Wanna get into GOAT format because at some point because newer stuff is just too much to keep track of lol. So glad this at least exists for people like me!
I love GOAT format! I'd really love if Konami leaned into it more and offered whether it be exclusive GOAT packs with alt artworks and rarities, or something like rarity bumps of GOAT cards in random boosters like the starlight inserts.
My local shop has been starting to host GOAT and Edison format nights, it makes me want to make a real paper deck for those nights. It’s not common for a format to be relatively diverse that there’s so much to solve years later.
I play goat format with my friend Mark literally every single time we get to hang out it’s always goats. He got me into that. I recently gods, my secret rare graceful, Charity. Still working on getting higher rarities of cards. It’s a very fun format.
GOAT format was always something I wanted to get into because I remember playing a scuffed version of it with my friends back in the day. It'd be interesting to see how much of the strategies we used back then lined up with the established GOAT meta.
Goat format is so fun and easy to pick up if you've been out of ygo for years! Edison is up there as well, there are a decent amount of good classic formats
Goat is fine , but it is really slow and it doesn't really take much skill It's just who draws the broken spells 1st stuff like potagraphicabulgarity delinquent duo Snatch steal.... Personally in my opinion Edison is the absolute best format having a lot of the goat cards and also having synchro let's you do a mouth to actually play some sort of combo but it is not absurdly complicated
Just found out about goat format as I was researching to build a couple anime character decks for fun/nostalgia. I can definitely see myself playing goat format in the near future!
Thats Cool sounds like this would be a great way to restart back into playing people as its the way I played when the game first came out so I'd not need too much coaching on any changes
Warrior chaos was played when goat format was the current format. The deck actually cost more then now as D.D. Warrior was only available via TP07 back then. Wasn't a requirement, but the TP07 D.D. Warrior was fetching upwards of $300 in 2006. This particular format always drew in people that wanted to flex, and it was in 2006 in Birmingham, AL that I got to examine an SJC Cyber Stein in person. Good times.
Would have been worth mentioning that while the bling ceiling is way high with goats it’s also able to be built on the cheap. Meta decks like a hundred with side and you only need one fusion deck for all your decks cause it’s unlimited and universal
ya, idk why he shows all the very rare version when most cards have reprints that are like a couple cents to 1-2$. you don't need to have an all blinged out deck, you can literally build a meta deck for a couple bucks
Goat format is cool because you can easily make a good deck for cheap, or you can bling it out for a fortune. Definitely has something that appeals to everyone!
Love playing some weird brews in GOAT. Recently made a Strike Ninja Control deck. Some say it's not optimal with Scapegoat being at 3, but have they considered Needle Ceiling?
I really like GOAT format, I haven't played it though. If I had to choose an older format I'd probably go for Edison since I liked the synchro summoning a lot back then. Also, I'd love to see a GOAT tournament recorded, or at least see you playing it!
These cards are so nostalgic. Your channel motivated me this week to start collecting again. Now I just gotta catch up on how to play the game with the current meta.
Goat format has a lot of potential to get massive especially with the state of modern yugioh and how it's alienated older players trying to pick the game back up great vid as always ruxin!
Awesome video and your high rarity GOAT deck is absolutely insane, so fricken beautiful wow. I played when Yugioh first came out up until 2008, sold everything and started collecting again in 2022. I do enjoy how the game is played today but I especially loved it back then. My locals just started doing a GOAT format tournament and a few people there are big into it. I am now starting to get cards to make a deck. Well I am sure I already have enough cards to make one, and although I won’t be able to do max rarity of everything, especially that amazing champion magic of Faith and spirit reaper, and all the rest. I want to at least have fairly nice versions of all the cards. I am super pumped to make a goat deck, can’t wait to play.
I'm lucky my locals does a weekly goat format tourney, I've been playing warriors for a few months now and doing well with them, building zombies and umi beat down soon!
I loved the idea of goat format but I can only play online, since here in Brazil (and specifically where I live) I don't know any places to play IRL. Specially taking consideration the prices on the oldschool cards. But online is still really fun!
I am streaming AUCTION SERIES with DistantCoder today on Twitch!!

Thank you again ruxin!! Hope you love the cards
Thats a big fish

They semi have with some of the releases this year, got some really cool shinies of classic staples

It’s really fun check it out

Really excited for the 25th anniversary reprints to help with building decks for these old formats
For expensive decks, I 100% recommend double sleeving. Gotta protect the investment!
Goat format is cool takes a lot of patience and resource management
I love goat format it’s about the only format I actually understand
I really want to get into Goat format. Definitely the prime era for YGO.

