How many people attended this concert? I always find it kinda sad that the Japanese crowd doesn't really participate as much with Dave, though he tries to make contact with them. (At least it seems to me that way)
It sounds more like there was no effort to record the crowd. I get the feeling that what you can hear of them is what's being picked up by the vocalists' mics (which are designed to have a short range), so anything at all could actually indicate a decent crowd. I've been involved with recordings where a packed-out place was absolutely jumping, but no crowd mic and you can barely hear anything from them. No comment on whether this crowd was a good one or not, though!
Eurobeat still has a bit of a cult following in Japan it seems. Dave Rodger's most recent concerts still pack some clubs at least a hundred or so people judging from more recent live vods.
That's why when most eurobeat is performed live, they'll just play the studio version and sometimes remove the vocals. This kinda sounds like a mediocre rock concert, but Giancarlo just has some much charisma and stage presence that it's hard not to like it anyways. I don't know about Nuage though...
@@Vectrex4Life I think that there are some sound settings to fix (raise the guitar and decrease voices for example). Moreover, the singers should train using a microphone linearly or the equipment is low cost.
Yeah. I think they are on budget. Additional : i think this kind of setup is not suitable because eurobeat has a many load of synths. But i still like this one though. But performing eurobeat live requires a lot of money.

I'm pretty sure the crowd was cheering. The audio mixing makes it only focus on the audio from the live performance, not the crowd as well.
