu verses in his songs because in the west you don't hear about it that much being that mainstream. And it is also a part of his identity being half white and half Pakistani even after discrimination he faced whilst he was in the group.
@@itsmejunubasnet8126 theres a picture in zayns book that shows the track list to mind of mine before it was finalized. I think that's where they got it from
My reaction to sweat was the same as yours. It’s a HIT. Tightrope had the best “feel” and I gotta agree with you, he’s found himself. Great reaction y’all.
27:44 "Why not just fall" hahah that comment is actually funny bc Zayn says in another song that he doesn't mind falling is it means that he gets to fly again, which is so sweet, cause we all have our reservations when it comes to loving someone again, but he says it like the risk of pain and loneliness are worth it bc he has found the one, idk.
24:34 you're right, he actually talked, in the vogue interview that he did , about how much he's influenced by hip hop , RnB and rap music cuz thats what he listened to when he was younger . Great reaction!!
I really enjoyed listening to you disect this album. No other reaction I've listened to on this particular album has broken it down so well, lyrically and sonically. I was particularly listening to the lyrical connections you were making and they made a lot of sense. I was puzzled about some of the lyrics and you kind of cleared some of it out. So thank you. I too feel this is Zayn 's best album so far. Stripped down, vulnerable and very honest and raw.
Finally someone noticed the connection between songs and the story I really appreciate how you try to understand the meaning of each song Amazing reaction❤️👏
Thanks for paying attention to the lyrics bcuz most of the people focus on his vocals and as much as amazing his vocals are he is a genius lyricist and artist. And I love when people appreciate that side of him
The sweat comment abt it reminding you of mind of mine, this song and windowsill were actually listed as songs that could’ve been on the album, so yes it was from the mind of mine era
Okh so the tightrope has a bridge which is a verse of classic Bollywood song..nd it literally gave me chills...I wasn't expecting it nd 😭😭I'm crying rn..😭 I love how he always includes his cultural roots in it..❤️
I actually loved this reaction, each song interpretation was very thoughtful and even made me think about some things that I hadn't even thought about after listening to the album about a thousand times haha, so yeah this was great!!
I really loved your reaction and review as well. I loved how you explained what your interpretation of each song was. Such a great reaction. I love this album. Zayn's on a whole another level!
You guys have done an amazing job here!!!!!! Loved how you analyzed and interpreted the whole album. I mean it makes a whole lot more sense to me now. I am really glad i watched this video. I really appreciate your effort coz you didn't just listen to it for the sake of it, PURE SATISFACTION.
I have watched your reactions when album come out, but forgot to write this, you are right Zayn grew up listening RnB music, usher is one of his favourite growing up, boys to men, Chris brown, MJ and many RnB singers and rappers, that is the type of music he grew up listening to as his father is huge RnB fan. He said he grew up RnB music many interviews while he was in the band and as solo artist, when he auditioned X Factor his audition song was let me love by Mario
YES. And Zayn mentioned in a recent radio interview that his upcoming projects will delve further into the RnB route. He is so unbothered by the pressure to sound the cookie cutter way artist are expected to sounds these days, with trendy beats that makes you stay on top of charts but the song ultimately never really touches the listener. Doing music from the heart produces actual good music, that we can go back to again and again.
Great thoughts on the reaction! Tough to pick three. Like it so much as a body of work. Before Zayn I never thought much of the order of songs and why they were placed where they were. His albums make so much more sense when the songs are listened to in the order he placed them.
I really enjoyed yoir reaction & it's a very consistant album with the r&b base but different influence too ( pop, hip hop, country, jazz...) i still can't pick 3 favs but on the first listen it was Outside Tightrope River road Calamity Sweat
Damn I wanted to look at other people's reaction after I filmed my reaction to this album. This was truly beautiful.. you guys sat down and broke down everything in a methodical way X.
Zayn is amazing and I loved your review. The album is so cohesive. Sweat is #1. 2. Connextion and River rd. 3. Outside & Unfucwithable. The bass line in that song is serious. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This made me subscribe! The both of you pick up on so many different things either on lyrics, vocals or sonically plus the paying heed to the sequencing and of course the genuine reactions were so nice and refreshing 🤩 30mins well spend, looking forward to more!
So tightrope is partly based from Hindi/Urdu music and the Verse he sang in Hindi is a very famous and iconic song from the legendary singer Mohammad Rafi
besties!! could you react to zayn's audio called "yellow metal"? It is a rap that talks about many interesting things such as racism, politics, industry, personal improvement, self-esteem, etc. Your fans would be very grateful to you
Enjoyed how you interpreted this album and each songs. Wonderful review 🥺💙 thank you for listening nil. P.s : listen to seventeen's semicolon and you made my dawn ( it's track, hug is one of the best comforting songs out there) both album's songs are great lyrics as well! 🥺 would love to see review of it but if you can't that's okay too!

tightrope truly is so beautiful
It is. Totally different from the others, and never ever would I have guessed he has it in him to make a love song this beautiful.
That is just so soft and sweet
with hindi lyrics in it❤❤❤🥺🥺🥺
@@amanprasad7965 urdu verse dude!!

