I have a very similar story! My friend and I were making a 2 tier cake for the Americore group she was in. We did it at the school where she was a para. A fairly low income school. It was so hot in the morning, that as I was trying to ice the first tier, it started to melt. I iced it quickly and threw it in the freezer. Then I iced the next tier and froze it for a bit as well. But we had to get moving. So I pulled them out and stacked them up. They immediately started to melt again. So we moved it over in front of the window air conditioner while I worked on decorating it. I added some red, white and blue buttercream roses, but those too were trying to melt. I finished it quickly and we popped it back in the freezer while we cleaned up. Finally, we put it in the car to drive to the venue. I sat in the back with it to keep an eye on it. Every bump we hit, the roses slid more and more off the tiers. By the time we reached the venue, some of the flowers had almost completely fallen off. We ran it inside and put it directly into the walk-in cooler. I left after that, but my friend told me they pulled it out right before serving it and just turned the worst side to the back.
This is amazing and adorable, I think my favorite part is the zipper, it’s so realistic! I have a fun suggestion for a cake… a cardboard shipping package with the label and printed masking tape and folded sides… but it’s cake. Bonus points if a corner is smooshed in like someone dropped it

My m9m used to make wedding cake. She had her emergency repair kit and 5 kids who personally carried the cakes on our laps to protect them. I miss those days.

She has said in the past that the cake gets eaten by her, her husband, friends, family, basically anyone who wants some 😄 most of her cakes are pretty small, so it's not really all that much cake to rehome
There was some glue from the eyeshadow palette still stuck to the mold. You can remove all the glue from the palette before making the mold with isopropanol.
I have watched your videos and I think they are so great. I like the way you talk. I guess it's better if the frosting is different in colors other than just green. Then I hope the flavoring of the cakes are somehow related to the concept or is kinda uniquely flavored. Anyway, I love your videos.
In my old house I had some cute roller skates that my great grandfather gave me and when we moved I didn't have it anymore I missed so in honor of that can you please make a cake of roller skates because now I can basically still have it.
