Great video! I found your tips on packing for a trip really helpful. Having extra shoes for pool or beach activities is a smart idea, and those sunglasses you got from Amazon are super cute. The solar charger seems like a must-have for emergencies, and I totally agree about bringing reef-safe sunscreen. And those proctored at-home COVID-19 tests are definitely more convenient than getting tested on-site. Thanks for sharing these packing essentials!

I was amazed at the zipper scrunchies. I told myself I need to buy some, but I was thinking about the regular one. You know the scrunchies you find at the bottom of the pool, lol. Well, anyways next level thinking…….thank you for the great tips for my summer vacation!!!!
I was also amazed at the zupper scrunchies!! I have two now, different colors. They are so great for carrying money for tips in the pool. Every time I take money out of it for a tip, the people around me think it's genius! You're very welcome and I hope you have a great summer trip!

I wore my turkish towel as a scarf into the plane as well and just took it off and shoved it in my bag once the heat kicked in stepping off the plane in Mexico 😅✈️

I LOVE that hat. I actually bought one a few years ago. I wear it everywhere. They also have a larger brim beach hat (which I also bring). They work great to protect your face! Great video!

Hello. Thank you for this information. We are leaving for Mexico soon, and it is very helpful. I’m curious about how much/often/who it is appropriate to tip at the resorts. Thanks so much again.
You’re welcome! I’d say standard is $1-2 for drinks, $5 for breakfast and $10-20 for dinner. We like to tip on the higher side especially for great service and they very much appreciate when you do! Don’t forget housekeeping, etc! You can tip once a week or daily. A few dollars is good and USD is preferred.

Love this! Thanks for the tips! I was wondering if you have ever traveled to Cancun during Labor Day wkend and if it rains a lot at that time and if it does rain, is it all day or it passes by quick?
I’ll be there for Labor Day this year! And yes I’ve been around that time and it tends to pass quickly. It rarely rains all day.

Are they strict on what type of shoes are on a fine dining restaurant? I don't want to bring dress shoes just for that. My must have shoes are sneakers, water shoes and pool slides only. Thanks!
It’s going to depend on the resort. There are some restaurants that will require dress shoes or dress sandals.

hi! my family and I are actually traveling to Cancun soon, and there are no requirements except to be fully vaccinated when entering the country, and masks are required on the plane even if fully vaccinated!
@@anyasivakumar2195 I’m going in 20 days and you do not have to be vaxxed to get into Mexico. They don’t and have never cared about COVID restrictions. If you are coming from/going back to the US, you no longer need to get a test 24 hours before and you don’t need to be vaxxed to get back into the US as of last week. CDC is also no longer requiring masks on planes.
@@calamity_janie that’s interesting because we just flew and they were supper strict about vax records and masks. we flew viva aerobus so the rule might differ from other non charter airlines.

Hi Han, you have never needed a test to travel to Cancun.

@@hanvu6277 no that was over back in June. I recommend doing some research prior to travel vs asking on TH-cam. I’m happy to help and I’m a Travel agent so I know what’s going on on travel but you can always get bad info online so just be careful!
Water shoes for sharp coral on the beach! Also reef safe insect repellent (it's a jungle) :)
Yes to the clean insect repellent! Not an issue in the hotel zone but you’ll need it in Playa del Carmen, Puero Morelos, etc! Also good tip for the water shoes. Just make sure to not step on coral IN the water because you’ll damage it! I never wear them on the beach but it would be smart! I wear Teva sandals.
Do you really take a cabana with your coffee and just leave your blanket there for whenever you feel like going back?
Depending on the resort, yes! Of course you don’t just leave it all day, that would be rude. Only take one if you intend to use it. Some have policies to remove items after an hour or two but that typically happens later in the day.
I have the same battery charger. I didn’t realize it was solar.
it is! I charge it normally most of the time but I've charged it in the sun in Florida and Cancun and it works!!

It changed since I originally shared since they aren’t required anymore in the US. I recommend checking airline or country requirements but this was an emed proctored test.
