    I got up with my husband every single day and made him breakfast and packed his lunch for 15 years. He started intermittent fasting so then I started sleeping in which was helpful for me as a mother of five little girls within six years. I was able to go through all five of our girls on cloth diapers and almost all of them made it! I was then able to gift our diapers to a church friend and she was able to use them for her kiddos.

    You're doing a great job, then and now! I was a stay at home Mom of 8 children, 13 years apart from 1992 to 2005. It truly is the most rewarding life experience and I wish more Moms would and could stay home to raise their babies!

      I was a stay at home Mom with just 2 children. It was by far the hardest yet most rewarding job I have ever had. It was such a blessing that I never take for granted. My children are both grown and married and now I am full time caregiver for my 2 year old. Granddaughter.

      I was a stay at home mom, and gave birth to our first son 40 years ago. Three years later I gave birth to our second son. I can honestly say that I would do it all again!! ❤ I did not go back to work until our youngest was in 3rd grade. Fortunately I was able to work while the children were at school, and I picked them up from school every day. After school we would all go home to have snack time, then homework began. I cherish those years ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    It's amazing to see you've been this stay at home Wonder Woman for so long! It makes me angry to think about people who complain about how hard it is with one or two children, when people like you are living proof that a good heart and a strong work ethic can achieve amazing things.

    • @caitlinlorea912
      @caitlinlorea912 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t judge others for what their hard might be. We have no idea what other people might be going through. Everyone’s hard is different. This is why Christ is the ultimate judge and not ourselves.

      They are still valid moms and parents for having one or two kids.

      @@caitlinlorea912 Im not saying theyre better or worse people or that people who struggle make me angry, Im saying specifically the people who complain about how hard having a small family is. its like someone saying 'this sport is too hard, etc..' instead of putting in more time/effort.
      While I agree 100% with the Christ being the ultimate judge, a lot of people will claim to be overwhelmed when in reality, theyre not willing to put in the effort

    • @caitlinlorea912
      @caitlinlorea912 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pepperpeterpiperpickled9805 but how do you know what effort they are putting in? How do you know what their day to day looks like? Why can’t they have a hard time too? Just because they have fewer kids doesn’t mean it can’t be hard. We never know what people are going through and it just seems like it’s a lot of judgement on what people are doing. If someone is having a hard experience and they are saying that then just let them say that, instead of coming and judging someone for how hard you perceive they are working.

    • @pepperpeterpiperpickled9805
      @pepperpeterpiperpickled9805 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@caitlinlorea912 You can tell a tree by the fruit it produces/ you can discern "whining" from "struggling". Obviously if someone has a situation considered 'easier' relative to my life, but they seem overwhelmed by their life, that's not an indictment on them. If someone is not what Bonnie from Outnumbered: the podcast' would consider an 'intentional parent', and they complain about nonsense, then seeing people like Jessica who're living proof that there's no excuse for not putting in the effort, if they have or they are, then its not aimed at them.

    I think the most SHOCKING thing was how much Gabe looks like Adam! Seeing Adam stand at the kitchen counter and live on the baby, at first my brain wanted to think it was Gabe. So that was fun. You wore your hair longer, but still wore a head covering. And several other things were just fun to see. So yes, more of these would be interesting to see. Especially if it meant an extra video each week. LOL

      The not listening thing is the toughest for me too, and I've never had more than 2 that were ages 3 and under, because my 6 are all between 2-3 years apart, so I can't imagine.
      I think the best advice I was ever given was to enjoy my children every day, even on the hard days. That was given to me by a fellow shopper when I was at the grocery store with a newborn and his older 4 siblings at the time. I've tried to keep that in mind, especially on the hard days.
      God bless you and lend you His strength and grace as you raise those precious little blessings 💖

    This was fun, thank you. Something that so many people do, and I have to chuckle a bit, is think that they need to put their face so close to a newborn's face, at times, when talking/interacting with eye contact to eye contact. (I'm not referring to Momma's nursing time, or someone offering a little kiss) Imagine if someone put their face only inches away from our face to interact with us. 😊 we'd be like ... whoa ... please back up a bit. But it's a sweetness and people all over do it.

My oldest is also almost 16. I was just telling my older kids I didn't know how I used to manage before they were older. They love holding the baby and helping occupy the 3 year old. Such a gift they each are. ❤️I used to baby wear a lot more in those early motherhood years as well.
