Hi Mate!! How3 you never used it? Always infor yourself about gears, because: That is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT thing especially for videography Is an N.D. Filter, the MAIN use are: to setup always the right shutter speed anme rate (fps) in cinematography, usually the 2 to 1 ratio that is used for movies and any "Perfect" picture situation, or to have "moving " water, or any blurred thing in movment on pics.
Also there are Polireized N.D. filters, very good to shoot with bright sky in the background, so the sky is not over exposed to just look white because of the subject exp.
Because...for more light...you need actually More Light...but for less...just this..Because against what many think, sometime less light is better!!
