I don't really trust the word of someone who has only ever been trained by a dark sider. But also, that Jedi reminds me of the type of cop that pulls his gun out during traffic stops - not exactly a shining example of a good Jedi and maybe even more of a foreshadowing of the type of Jedi we see in the Skywalker Saga.
I was so shocked y’all didn’t notice Mae’s hair is definitely longer than Osha’s. When the first switched to Osha on the Trade federation ship my first thought was ‘Is her hair shorter?’ And I was able to distinguish them that way
At first I thought that Osha on the ship was just Mae's back story about why she wanted revenge and that is why her hair was shorter. Didn't realize it was her twin until the Jedi's came looking for her
There was like a 2 minute scene between Osea and Sol where he said he didn't want her to go because of her anger for vengeance against her sister. Jabby "I just don't get why Osea wasn't there" during the "my sister is dead" scene. Is it that people aren't watching the show properly, or?
Carrie Ann Mos gave Mae a look as if to say, don't do this, right before Mae threw the dagger at the bar owner. At that point she knew she would die because she knew what she was about to do. The look was to say, you will have an opening don't take it. That's what I got from that.
@@AlbertoMartinez765 a jedi Master would have noticed that. And a Master would have been able to stop both daggers. Not a fan of that scene but loving the rest so far.
Look at Sol's face after he told Jeckie he knows Mae is dead. I think the Four hid Mae away and only took one twin to the Temple because there would be some kind of "issue" with training both. The Master found and trained her and is using her anger at the Four for his/her/their own agenda against the Jedi.
@@owenmackenzie579 My guess is the Jedi were responsible for the death of her family, not Mae. They may have sensed the dark side duality of her and had orders to execute her. (Jedi Dogma?) Seems like they knew who her family was and happened to be close by.... They pointed out that her training was started abnormally late.
Look at the 4 Jedi now. 1 took a job beneath her skill and rank on some backwater planet when she should be on the council. 1 took a 10 vow of silence as penance 1 took a teaching job instead of fieldwork. And the last is living in exile in a derelict ship They did something bad for sure. You could see it on Sol's face, Endara's surprise at seeing Mae's face. Plus how fast he took the poison.
I THINK he was recording. There was a blinking red light on the HUD. According to reference books that is a capability of some binoculars in SW. It looked goofy though I'll agree.
I asked the same thing about the fire outside. So did Late to the Party. I think either the gas seen outgassing is oxygen, or there is a flammable fuel in the line, that has its own oxidizer.
Fire is only possible in two cases when it comes to "space": (1) in case you are not actually in space but rather in a different atmosphere which allows a flame to exist, that is to undergo the equivalence of oxidation and (2) it is in space but there is a leak of gas, e.g. oxygen, closely around where the flame exists, this gas may be enough to sustain the flame while it feeds it.
Dude you've got to read up on studies done on identical twins separated at birth. It is insane how similarly they turn out even when raised in completely different families.
Jim Lewis and Jim Springer, born in 1940. Two identical twin brothers discovered they had lived nearly identical lives despite being separated at birth and not knowing each other until the age of 39. So, it kinda makes sense
I thought the actor who played Master Torbin looked familiar, but I just couldn't figure it out by myself. A simple google search later; it's Tommen Baratheon 😂
Fire in space works in star wars the same way it has through all of the films, the explosion of the executor in episode 6, the fire atop of the starcruiser in episode 1,
Someone bought up this theory to me and I cannot seem to unsee it now and after re-watching the final seen of episode one like five times I am certainly buying that theory, Sol has a twin and he’s Mae’s master.
Darth Achara: Kill the youngling! Others: B-but, she's just a child. She may have also just warned us of impending dange... Darth Achara: Kill. The youngling. 🤣
As much as i wish CAM wouldnt have died so fast, star wars is generally for lesser known actors so it makes sense to me that shed mostly be a cameo, but im confidant we get flashbacks to her later on
When Sol said he saw Mae die, I thought it was pretty obvious he was hiding something. He believes Osha because he already knew Mae survived. My own theory is the four jedi clearly did something bad and covered it up, he was supposed to not let Mae get away and he let her go because he couldn't off a kid. So he lies and says Mae is dead.
i mean he could've just said "i ain't about to off a kid, we are the jedi and not the sith" instead of lying. and wouldn't the other jedi masters feel something off about him like "i sense a disturbance in your soul through the force"?
