Thanks for this. I already bought the cheap LED strip, but I'll now buy the better products. My layout has two levels, and I have excellent ambient lighting in the room, so my initial thinking was that I don't need more focused lighting on the second level. Bill's oservations make me think that I should install a valence and LED strips on the second deck.

WOW! What an excellent seminar! This gives me a great place to start with my new layout. I would love to see a similar presentation on installing the lighting so that you can dim and do morning lighting, eveing lighting, etc. Thank you!

Thank you for doing this presentation. I learned a lot about LED strip lighting.

Perfect program for where I am at right now. I have been using 4000K LED bulbs behind my valance both screw sockets and tubes. Love the bright look. These work great around the room walls where the valance hides the bulbs. Now, I have a large peninsula that is wide and will be open. If I do the same thing on the peninsula as I did around the walls, you will see the light source from across the peninsula. I like the LED strips as they are thin in width. I will need a baffle down the center I suppose. My question is, will the LED strips I put on the peninsula be as bright as the LED bulbs I used around the walls? I want uniformity. - Jeff Smith, Manheim, PA
