The pictures of this device are really impressive and I love the camera combination. Finally, decent sensors and lenses on all cameras and no bullshit 2, 5 or 8 MP sensor. To Samsung (and Oppo): The problem with the moon photos, in my opinion, is not that they are enhanced or supplemented via AI Model, but the way of marketing: Samsung makes it look in its marketing material as if the camera is so good that it can shoot 100x zoom photos in blatant resolution. But it is important to know that objects that do not have an AI training set will not look good either. So the camera itself is not capable of shooting high quality 100x photos, only the camera & software combination. It is still impressive that this is possible, but also slightly misleading how it is advertised. If Oppo doesn't advertise it or advertises it differently, then I don't see a problem.
Got to love the circular effect! I think well done in terms of design! Sadly no hands on for me but hey can't have all the 1" sensors haha, that periscope upgrade is amazing!
Finally, I was waiting for your review after seeing you in other reviewers' videos 😁 this camera module is a beast. And the periscope blows my mind. I wish it was offered globally though 😔
I nearly bought an X5 pro the other day but I’m not sure I want android and if I do I have a lot to choose from. My last android was a Huawei P10 and it crapped out in about a year. Was a good phone while it worked.
I really don't mind a thicker camera portion of the phone as long as the increased photo quality justifies it. Plus you can rest your finger under the edge to support the phone.
With the whole Western/US aggression towards them, they are focusing on themselves ..they have enough market for their product in their country ..hypocrite Westerners
Can you do a further video on this and a complete comparison with the s23 Ultra. I've got the s23 Ultra and thinking of importing this but not sure how much better it is. Would be great to see a video on your thoughts on the moon shots and recent controversy.
The oppo find x6 pro supports 4K30fps for the Selfie cam btw😉. Also it gets 4 years of Android and 5 years of saftey Updates. I Imported it to Switzerland and all features work fine. 5g, Volte, vowifi etc.
Yes they are due two more updates before release software so I hope they fix the HDR. But Apple is struggling with that one, so may not be as easy as it seems.
@The Tech Chap, wished brands would bring back the very powerful Xenon Flash. It was amazing and far superior to the LED one we have now and super bright for night photography in very dark places. Can you do a comparison with the s23 Ultra.
This phone has stunning photographic capabilities. A shame that it's video abilities are not at the same level, but it will not be available outside China so why lose any tears over this.
Hey Tom! What's the experience like of getting GMS and Google Play on there? With Honor and Huawei it's so janky and is really just a workaround rather than a solution, I'm wondering if Oppo has better support and if the experience is more well-rounded. Thanks!

The sensors on the ultrawide and telephoto are the exact same size as the main sensor on the S23 and S23+ . Best camera hardware on a phone money can buy at the moment .

as s23u user... nope it din't drool me a bit just judging by the samples..... the 200mp is still the best out there.... i was at the beach one time and i was at the roof top... took a photo of the beach with people doing whatever at 200mp.... when i tried to pinch out the taken pic i was so surprised that i could see so many details... i can even see those things beneath the shadows and yea girls on their best dresses lol....
If u are doing a battery test on multiple phones please include some older phones or figures for reference. My samsung note 10 plus lasts forever, even after 3.5yrs!

Wondering why Oppo sended this device to so many reviewers around the world if they are going to only sell this phone exclusively in China. This makes no sense
I said in a previous reply that they are testing the reaction to see if they could make money. Their margins are small, as this sells for about $800 in China, and if people dislike it then they will not bother. Overall too many people dissing the front camera, so I suspect that is the nail in the coffin of a global release.
@The Tech Chap If I was a developer I'd bring back the Xenon Flash as it was very powerful and especially in night photography and it was a huge mistake to discontinue it but I know it was to do with the amount of battery it uses but batteries on phones are much better now. Please do a comparison with the s23 Ultra. Many thanks 😊
With the moon shot what did your eyes see? Only You/ the composer knows if it's accurate, we all know it can't be 100% accurate but if it's even close to what samsung is doing its a great tool to have.

You did not mention it is blowing the highlights on almost every photos you showed. They need to update the hdr processing.