Why would Yord's Padawan not be on the mission, too?!?!? How is he to train her if she is not there? We see Jeckie learn within the first two episodes. Even making a very good plan on Olega.
Uhm, special mission it seems she is his first Padawan, and she doesn't seem far along her training as Jecki or even Osha (although she has not used the force for 6 yrs). There were missions Anakin AND Obi Wan went on, and Ahsoka wasn't there. This is not a rare occurence.
Maybe it depends on who is in command of the mission. In the Osha capture mission, Yord is in charge so he is allowed to decide to bring his Padawan. In the current mission, Master Sol is in charge, and perhaps he decided he only needs Yord as part of the small team.
I just don't give a fuck anymore what the internet says about a show. So many people being hurt and dramatic which is okay, but it's mostly not my opinion so I just watch it first and see if I like it. With this one, I did. It's fun to see the Jedi order as we've been told, as keepers of the peace throughout the galaxy. Gotta take the stuff the internet says always with a grain of salt these days. People like hating on shit, cause they feel heard and connected then. Don't take it too serious and have fun! :)
Do not feel ashamed for liking this show! I had super low expectations (because of the haters), but (as yet) I am absolutely enjoying it! And yes, its so wholesome seeing Jedi NOT forced to fight in wars
6:00 Spaceships flying like jets in an atmosphere don't bother you, but fire in space does? Ummm, okay. EDIT: 24:13 Masters and Apprentices are connected through the Force though, you could say that they are "attached," the overlooked attachment that Jedi know is unavoidable. Palpatine is connected to Darth Vader Anakin was connected to Ahsoka, still is as evidenced by her series Ahsoka is connected to Sabine Kanin was connected to Ezra Obi-Wan was connected to Anakin And the list goes on. That unique connection that masters have with their apprentices' gives them a uniquely deep perspective that others overlook/are blind to see. Sol believing Osha isn't surprising to me; it's par for the course.

Idk if I agree. There is very clearly a difference between the behavior of both twins. Like it was clear to me at least from the first frame we saw osha it was a different person
I agree. These girls grew up together and were initially raised by the same mothers, so they will definitely be similar. Even identical twins separated at birth are often incredibly similar. Nature can sometimes outweigh nurture in shaping who we are.
I enjoyed watching this show with all the flaws ...I will keep watching like I did for The mandalorian Ashoka -Obi- wan ...they should try a show about Luke Skywalker as a jedi

@@CinePals I’m sincere. It’s more ambient, and soothing. 🤓 Not that you’ll remember this if you see a comment from me again, but I usually add goofy face, or something, to imply facetiousness.
I think the Jedi, particularly Sol, wanted to avoid Mae and Osha coming into contact. Mae might very well be the only other person that may know what the Jedi are lying about. A big thing about the Jedi in this show is that they are very manipulative. With people. With the truth. I fully expect OSHA to lose faith in the Jedi and join her sister. At least that’s what I hope.
How does fire in space work? The same way explosions and ship sounds in space work Answer: star wars universe has slightly different laws of phtsics than us
This show is on the same level as The Book of Boba Fett. And the FL (who has only one expression on her face throughout) doing that weird pose whenever she challenged to duel made me laugh everytime.
I liked the first two episodes. I like the characters of Mae/Osha and very intriguing what happens. Overall I think the dialogue and pacing is weak, however I’m still looking forward to the next ones. It’s not a desaster, but definitely not a masterpiece either. Let’s see how the ride goes … so far 7/10 for me
The whole twin thing. Why does Mae have a better handling of the Force and why Osha quit. That is something I would like to know why and how this happened other then the whole Anger vs Forgiveness thing. Does that mean Evil has an easier path to the Force?
i believe the gas that the pressure valve is spewing into space is likely air or oxygen or some kind of oxidizer. think about it we use rockets to travel in space so how are they able to burn? the reason is they use liquid oxygen. so you can start a fire in space so long as you bring your own oxygen. (the real strange thing though is that fire reacts strangely in zero g. apparently in space fire will form a sphere and they burn slower and cooler than they do in gravity.)
