with this dark techno jam, which was inspired by underground techno you typically hear in Berlin underground clubs like Berghain, I want to show you how dark and evil the Syntakt can sound on its own.

I spent many years on electribes and Im bored with them now, thinking about getting a Syntakt to switch things up. This video might be the final straw that will make me get it.

I started on the Electribe, too. Believe me, making beats on the Syntakt is much more fun and offers way more sequencing and sound design options. It's an upgrade you won't regret.

@@wolfgang_grows I dont like the electribe 2, I meant the old ESX and EMX. They are great machines, even though they have their quirks. I really want to explore the elektron workflow though and the Syntakt seems like the best all in one groove box so Im going to pull the trigger on it.

kinda have to agree here, Berghain techno is way darker and without cheesy melodies, but still a great job pulling that out of one machine only
