I'm putting my first boat together now, I'm using a ls1 with a 2.68 torque drive on an old floral city saltwater set up. Stainless Riggings an 14ft fiberglass haul. The original set up had a ground power, i am putting the finishing touches on it now, just waiting on my whirlwind 80 inch three blade. I hope to see you out there someday

I see you are going with a fiberglass hull. I’m seriously thinking about making riveted deck over hulls.
      As a market research question,
what is your opinion about deck over boats?
      And
Would you considered a aluminum riveted deck over for your personal boat?

@@floridamanrides863 personally I would love a riveted full deck boat; and will end up with one eventually. I am just going this route because I got the boat cheap from my buddy with no engine.

I grew up near Billy Kline in loxahatchee and he always believed in riveted hulls, it's the best method to join aluminum, that's why it is the method used in aircrafts due to its resistance to cracking as opposed to welds.

Should push airboat with other airboat....... work smarter not harder