Nit really expecting an answer from you guys but does anyone know how reaction channels get the footage theyre reacting to? Is it just a capture card or something?
Mantra of the Sith: "Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me." This is a contrast to the Jedi/Lightsaber mantra of Luke Skywalker: "There is no ignorance; there is knowledge. There is no passion; there is serenity. There is no death; there is the Force." And a contrast to the exhortation of Jedi Master Luminara Unduli to graduating Padawan Barris Offee (in Clone Wars animation series, episode 14: "The crystal is the heart of the blade. The heart is the crystal of the Jedi. The Jedi is the crystal of the Force. The Force is the blade of the heart. All are intertwined: the crystal, the blade, the Jedi. You are one." (emphasis on oneness, nature, balance vs gaining power and victory). The character known as QIMIR who said, "Peace is a lie," actually uttered a mantra indicative of the beliefs of the Sith. QIMIR, portrayed by Filipino-Canadian Manny Jacinto, is that brilliant mind behind the poison utilized by Mae in her confrontation against Master Jedi Torbin on the planet Olega during Episode 2. Some are speculating that QIMIR may also be the enigmatic figure seen wielding the ominous red lightsaber in the Acolyte trailers
I don’t like this show when it comes to the writing and ideas they chose. But visually, it’s pretty good. And I do like Master Sol and Trinity though 😂(I forgot her name that fast). Osha was supposed to stay on the light side and Mae went with the stranger. It made no sense for both of them to go with him when all the writers were gonna do is implement the rule of two. Either osha would die or overcome herself.
I’d say LF should try and do some smaller level movies based in the High Republic era. Especially cover the hyperspace catastrophe and show the power of a mass of Jedi and what they can do as a group
I didn't know this show was being hated on. Oh well, I quite enjoyed the first two episodes and am looking forward to the rest of the series! Always gotta support Rue!
Yes, the Florida Republican party has billion backers. These old men can hire army of online trolls to harass Disney. You see them all the time targeting Disney and Star Wars. They tried to target X-Men 97 but they got major push back.
I heard this crazy thing yesterday. It was about another franchise but it applies here. People like different things. And like different parts of things. Watch what you like and enjoy it. But show other people the same respect to watch what THEY like. Basically, if you don't like a series or movie in a franchise, skip it. But, why expend energy shitting not only on it, but also in the fans who DO enjoy it?

I'm really enjoying the show as well! I did not like the opening scene because what jedi master wouldn't have noticed the second dagger? But the rest is great so far.
People are just now noticing the bad writing, the entire Star Wars Saga is horribly written since the first movie, sorry not sorry they should have taken it seriously…..
I remember my grandma told me, I don't care what they taught you in school but Anakin Skywalker blew up the Death Star and there's nogood and evil in Star Wars Don't forget major plot holes..nah.. plot craters 1.they Identify DEI stronge female also immediately from the other side of the galaxy by a random alien barkeep, what he'd probably describe her as black human female with dreads and they identify her out of billions of people who would fit the same description. 2. They send a Jedi Knight and a Padawan to arrest a assassin who killed a Jedi Master. 3. They arrest her and instead of escorting her with them, they put her in a prisoner transport. From their perspective she is strong enough to kill a Jedi Master. 4. Why the heck would DEI male Jedi Knight be streaming his cloak in the common area where everyone passes through? 5. The Jedi don't draw their weapons unless they're ready to kill, literally later on DEI male Jedi Knight draw his lightsaber to use as a torch. The characters and story are written as intelligent as the writers themselves are, and Disney Star wars writers severely lack the intellect to write something as lore heavy and beloved I.P as this.
