As a cycling fan, Gaby had the opportunity to look behind the scenes of the successful Mapei professional team during the Paris-Tours classic in the late 1990s.

You can feed 200 birds on the same mixture and the same pigeons will turn up every week. So is it pigeon or the food. Feeding me best steak and feeding Usain Bolt bread and butter will still have the same result. So called ace pigeon flyers tend to house hundreds of pigeons and over 90%are useless being fed exactly the same has the good ones. Food manufacturers would have you believe in father Christmas.
