Got one of them right out of the box the battery does not lock in the key lock does not work can not ride it with the battery lose like that very dis apointed
They told me to put two washes underneath the top locking mechanism at the bottom two screws I noticed that one screw had threads on the other screw did not have threads on I had to replace after calling them and giving them to send me a new locking mechanism
Another recent review showed it's suspension bottoming out rather badly on a light off road path, could you plese try and put the AQ177 through a similar test for like half an hour? (nothing too harsh it's not designed at all for that, but sometimes you want the option for some light off road adventure and I don't think the AQ177 with it's current stock tires can handle it, do you have any dirt roads with some light bumps here and there you can test it on? )
OK, I had to bring up the question about it's off roading limitation because of this other review done also very recently, see: th-cam.com/video/4WFmI_Cxvi8/w-d-xo.html The suspension bottomed out so bad on that light dirt trail, the rider got off the AQ177 to see what went wrong, see 20 minute mark:
Thanks Chris, I know it's time consuming, but in major urban area's where potholes and under-maintained-asphalt- roads are everyday norms, the off-road test, give us some extra guidance, because if an e-bikes suspension can handle light dirt roads, it should handle at least average sized potholes on city pavement,
I was just looking at the website on this bike. There is a “bl-1 through “bl-3 to adjust the back light on the display settings. Try to change the settings to “bl-3” to see if it improves for daylight viewing. Good luck. 👍
Very good range and looks good too. The display at night seems pretty good. I wonder why during the day light it’s so dim. Seems like it should be the opposite. At night it should be dim and during daylight it should be bright. Maybe contact the manufacturer and ask if there is any way to adjust the display. Good review on Aniioki ebike. Thanks for sharing. Keep the videos coming.👍
Got in touch with the company about the bike not locking the battery down my locking mechanism was broken they give me a new one fixed it we'll see how long it stays fixed the screen you're right you cannot see it at all they need to fix
@ChrisCrossed I saw a video on trail happy where his motor sounded like it puked its planetary gears while going up a hill. I think was saying it's been a problem before. I just figured it was them using nylor gears in the motor instead of hybrid or steel. Maybe they made some fixes to the motor.
@ChrisCrossed trust me, man, it's not the first time about the bike. After 2000 miles I will be a lot of problems and forget about customer service. Aniioki customer service is very stupid
Good video! I like my AQ 177 quite a bit. I put a Suntour seat suspension post on it. I also put a stem Riser on it to bring the handlebars up higher. There was plenty of cable slack for that. Makes the ride very comfortable. I put a different Freewheel on there and it helped a little, there is not a whole lot of room left over for a bigger chain ring. I still might try that next. I purchased the 45 amp hour bike. And it came with a 60 amp hour battery. A little bird told me about that. I put street tires on it, that made it more quiet. With the Black Friday sale they had going on, you get a lot of bike for the money. I absolutely love the Cruise Control Function. And the electric horn comes in handy. The headlight is very bright also. But it is not very adjustable, you have to bend the bracket to adjust it.

I had the same issue, after a few days of trying it finally started to lock. But I also use a large zip tie to keep it in place.
I got in touch with the company and they gave me a new locking mechanism because mine was broke on the bottom
good to hear that@@tentman4fun

I did take it on a dirt trail stretch but didn’t notice any problems.
Thanks for the weight, right off. Seems everyone accepts that weights are hidden.

That should be ok for 75 miles at 30 mph.
80 Nm = 59.005 ft lbs and 100Nm = 73.7562 ft lbs. Wow. That’s pretty good for an e-bike. At over 100lbs/45.359 kilos in weight, I’m sure it is needed.
You need every bit of it
There are quite a few 750 watt E Bikes that have 1,200 watt peak rear hubs. Wonder why they couldn't squeeze 1,500 out of that thing?
Guess they were spec'ing it more for range.
Hello dear, let's fix the fender 😅 and it's not Cold any more.
From their website: Torque:80N.M(48V), 100N.M(52V)
What’s the maximum weight the rear rack will take? I want a bike to do school runs with my 9year old. Preferably with huge range like this
Should be fine for adding a kid seat

Thanks I emailed them but didn’t hear back, will try that.
Nice bike, Call it the Beef Master! Like the looks and handling, but the display is undesirable. Nice review Chris!!
They have the meats!

Is there a quick release for the motor cable at the back wheel to remove rear wheel when necessary for flats and tire changes?
Yes there is.

I increased brightness in the settings it’s a little better now
Yeah I did that but it ain't much@@ChrisCrossed
Love the review! may I ask if you can cap the speed to 20mph? will that cap both PAS and throttle? thank you!
It comes as a
Class 3 ebike, some settings are accessible but don’t know about the speed one
@@ChrisCrossed thank you!
To me, that bike literally costs $1,000,000.00 because I can’t afford it myself.
For an ebike with that range and under $2k its a true bargain.
What kind of handle end mirros are those?
Its one of those velcro wrap around things I used for testing, not permanent. But I'd suggest some Hafny bar end mirrors.
Dang! 35 ah would be fine to me.
They were like nah, lets 3X the battery!
@@ChrisCrossed I'm sure it would be useful on the Kepler
I just bought mine, showed up 2 days ago, I’m getting a error code 30, help anyone?
You'll need to ask Aniioki, they dont seem to have any user groups online.
Yeah but is annioki still having motor issues?
What issue? Mine is fine

Gotcha, so far so good with mine. Put 15 miles on it today actually.
And now the sun 🌞 a shine warm 😊
Low quality aniioki bike
I wouldn’t call it low quality

Does this bike not come with the full throttle seems like some are different than others
it does yes
Can anyone tell me what cells are used in the battery?
I don’t think they’re name brand