Sol is the best character, a mix of Qui Gon and Obi Wan. Can not wait to see more of Indara in flashbacks. 😻Sol and Indara are the only reasons for me to watch this show😀 Greetings from Germany
I'm liking the show so far (I'm just 2 eps in) but one thing that's been nagging me is that for me the vibe of the show has been more Star Trek than Star Wars, and I'm a fan of both so this isn't a dis. But Jaby's point of the "smallness" of the production is a partial answer. It *feels* like a pre-streamer TV show in the use of tight sets-few exteriors, not even via Volume it seems. But I think bigger reason is that most Star Wars narratives begin away from the centers of power to follow a lone individual in their journey from a routine existence to one of adventure or great import, so that the world of Republic, Empire, New Republic, Outer Rim, et al is revealed in bigger and bigger swings of the plot. With the Acolyte we're thrown right into a police procedural so that the immediate setting is one with a clear and rigid hierarchy of responsibility (the Jedi Order), much like that of a Federation Starship. There's nothing wrong with that-it's just another angle or genre in the vast SW universe, like the Western vibe of Mando season 1 or the political thriller vibe of Andor. I guess that as someone who hasn't read the books I'm wanting broader world-building to distinguish this newly depicted era from the others.
People are hateful for no reason these days. Or they'll find the tiniest reason and make that the biggest thing ever. I'm sure there are a group of people that were out when they saw a non-white lead or heard that she had two moms! (*fake faints*) As a Star Wars fan from the 80's I'm absolutely loving this show so far. I'm very curious on where it's going. I'm just bummed because I'll be at work every time a new episode comes out and I go to bed right after getting out, so I'll have to see it the next morning. But whatever. I'm excited! Probably going to with the show had more episodes like I do every time.
Other people (youtubers) say they see a good performance that distinguishes Osha and May pretty much. I see that too, but it is subjective. I think that for you guys that work in the industry it's easier to spot stuff that bother you. (That's your curse! lol) To me, this series is perfect so far.. well, not perfect. Two little things bothered me: episode 1 she didn't even try to navigate the ship that crashed; and on episode 2, when Yord spots Mae, at night, he is on a first storey balcony, and the image that is shown of Mae that is supposed to be from his point of view shows her from the same level, as if he were on the ground level. That was bad! lol (Because the ship crash at least one can imply that she "trusted the Force"... (?!)) I think all the internet hate on this show is completely absurd, and I hope it stays and ends strong, so people can eat their hats in the future, when people rediscover the pearl that this is. Ps. It's funny you guys haven't seen Indara's death coming right in the beginning. It was written all over the trailers. Every time Carrie-Ann Moss showed up in the trailers someone said "a Jedi was murdered!..."
@CinePals I heard that the producer leyslie wants to make a live action kotor or thinking about it even putting a legend character in her Star Wars shows idk about that

22:06 yeah in the legend stories Han & Leia had three kids. Jaina & Jacen (twins) and Anakin. 41:11 I love how Joonas gets to have his own wookie. With Chewbacca he was following Peter’s lead on how Chewy’s personality is. With Kelnacca no other person has portrayed him before. 48:37 everytime I hear Osha’s name I keep thinking of the overseer of workplace safety.
1. *"The Jedi live in a dream. But, an Acolyte kills the dream."*
2. So far, after 2 episodes, it's quite interesting.
My favorite character currently is Master Sol. I think the world-building and crime-thriller aspect is most intriguing.
Only time will tell how good or bad the show is.

Completely agree with Jaby that the "city" looks so big from afar but when you get down there it looks small and to me it looks like a set.
it's really nice enjoying the show and watching you guys enjoy it ❤
A Jedi doesn't pull out their weapon unless prepared to kill....except in dark snowy caves.
and butter knives are more deadly then lightsaber
i think he was trying use it as a flashlight 🤣
That was kinda the point....to show the jedi are not the pefrect do gooders who always follow their own rules like they claim to be.
When the first switched to Osha on the Trade federation ship my first thought was ‘Is her hair shorter?’ And I was able to distinguish them that way
Also the GIANT GOld Tattoo on her forehead???
On first watch there’s 0% chance I would notice that. Also, you can totally change you hair from one day to the next.
MMM maybe maybe not the way they shot the scene Mae made it look she Only had the ONE dagger while she palmed the 2nd behind her back.
I got the same feeling.
@@AlbertoMartinez765 a jedi Master would have noticed that. And a Master would have been able to stop both daggers. Not a fan of that scene but loving the rest so far.
I really like this interpretation.
They take siblings together, especially twins, because of their force bonds. The clone wars had an episode that featured twin knights
Dang, it's nice to see you two together again. ;)
Rick James hair on the twins lmao superfreaks
Look at the 4 Jedi now.
