You wouldn't make it to the end of the podcast!!!
The Tiempo Legend 30th anniversary “meh” edition 😂
Seems accurate to me 😂
Class pod as always lads! Thank you for taking my question! I tend to agree that it looks like carbon fibre plates are a somewhat a thing of the past, I'd hope that we start to see carbon tech like we see with Adler going forward from other brands tho!
Little bit of karvo here and there certainly won't hurt
The Flyknit Ultra from 2017 had a very gritty finish on the ribbed areas on that flyknit upper from pre-coated yarns that were integrated into the knit. Saw it again on the Venom Ultra. It’s a precursor of sorts to GripKnit. That was a Mercurial with a significantly grippy upper. It’s unorthodox for sure, but we did have it once in very limited quantities. I have a Flyknit Ultra, the upper is thin side, but the ribbed areas made it thicker than most other Mercurials. To some it’s the best Mercurial ever, I’m not in that group though.
This is true to a degree, but for me the Flyknit ultra was a limited release which makes a difference and it's certainly more of a texture than a full grip upper if I'm comparing the ultra to the GX for example, as for the venom there's not much Mercurial DNA in there. I also do think the Flyknit ultra is great and I'm not against some upper texturing on a Mercurial, they've done that many times, so I'm just hoping there is a significant difference between the GX Flyknit and the Mercurial Flyknit
I have to say I’m optimistic on Gripknit. On paper sounds like the same thing as the GX2s, but I imagine the grip not as grippy, more a “it will have enough grip”. It’s going back to knit (for a super fan of the 13s this is good), and you have high tenacity yarns in it too. So I think this actually exciting as it’s trending more into a Vapor 13 rather than the synthetic of the past couple generations.
Hopefully you're right
If they match this with the soleplate AG of either the Vapor 13s or 14s, then these boots will be unreal.
I agree with BW about the gripknit in the mercurial. It doesn’t fit the ethos of Mercurial and creates a lower difference between it and the Phantom. If multiple silos are going to have the same features then why have multiple silos? Idk. Dumb.
Different silos are mainly for different fits, they add different features so it’s not a “wide fitting model”. Always been that way since synthetics became a thing.
I would have to disagree, I don't think different silos are mainly for different fits, the aim is to appeal to a different section of thr market to try and sell more product, now fit is a part of that but I don't think it's why they mainly exist at all.
Yeah I'd have preferred to see it retain more differences
Also bring back vapor 13! The best ever for me
One of my favourites too
Finally. I was eager to listen to this. Ahahahah
Hope you enjoy
They’ve dropped the ball with these. They look more like American football 🏈 cleats
There's definitely an American football vibe to them
Hey can you review the new concave volt+ spark v1’s cheers
I might do for the Boot Wizard channel once they go on sale. Unfortunately it's a lot of money to spend on a boot that won't generally have much interest.
You could always return them back to prodirect after reviewing mate. I’m thinking of buying them just waiting for a sale.
@@naheemkhan1397 PDS don't accept used returns. Unfortunately fairly impossible to do a good and fair review without wearing them for at least a few hours on the pitch.
All I ask is they trend more towards the vapor 13 with the knitted upper. the 14/15 have both been meh
Will be interesting to see what direction they've ended up going when they drop
What month y’all think it will drop
Very early July or late June would be my guess.
Not until They re release T90 and Mercurial Vapor IV will Nike make a comeback
I don't think we will ever see a Vapor 4 re release. As for the T90, it would be cool to see, but at the end of the day it's just a name, and is it as big of a deal as the Predator name? Probably not.
Just bring back the Vapor 10. It's the best vapor ever made
I'd say Andrew would agree with you there
@@BootWizard which vapor is your favourite?
@@BosGaurus05 tough one, I'm going to say 13, just in case Andrew reads this 😂
@@BootWizard that vapor is so sexy looking
Whats the best leather boot in the market currently and why is the Allure superior to it 👀
😂😂😂😂
Miss
Miss on the new merc?
