A lot of young filipina singers idolize her but I can't think of who among them can sing better than her in terms of power, stamina and voice quality. Singing live for two hours in a concert is not a joke especially when you sing tough songs. Regine was not feeling well during this concert. If you noticed she cringed twice in this video. I heard that she even passed out backstage after the concert.

It's not an excuse but a show of passion and professionalism in her chosen craft. And her being equally great given her voice or physical condition is a fact that separates her from other vocalist. Her peers also acknowledged her stamina to deliver powerfully because we all know how busy she is especially in her 20s and 30s. Staging 30-50concerts per year, taping for weekly shows and daily tv series in between movies, Recording and corporate shows. She's the busiest Singer, host, Actress that we have. You cannot say the same even with the most popular singer/actress in her generation, Sarah who's just doing 1 to 10+ concerts per year and is not required to sing or sing live in her shows where she's just "one of.." It's not impossible to loose your voice or get sick if you are WORKING LIKE REGINE. Especially during early 2000 where she's like everywhere movie, tv, recording, guesting, concerts 😂
I always come back to watch and listen to these two........Even though they have volume control microphones and or autotune......the way that one can tell is by the echo effect.....I still love the performance