1 took a job beneath her skill and rank on some backwater planet when she should be on the council.
1 took a 10 vow of silence as penance
1 took a teaching job instead of fieldwork.
And the last is living in exile in a derelict ship
They did something bad for sure. You could see it on Sol's face, Endara's surprise at seeing Mae's face. Plus how fast he took the poison.
Nice detail. They buried that team of Jedi.
Yord standing on the balcony looking through binoculars is hilarious. He's like an arms throw from them😂
I THINK he was recording. There was a blinking red light on the HUD. According to reference books that is a capability of some binoculars in SW. It looked goofy though I'll agree.
@JS-ct3kr ah okay, that does make more sense at least.
He is recording for worldstar.
@@JS-ct3kr All the shots of binoculars in star wars show blinking lights on them lol. Why hasn't anything else ever been recorded lol.
I asked the same thing about the fire outside. So did Late to the Party.
I think either the gas seen outgassing is oxygen, or there is a flammable fuel in the line, that has its own oxidizer.
It's always fun watching with you guys.
Wow! Nice catch!
"I see Fiya..."
That one's gonna catch a lightsaber in her sleep.
Fire in space works in star wars the same way it has through all of the films, the explosion of the executor in episode 6, the fire atop of the starcruiser in episode 1,
The oxygen feeding the fire could easily come from within the ship itself. I honestly don't get how people forget that tiny detail.
You guys know the actress playing Mae and Osha is Rue, the one from The Hunger Games?
WHOA “I’m also a lot more flexible” -Osha was sooo hitting on Jeckie the padawan
That would surprise me a bit considering her supposed parentage.
Someone bought up this theory to me and I cannot seem to unsee it now and after re-watching the final seen of episode one like five times I am certainly buying that theory, Sol has a twin and he’s Mae’s master.
This was a GREAT start!! I am loving the 1st TWO ep.
Are you trolling?! 😂😂😂
Trinity couldn’t pull the girl down mid air while she was jumping to the second floor just like how Vader can stop a ship from flying away?
Darth Achara: Kill the youngling!
Others: B-but, she's just a child. She may have also just warned us of impending dange...
Darth Achara: Kill. The youngling.
🤣
The lighting look so good in this room
Glad they didn’t drag out the twin reveal
Like the droid designs 👍
Why would Yord's Padawan not be on the mission, too?!?!?
How is he to train her if she is not there? We see Jeckie learn within the first two episodes. Even making a very good plan on Olega.
Uhm, special mission it seems she is his first Padawan, and she doesn't seem far along her training as Jecki or even Osha (although she has not used the force for 6 yrs).
There were missions Anakin AND Obi Wan went on, and Ahsoka wasn't there. This is not a rare occurence.
The jedi master said small team be discreet.
Maybe it depends on who is in command of the mission. In the Osha capture mission, Yord is in charge so he is allowed to decide to bring his Padawan. In the current mission, Master Sol is in charge, and perhaps he decided he only needs Yord as part of the small team.
Actually it’s fairly common for Master and Padawan to split up and go on separate missions.
that the main problem lmao is not fun because the political activist, do you like someone shove ideas you dont belive down your troat? smh
Do not feel ashamed for liking this show! I had super low expectations (because of the haters), but (as yet) I am absolutely enjoying it! And yes, its so wholesome seeing Jedi NOT forced to fight in wars
@@eryniel95 is not shame is just garbage and most of the people agree.
As both a Star Wars AND Star Trek nerd, I was surprised to see an Orion Jedi!
Trek nerds know what I mean.
Yes, we do. 😂
We do love our green girls!
6:00 Spaceships flying like jets in an atmosphere don't bother you, but fire in space does? Ummm, okay.
EDIT:
24:13 Masters and Apprentices are connected through the Force though, you could say that they are "attached," the overlooked attachment that Jedi know is unavoidable.
