Hi, I've used 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Photoshop extensively! :)
Do you use another visualisation program except for vray for sketch up? and if you only use vray was that a problem for MVRDV to accept you for the internship?

I used 3ds Max with V-Ray for my visualizations. At the office, we worked with Rhino along with V-Ray or Enscape. Even though I didn't know Enscape before my internship, it was easy to pick up, especially if you're familiar with V-Ray.
