    Hi Ashley! Thanks so much for putting together such a detailed and informative video :) I also really liked your video on doing an M.Arch with a non-related undergrad degree. Are there any tips you can share on portfolios for a non-architecture student hoping to follow an M.Arch program? Thanks again!

    Hi Ashley,
    I really liked your tips on this video!
    What do you recommend for someone with a more technical background who didn't go through so much in the process of creation and didn't keep the drawing files from previous companies?
    I'm struggling with finding material of what I did to show in my portfolio...
    Thanks!

    Hi! I just came across your videos, there are amazing, so helpful for me. I'm heading to be an UBC's or UofT's International undergrad architecture student... What do you think is the most essential aspect to work on in your application? (They just admit 50 students) how you could be authentic and impress them?

    • @ArchitecturewithAshley
      @ArchitecturewithAshley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Simon, appreciate the feedback 😊 I'm happy to hear the content is helpful. I would recommend all the tips in the video as essential elements to consider. Hello Ashley,
    This is another great video. I kinda had a question if an architectural professional is applying at firms in Canada, do they prefer to see more academic work or professional in your portfolio if the person has 2-3 years of experience?

    • @ArchitecturewithAshley
      @ArchitecturewithAshley  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lakshya! Thank you 😀For a professional portfolio I would focus on providing more professional experience projects that illustrate your skills and experience and limit the academic work if possible (1-2 projects).

    This is not related to portfolios but can I work in a licensed architect office without having a certification from cacb knowing that am an architect from Algeria ?

    • @ArchitecturewithAshley
      @ArchitecturewithAshley  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jfk Hfz! Great question, to work in an architecture office you don't need to have CACB certification or be a Canadian licensed Architect. When you're looking for job, I would recommend to look at the job post requirements since within the post the employer typically outlines the educational and certification requirements. Some jobs may require a licence but many don't, a bachelor or even a collage education is sufficient. I have a video with some job tips that might help; th-cam.com/video/ULowG6EfVxo/w-d-xo.html
