Thanks! Had no idea they went to disks & CV joints! New pads are a bitch, but that oughta be very infrequent and the integral hand brake is very simple, so I would say it's a win! Seal got F'd by the person assembling it.
That's because you probably don't know the 2 CV.That was the front right caliper. Front Calipers are mounted just beside the differential and gearbox. The gearbox is located close to the firewall and the engine is ahead of it.
@@citro-garage That's right, I don't. If you want the most people to get the most out of your video, you can have an attitude that has some consideration for Americans that have never seen what the 2cv looks like under the hood.
Since it was only a short episode within the series that shows the whole car completely rebuilt and all its structure starting from the chassis until completion, I did not think that the single episode could be seen separately. For a better understanding of the car architecture, if you like, I recommend you to watch the other episodes For any other clarification, do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you!
@@citro-garage Well, that's the nature of TH-cam -- people can 'parachute in' anywhere. The seasoned TH-camrs know this and make some introductions at the start of every video for the benefit of people just tuning in.
@@hg2. jeez, someone woke up cranky. Unsure why you'd be watching a very specific video about a specific car without the prior knowledge of that car, it's just fine how it's edited if you are actually approaching the job yourself.
È bello vedere questi lavori ! Grazie.
Grazie a te!
Excelente! Felicitaciones.

Is there a vacuum servo on this car ?
No there isn't. The pedal is directly connected to pump, the car is very light, and braking is effortless.

Actually I had to replace the caliper seal because they were defective. I received the information from the supplier too late... :-)
Starts out too close, don't know where at in engine, car, front, back, left, right.