Palpatine is connected to Darth Vader
Anakin was connected to Ahsoka, still is as evidenced by her series
Ahsoka is connected to Sabine
Kanin was connected to Ezra
Obi-Wan was connected to Anakin
And the list goes on. That unique connection that masters have with their apprentices' gives them a uniquely deep perspective that others overlook/are blind to see. Sol believing Osha isn't surprising to me; it's par for the course.
fire in space in star wars works however it's worked since the original trilogy and the prequels, which had fire & sound in space.
everyone stop acting like you care/know about strict realism in movies. thor had 100 chances to kill thanos before thanos snapped. just enjoy art please before the apocalypse.
Idk if I agree. There is very clearly a difference between the behavior of both twins. Like it was clear to me at least from the first frame we saw osha it was a different person
Glad you felt that. Her behavior certainly wasn’t evil when Osha is introduced.
I agree. These girls grew up together and were initially raised by the same mothers, so they will definitely be similar. Even identical twins separated at birth are often incredibly similar. Nature can sometimes outweigh nurture in shaping who we are.
Why isn't anybody acknowledging the astronaut suits, making reference to the Apollo movies😅
I enjoyed watching this show with all the flaws ...I will keep watching like I did for The mandalorian Ashoka -Obi- wan ...they should try a show about Luke Skywalker as a jedi
Don't be scared to say you enjoyed this! People were rooting for it to fail before they saw it for... reasons.... but I think it's quite good!!
love the episodes and your guys reaction. much appreciated!~
side note, when she punches the wall her hand scrunches (the invisible wall) someone mentioned it and i had to slow it down, but yeah i think its either glass or something like you said.
Love the lighting in this reaction.
Can’t tell if you mean that or if you’re being facetious. Lol. We didn’t have control over it as we just used natural light.
Can’t tell if you mean that or if you’re being facetious. Lol. We didn’t have control over it as we just used natural light.
@@CinePals I’m sincere. It’s more ambient, and soothing. 🤓
Not that you’ll remember this if you see a comment from me again, but I usually add goofy face, or something, to imply facetiousness.
The fire might be connected to the oxygen line
even if that was the case.....the oxygen bleeding would ignite as a flare thruster flame and not as a campfire flames...
Thanks 👍
I think the Jedi, particularly Sol, wanted to avoid Mae and Osha coming into contact.
Mae might very well be the only other person that may know what the Jedi are lying about.
A big thing about the Jedi in this show is that they are very manipulative. With people. With the truth. I fully expect OSHA to lose faith in the Jedi and join her sister. At least that’s what I hope.
Who is the green Jedi leader who sent Sol to catch OSHA?
I finally figured out Dafne is Jeckie. I'm bad with faces WITHOUT prosthetics and stuff.
That’s Vernestra Rwoh. A wonderful character from the High Republic books.
I’m sure her tattoo will come into play at some point. Mae will pretend to be Osha and Sol won’t see it and not be tricked.
Chekhov's Tattoo.
How does fire in space work?
The same way explosions and ship sounds in space work
Answer: star wars universe has slightly different laws of phtsics than us

literally, I dont understand all the hates it gets on internet.
Of course she died. It’s not a light saber.
This show is on the same level as The Book of Boba Fett. And the FL (who has only one expression on her face throughout) doing that weird pose whenever she challenged to duel made me laugh everytime.
Ok MAGA IMBECILE
I liked the first two episodes. I like the characters of Mae/Osha and very intriguing what happens. Overall I think the dialogue and pacing is weak, however I’m still looking forward to the next ones. It’s not a desaster, but definitely not a masterpiece either. Let’s see how the ride goes … so far 7/10 for me
lmao u must be gay
The whole twin thing.
Why does Mae have a better handling of the Force and why Osha quit. That is something I would like to know why and how this happened other then the whole Anger vs Forgiveness thing.
Does that mean Evil has an easier path to the Force?
the pace is pretty good
i believe the gas that the pressure valve is spewing into space is likely air or oxygen or some kind of oxidizer. think about it we use rockets to travel in space so how are they able to burn? the reason is they use liquid oxygen. so you can start a fire in space so long as you bring your own oxygen.
The Force shall free me."
This is a contrast to the Jedi/Lightsaber mantra of Luke Skywalker: "There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
Dd you guys shoot this with a million dollar camera? First thing i noticed was how clear this video is lol
Imagine Hollywood without revenge...
Flashlight Saber?