It's crazy ik but that's how that song makes me feel.
That album is so him, like amazing. He's a dad now, in a new part of his life, and I'm so proud of him for finding himself.
Him being a dad has nothing to do with this album and it would be very nice and appreciated if yall stopped making being a dad a part of his personality. He’s more than that
I don't know about the dad part yeah very irrelevant
Bro Zayn is a True Artist. This Album showed a story from Start to finish, Im happy that he is finally making the music he loves❤🔥
I always appreciate zayn's urdu verses in his songs because in the west you don't hear about it that much being that mainstream. And it is also a part of his identity being half white and half Pakistani even after discrimination he faced whilst he was in the group.
Yup and he owns his Pakistani side as much he owns his English side.
Desi king💪Never forget the roots
That song is Indian, Urdu is North Indian language and these Pakistani people are taking the credit.😏
@@not_intruder_ Ayyyoo its our national language
@@not_intruder_ Also, could we just appreciate his music for fucking once
Sweat was written for mind of mine but wrong was preffered nd now he finally recorded it for nobody is listening
How do you know?
@@itsmejunubasnet8126 theres a picture in zayns book that shows the track list to mind of mine before it was finalized. I think that's where they got it from
he definitely has r&b and hip hop influence!! he has said it many times , thats the music he grew up with.
I LOVED THE WAY YOU GUYS INTERPRETED THE LYRICS
nobody is listening is just a masterpiece, like all the things that zayn does!!
zayn was the one harmonizing with himself on tightrope
Probably one of the best reactions i've seen for the album. y'all were so great. glad you loved the album, zayn gave us an album with no skips, truly!
Omg yesssss i 100% AGREE
TIGHTROPE with URDU is a MASTERPIECE
21:17 “They carry the same weight in the sense of consistency of enjoyment” 😂😂😂 man went into the vocabulary bag
Deadass😫love it
i had to search deep in that bag. i honestly don't know what was in my juice when we filmed this
-Jullian
Everyone felt weird when they hear the high note for connexion. It's just cuz of the melody and Zayn wanted to give that vibe when we listened.
My reaction to sweat was the same as yours. It’s a HIT. Tightrope had the best “feel” and I gotta agree with you, he’s found himself. Great reaction y’all.
sweat really should have been the lead single even tho i love better and vibez!!
@@pallavisubramanian same.. I hope it's picked as the next single.. Damn would love to see a video for that
27:44 "Why not just fall" hahah that comment is actually funny bc Zayn says in another song that he doesn't mind falling is it means that he gets to fly again, which is so sweet, cause we all have our reservations when it comes to loving someone again, but he says it like the risk of pain and loneliness are worth it bc he has found the one, idk.
This album is so cohesive! He really excels in this r&b lane!!!
So truee
This reaction was actually so immaculate and made me appreciate the album more than I already did
ooooooh immaculate! I'm need to start using that word more often
-Jullian
One word to describe your reaction the whole vid :- “ eargasm”
Connexion might just be the connection between the 2 halves of the album.
the whole album is just wow
I like how you guys try to understand the meaning of each song and which part you enjoyed the most 👏 such a great review!
Exactly.. Instead of focusing on just the sexy side
This Album is fire🔥
sweat and windowsill were actually written for mind of mine thats why they sound so similar haha
By far, the most insightful and great reaction of this album!
Sweat is my favorite, don’t understand the lyrics but that’s zayn bro he’s all about vocals
24:34 you're right, he actually talked, in the vogue interview that he did , about how much he's influenced by hip hop , RnB and rap music cuz thats what he listened to when he was younger . Great reaction!!

Thanks for paying attention to the lyrics bcuz most of the people focus on his vocals and as much as amazing his vocals are he is a genius lyricist and artist. And I love when people appreciate that side of him
r&b is the best kind of music and zayn did great in his album
The sweat comment abt it reminding you of mind of mine, this song and windowsill were actually listed as songs that could’ve been on the album, so yes it was from the mind of mine era
Bruh- I love your guy's reviews! I love how you guys analyze everything so genuinely, anyway stream NIL 😌
This album is such a masterpiece. Every track is excellent, I love it!
I got emotional somehow 🥺 ... actually i know why it’s completely normal when I listen to his angelic voice
I have seen 6 to 7 review videos of NOBODY IS LISTENING but this one is the best and it's so deep how these two discuss each and every track 🤘🤘
I love the way you guys analyse the lyrics in depth 🥺
Does like anybody find windowsill similar to post Malone vibe
Yes! or it also gives off similar vibes to bottom bitch by doja cat
Didn't even think of that, but now that you mention Post Malone... it does 🤯
Okh so the tightrope has a bridge which is a verse of classic Bollywood song..nd it literally gave me chills...I wasn't expecting it nd 😭😭I'm crying rn..😭 I love how he always includes his cultural roots in it..❤️
river road is so underrated🥰

I loved how you explained what your interpretation of each song was.
Such a great reaction.
I love this album. Zayn's on a whole another level!
Love how he puts his all in his music and u can find out his persona within it like you pointed out usher's influence which he has himself admitted to
riverroad will forever be my favourite song
Everyone watching him and he is famous as a celebrity, but people don't appreciate him as a musician, hence nobody is listening
