You get a medal on this mission. Before you take out the turrets on that base refinery, fly towards the gate and shoot at the power cores until all four of them are at 2 bar health. Then after destroying the refinery's turrets and saving the gamma from an enemy ship go towards the middle of the gate so you have a clear shot at the 4 power cores. When that station is gone shoot at the cores. An enemy vessel will appear from the gate and will be cut in half with (when the gate explodes) it's rear gone and the forward side will be just drifting.

Luv this mission! I use the tempest...add a fuel pod, 2-3 raptors, 3 torpedoes, 1-2 screamers. Take out the fighters as quick as possible. Then move fast to one Kurigen, lock in a torpedo, launch it, and move to the next Kurigen..do the same..both will be destroyed. Head out and knock out as many of the turrents as you can...Once Gamma jumps in, head to Gamma quickly..and use a torpedo when the Kurigen appears..you will have time to lock on and launch it at close range...then head to the warp game..to one of the four power corees that you need to destroy..use your lasers and screamers...knock each one quickly..the carrier that comes in, will be cut in half. if you do it quickly, then get out of there because the turrents at the warp gate, will still fire are you. Taking them out, is okay..but gets no extra kills. Yout get an medal if you able to destroy the warp gate in time which will destroy the enemy carrier coming through.