@@theshadowking9626 crazy how the people who say stuff like this don't actually play the format in any non casual capacity
@@Yummygem_ .. that deck sucks and gets bodied in every tournament
I won the giveaway! Yay!
@@theshadowking9626such a base level analysis of GOAT… if you play hastily with those power cards, you can be out tempo-d quickly.
seeing all these old cards is really cool
Just found out about goat format as I was researching to build a couple anime character decks for fun/nostalgia. I can definitely see myself playing goat format in the near future!
GOAT format was always intriguing to me.
I quite like goat, monster gate decks are my jam
Thats Cool sounds like this would be a great way to restart back into playing people as its the way I played when the game first came out so I'd not need too much coaching on any changes
Piercing moray is pure pain. Everything else is fire though
Oh the memories of the good ol days. Playing on the playground as a kid in school.
Goat format is what i need to keep my yugioh love alive! This new stuff is way too complicated 😭
❤
This format got me back to the game. I just finished my deck and I've been enjoying playing a lot.

I’m almost done with my high rarity goat deck, the goal is to have most of the cards in their original print 1st Ed
I went with the Platinum BOM as well lol. I love the look of that set. Very awesome GOAT deck
GOHT format is so fun. This video takes me back to the go old days lol
It would be awesome to see Ruxin duel!
It's pretty interesting GOAT format, but I've never had the chance to play it
Haven’t played the game since I was a kid. GOAT format seems like it would be the most fun to hop back into
Missed that $80 tsukuyomi from astral pack
Very nice. Btw I think there's a difference between "max rarity" and "max value"
Would love to see more GOAT content.
I definitely like goat format. Slow and single copies of cards with big impact.
Very intriguing. I do enjoy retro stuff
i personaly would always double sleeves my deck, its the best way to protect decks

Seems like a really fun format
So cool! Makes me miss the old days!
I love GOAT format for the nostalgia. That was when I played!
Goat format looks fun, might look into it.
Love these old formats
I’ll never forget when my brother and I both pulled an injection fairy lily @ target from 2 packs lol we were hyyyyyped
Goat format is cool because you can easily make a good deck for cheap, or you can bling it out for a fortune. Definitely has something that appeals to everyone!

Wouldn't mind seeing some replays of you playing old formats tbh
Goat format is much better than today format. It actually feels like battling!
Got back into collecting cause of goat format, excited to get into edison also!
im ab ig fan of goat format because its like the old yugioh cards and like one combo move was insane
One of the best format in my opinion. Love the old school decks and cards
8:30 pretty decent.
they're like mandatory in any chaos deck
GOAT format looks very nostalgic
Nice! Goat is what made me buy yugioh cards for the first time in a long time
I like these oldschool cards very much. That were the times when the cards doesnt have an effect of 20 lines.
I was super young when GOAT was a thing unfortunately, I’d like to try it out for sure, even though I honestly like m modern YGO
Goat format has a lot of potential to get massive especially with the state of modern yugioh and how it's alienated older players trying to pick the game back up great vid as always ruxin!
Never heard of it but seems like would be a good old school deck
I love goat format! Really nice to wind down the night with some goat duels. Big into edison as well!
I love goat format! I’m slowly building my first deck as it can be pricey unless you wanna buy all MP or HP cards.
Love me some goat format! Goat and Edison really are the most fun formats
Love this play goat weekly
I like goat, I have a levia-dragon - Daedalus Water build, and it is fun
I think it would be cool to see a GOAT video
Lets go ruxin!!! Goat is the goat!!

I do quite enjoy Goat. Its not my favorite format but I mean you cant go wrong with the classic format.
Never played Goat format but love seeing the old school cards
Brings back all the memories
I'm lucky my locals does a weekly goat format tourney, I've been playing warriors for a few months now and doing well with them, building zombies and umi beat down soon!
goat decks are so nostalgic
I like the GOAT format. Also nice decks you have there, you should make some videos of dueling with those. Would love to see that!
Love Goat I play it pretty regularly on DB and masterduel with the friends :))
The only GOAT in this video is you Ruxin! Keep crushing 🙌
I remember using magic cylinder against someone who tried to hit me with a 9k attack blue eyes, ruined their day, lol.
Goat format is freaking gorgeous hahahaha, brings to me great memories and good yugi days from the past
❤
Goat format, the gentleman's format
Goat format is 🐐 for a reason
I actually find goat format really entertaining to play. Just don't have any good places locally to play it and my friends suck and only play mtg 😭
I loved the idea of goat format but I can only play online, since here in Brazil (and specifically where I live) I don't know any places to play IRL. Specially taking consideration the prices on the oldschool cards. But online is still really fun!
Bro this is my favorite type of content. Although I am biased bc I only play goat and Edison.
Where do you get cards list for This format
For my zombie deck I like to use partician of darkness and spirit reaper
My lord, some of these cards are so expensive nowadays. Here I am playing GOAT format with my commons and rare's I spent pennies on.
GOAT is the GOAT
More Goat Format content would be awesome!
Hmmm
Goat format is my favourite and i love every single deck shown in this video 🔥🔥🔥
Man a Relinquished deck omg i need this
Old school supers look so beautiful
Double Sleeve cards over $50 for sure
goat format is the best, just oldschool dueling!
Goat format seems fun, but looks hard to get into.