Enjoying this a lot. Mae & Sol Osha loving them
I don’t like this show when it comes to the writing and ideas they chose. But visually, it’s pretty good. And I do like Master Sol and Trinity though 😂(I forgot her name that fast). Osha was supposed to stay on the light side and Mae went with the stranger. It made no sense for both of them to go with him when all the writers were gonna do is implement the rule of two. Either osha would die or overcome herself.
what makes osha not shooting mae even stupider is that it was a stun gun so i don't see why she wouldn't shoot her
I’d say LF should try and do some smaller level movies based in the High Republic era. Especially cover the hyperspace catastrophe and show the power of a mass of Jedi and what they can do as a group
I didn't know this show was being hated on. Oh well, I quite enjoyed the first two episodes and am looking forward to the rest of the series! Always gotta support Rue!
It's being hated because there aren't enough white men in the show.
Yes, the Florida Republican party has billion backers. These old men can hire army of online trolls to harass Disney. You see them all the time targeting Disney and Star Wars. They tried to target X-Men 97 but they got major push back.
@@toshtao1 or maybe it's being hated because the writing, dialogue and acting chops are crappy and the pacing slow burn is crap too.
Imagine big twist, Yord is the Sith😮.
I heard this crazy thing yesterday.
It was about another franchise but it applies here.
People like different things. And like different parts of things. Watch what you like and enjoy it. But show other people the same respect to watch what THEY like.
Basically, if you don't like a series or movie in a franchise, skip it. But, why expend energy shitting not only on it, but also in the fans who DO enjoy it?
trust me no fan of the original star war is enjoying this shit.
@@Virus2.0-c5zWhy "trust you" when you are absolutely WRONG?!?!?
@@scotthewitt258 trust the numbers, Disney is losing billions of dollars by making these woke shit
@@Virus2.0-c5z And the sad thing is, you ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until you see the intellectual depths they sink to in the next two episodes. Seems Disney refuses to miss out on any opportunity to screw up a classic series by force feeding their political agenda into it. Very sad.
39:29 Stun gun tech. By the time of the Empire laser blasters have the stun built in.
Loved the 2 episodes, the pacing was much better in the second one. The fights scenes are flawless.

no no don't you see, the twins are totally different because even though they have the same hair style one of them has it longer than the other
I remember my grandma told me, I don't care what they taught you in school but Anakin Skywalker blew up the Death Star and there's nogood and evil in Star Wars
Don't forget major plot holes..nah.. plot craters
1.they Identify DEI stronge female also immediately from the other side of the galaxy by a random alien barkeep, what he'd probably describe her as black human female with dreads and they identify her out of billions of people who would fit the same description.
5 more episodes? This is an 8 episode show
Wondertwin powers?
38:58 bruh just use the force to hold her in place and wait for the dust to clear up, you've been doing it this whole time
Can you believe this, people are angry because of the fire in space, and also the overweight Jedi. Hello guys👋🏻.
Season 2 would have been so much fun. Ah well, back to endless spinoffs.
I think all the internet hate on this show is completely absurd, and I hope it stays and ends strong, so people can eat their hats in the future, when people rediscover the pearl that this is.
Ps. It's funny you guys haven't seen Indara's death coming right in the beginning. It was written all over the trailers. Every time Carrie-Ann Moss showed up in the trailers someone said "a Jedi was murdered!..."
@CinePals I heard that the producer leyslie wants to make a live action kotor or thinking about it even putting a legend character in her Star Wars shows idk about that
I hope we see the counsil and Yoda

I think the twin scene should’ve been first scene in the first show.
And I found the matrix music/sound effect a little annoying… but cute.
So far I’m enjoying the show.

I just hope they dont waste Lee Jung Jae like Disney has done lately with the korean actors they've brought in so far. Still cant believe they gave Park Seo Jun such a forgettable character in the marvels.
But on to other note, i was pleasantly surprised with the first 2 eps and a little bit like hmm. This might be actually be good. I guess since i came in with really low expectations. Haha. The series is definitely a bit intriguing. Of course, ill wait till the 3rd or 4th episode to really give my full thoughts on it.

Nope. It's plasma powered by Birkeland Currents. The orthodox explanation is pure fantasy that doesn't support the evidence.
