- This is a quick tutorial on how to use a multimeter on-screen in OBS (open broadcast). I specifically show mdFluke but the same process applies to any multimeter that you can pull up on-screen on a computer. Perfect for any electronics hobby or repair channel.

so what feature does the multi meter has to have in order to work a computer ?

With the Siglent and other equipment people use NI lab-view to import their data to custom made screens/control.
True but not free, siglent packages there own version of LabVIEW under the easy whatever product name. So easyscope for the oscilloscopes. I'll admit those tools don't work well.
I mean there is the community edition of LabVIEW which is good for non commercial use but it's hard to call it not commercial use when you're repairing something on screen that you are getting paid for lol
One troubleshooting tip: If mdFluke detects your meter (model and serial number in title bar), but doesn't show live values from the meter, your meter probably defaulted to a printout rate of zero. Press [2nd] [MN MX] to get to the Print-Only Mode settings, use the up and down arrow buttons to set a rate (I like 2 -- the number denotes that the meter will send every nth reading out the serial port), and then press [AUTO] to confirm. You will hopefully now have live updates in mdFluke.

Hi there my name is JJ and I have a 2010 VW Jetta and the Ecm is no good I bought a used one with the exact same part # question, the immobilizer e prone is the same 8 legs but in the opposite side of the card? Compared to the VW Ecm video you show how to replace it
