After several bikes 3-bmw's i finally bought a 2018 road king, and couldnt be happier with my decision, harley for life, there is no other brand for me, you just cant understand until u ride one, they are incredible...
You all prolly dont care but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Dax Scott Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
My wife saw this when we attended the local dealer's yearly fashion show yesterday. After comparing this Low Rider to the CVO Breakout we felt comfortable with our '09 FXDC....
Tuff Adams Ok, use your clutch instead of your front brake and see where it gets you. I just think it's funny because it is a presentation and advertisement. Makes no sense to leave it wrong. Much better an advertisement than a motorcycle teacher. Do you ever wonder about what missing detail-experience that caused the WY guy to wipe himself out within 3 miles of getting his nice new bike ? Best I can think of, is he incorrectly steered his bars away from the 18 wheeler.
anyone that has ever ridden a motorcycle should already know which is the clutch and which is the brake. And anyone that goes out and buys a harley for a first bike is either stupid as hell or has way too much money
The 1200 T looks great and at my height of 5' 3" it would fit perfectly but why only 2 inches of rear suspension travel it is going to be a bit harsh on British roads. One more inch of rear ride height would not be a problem and make it far more comfortable when touring. Also why non-waterproof panniers on a tourer here in Britain and northern Europe, not a good idea has it tends to rain a lot. It has an integrated alarm but no locking fuel cap. Also has Dennis Kilker says why only five-speed transmission on a tourer. Surely a 1200cc engined motorcycle has plenty of power. Before I did some research I was going to book a test ride but by the time I had swapped the saddlebags for waterproof ones changed out the shocks to gain more suspension travel for touring it became uneconomical. A real shame because I really love the look of the bike.
I agree on the rear suspension. I currently ride a standard Sportster and had a chance to ride a lower to the ground Sportster Iron. My suspension is great but the Sportster Iron was brutal when riding over bumps, especially with the thin saddle. The ground clearance was much less on the Sportster Iron. I'm 5'6" tall and can barely flat-foot my bike and I have room to spare with the lower Sportster Iron. You were right to pass up the lower bike.
Oh God yes, I am 5'10 and I have a 2018 Forty Eight but it's got much taller suspension than stock and I am still flat foot. The 1200T would be an incredibly easy bike to handle for someone that is 5'9!
The Sportster isn't ruined because this model did not replace any other models. It is just one more option. At least with the Sportster, depending on the model years, you could choose forward or mid-controls and different size front wheels. All of these variations in one model is a good thing.
Just picked one up, and it's everything claimed and more. Never thought they'd make a touring ready bike just for me. Kudos moco, kudos.
Which one?

Very nice the Low Rider 👍
that's my fav Harley Davidson motorcycle
These bikes are sooooo cool love them
really want this bike, but in the texas heat, sitting in traffic, don't know how well it will do being air cooled.
Why don't they put a six-speed transmission on the 1200?
A chrome indicator bar wow 😳😁😁
the best from harley davidson wasn't show on video, the engine sound!
at 2:01 she identifies the shift lever on the right side :)
chrisseratte Her hand and the camera is clearly on the right side of the bike when she says "shift lever".

I think we know what she meant to say. Whats the big deal?

Tuff Adams So they don't make one suitable for a first bike ?

Calling it a touring bike is a bit of a stretch lol
2024 and looking for a 10 years old Low rider ( damned the M8 softails😂 and new liquid cooled motor)
As Motas são lindas!
Would this be comfortable for someone that's 5'9 (the sportster)

Love the motorcycle but all i keep hearing is, this is a great motorcycle for short people. "Puts this motorcycle well withing reach" oh god lol
All change 2009 Dyna Super Glide

Falou e não disse nada quero saber o preço da moto nada mais JOSEILDO Cavalcante
So, how much company profits were made off loyal customers, switching from gear to cheap spring cam tensioners? Asking for a friend! 😡
Não adianta nada fale o preço da moto nada mais
hd has ruined the sportster by turning into something it is not....

That makes 0 sense, there was like 8 different sportster models in 2014 LOL
